Actually, in the comics the Joker was the Red hood before the Batman stopped him but an accident led to him falling into a container of chemicals. The joker was those born. The Batman's biggest mistake was that accident, because it led to his second biggest mistake, the death of Jason Todd

i know but joker was actually not a red hood.he family was kidnapped by the mobster.and the mobster trademark are red hood.but when the police came to capture the mobster,the mobster put on a red hood on joker and his family,then the mobster ran away.then when the police came,they shot the wrong red hood,accidentally killed the family.then joker try to ran away,and batman is catching him,he keep shouting,you cought catching the wrong guy,the real red hood mobster has already ran awaay,

dick grayson from robin to nightwing,jason todd suppose to be dead but he want to wake up from the dead and be red hood.he become red hood juz to make joker scared and beat joker with a crowbar like how joker kill him.joker was scared of the red hood gimmick coz b4 jack is joker,the mobster who kill his wife and unborn child costume were a red hood like how robin wears it.most people think jason todd were slade but no cause their age are not big of a difference.
