This is How I imagine Jason Todd got Roy to join his team it was actually surprisingly easy it only took about 5 days of work
So The story is Jason ( Red Hood ) is looking for the recently quit Roy Harper ( Red arrow ) Todd then proceedes to chase him down when he gives up Roy is perplexed and decides to chase Jason Down they continue the Cat and Mouse game until Red Hood has the upper at which he makes the offer to join his team.

What with Roy in jail in a third world country about to be executed till Jason decides to pull a jail break...
