It feels amazing! I can feel this practice helping with patience with my kids. When I would lose my shit and get mad I have taken deep breaths and even done a few quick sun salutations to calm down. When you said "you aren't working toward anything you aren't already are" it was so empowering! I am thankful for life and he chance to be my best self today.

My dear friend, you help so many people,I'm 74 and I started this journey in yoga over twenty years ago. When I found your channel I guess it's been at least 10 years. I just want to let you know you have shown me I CAN AND I WILL. Sounding a bit dramatic but, you have taught me to love myself and treat myself kindly and acceptance. I've done your 30 days from past videos and this Home series will take me to 90 days straight without fail. I'm very proud of myself because you set great intentions. With love and kindness Alexis P. S. Very grateful🙏🏻❤️

I’ve been doing every year for the past 4 years and it breaks my heart to write that I had to stop last week as I’m in a air cast for sprained ankle that was unrelated. I’ve been doing yoga for 7 years and it’s my nightly routine along side you through darkest days to the joyous. I thought I need to scrub my feed so I don’t see the daily videos as it’s killing me to not be in the 30 days live anymore but I haven’t unsubscribed. I see the videos daily and know I’ll be back! It doesn’t matter if I did it live just that I continue once I’m healed.

It happens very rarely to me but today I was not in the mood for practice. I postponed till the late evening, then found out it was 30 min long and felt even less doing it. I still stepped on the mat. It was tough, I didn't find that usual connection with my body and my inner world which usually yoga gives me but I definitely feel a little bit better than before. One day in the future when I ever repeat the Home journey, I'm sure this practice will bring me totally different sensations.
And as always, can't wait for tomorrow's session! Namaste.

This is truly amazing. I have been with YWA for the last 3 years doing yoga every day. Adriene has been my best therapist, my healer, my cheerleader and supporter even though we have never met in person. And now, on this journey HOME I am finalising and preparing to move to my first apartment at the end of January. The journey HOME. I would have never managed to do all of this on my own if not YWA community. It is one of those times when 'Thank You' sounds too weak. Namaste.

This one is absolutely fantastic for the hips, glutes, low back. Lots of clunks and crunches as I moved through the poses, but I could feel tension in those areas release significantly. I've been trying to counter my sedentary job with some indoor biking on top of my daily yoga, and this really hit the spot to help all of those "fired up" muscles relax. Thank you Adriene!

As a former gymnast who still walks on her toes from time to time, I had NO hope that they ever would. Oh the beauty!! This one had me at “lets begin in extended child’s pose” (enter Kermit going crazy 😝)
All jokes aside - this gave me so much joy. I have extremely tight hips after many years of dealing with a very bad back and a major back surgery 3 years ago. And today, I got much closer to a real pigeon than I ever have. And I actually got my knee over in cow pose (sitting on a pillow). I never ever thought this would be in my vocabulary!
And my PT was delighted today when she saw the progress in the hip work.
I am delighted and thankful and humbled. To find the courage to start believing in my body again - and feel the response - there are no words.
    Thank you. Thank you.

Oh, how I outta known it was gonna be hip openers. 💓💓The first pigeon I was already meeting resistance. Surrendering and listening to the feelings passing through. MANY. Healing a heart is weird. It's never linear. I also giggled out loud HARD with "some of you are "YEAAAAAAH!" I was in that category. Those hip swivels felt like magic stirring. 🧡💚💓 And as I leaned forward into my cow pose, the tears came a coming. I kept getting the internal message of "it's ok to let go, the universe has got you".. Then I hear "if you're tender hearted, I got you."
This was a gentle, kind, supportive release. See you all on the mat tomorrow. 🧡💚💓 Namaste. 🧘‍♀️🙏🌚

This journey has taught me to accept where I'm at today. This is the first practice that I've thought 'nope this is too much for me today' at about the twenty minute mark. I was about to turn off the video when I saw the rest was settling into pigeon so decided to rejoin again. I've brought this lesson of self-recognition, awareness and forgiveness into all other aspects of my life as well, and it's making life a much happier one - thank you Adriene x

My dog just had puppies and one of angel puppy didn't get a chance. You make me want to cry how does it feel to be alive God bless

I'll start by saying that I love you, Adriene! I love this safe place you created for us!
"This practice is designed to support you, stay with it!" resonated so deeply tonight
I had an unpleasant encounter right before coming home and I couldn't wait to be up the stairs and down to the mat to work it out of my system, but I was so angry that at like minute 9 I almost gave up, but reading the comments (as I usually like to do after practicing with you) brought me back, and I'm glad I did.. by minute 25 I reached forgiveness for both myself (for being in a reactive state) and for the other person. I'm going to bed in peace.

Thank you for this at home practice where we can ugly cry in pigeon pose with your kindness & and acceptance.

    *Home - Day 22 :* Night
Today (Jan 23rd) was my birthday! ❤️
It was a rather peaceful one but one of those days where I literally felt I am loved!
My LDR boyfriend's family who only met me once showed how much they appreciate me in very different and beautiful ways, I've got random acts of kindness from strangers, had a great time with my mom and felt so loved by my boyfriend.
I think I didn't quite realize how lucky I am until it hit me on that Pigeon pose.
I'm thankful to God, to the universe, to all the people that made this day this special. Thank you Adriene for helping me realize how blessed I am.
    Namaste ☮️❤️🍦🥰

Today you stirred my emotions. I didn't feel like yoga tonight, even though I looked forward to it all day. I couldn't sit still during the practice, I had to check myself and make myself breathe and stop adapting my postures. I don't know why, today don't feel right. I had the urge to cry during the last postures. Somehow I'm glad I have showed up, because I know that keeping it up will make a difference, as it has already. Thank you for your time Adrienne.

A nagging shoulder/trapezius injury had me opting for child's pose many times throughout the practice. Leaned into loving the awareness and respect I have for my body by making this choice when the "you should be able...." thought popped up. Also, cried during pigeon pose. I've often heard the hips hold emotion and extended holds including hips can let some of those emotions release. This was my first time experiencing it myself. Adriene, when you said "if you have a tender heart, I got you" it was a gift. Thank you 🙏

Dearest Adriene, thank you SO much for this video. This is the absolute most healing, beneficial practice I’ve ever engaged in. My body needed this so desperately. I had a stroke about a year & a half ago, leaving my right side weak. Breathing into the areas as directed by you in this vid made me feel like a brand new human. I could actually hear the gentle cracks in my body throughout this practice. I think this is the best video possible for those practicing/needing myofascial release. Favorited & loved every second. Thank you so much for guiding me through this. You are an absolute angel.

Another update of my yoga with Chauncey (my ferret.) I don't know how, but as soon as this video started playing and you started talking, Chauncey poked his head out from under his blanket and was ready to come out and join me with my yoga. Stir it up, stir it up! Reminds me of one of Rihanna’s songs, only it’s called Pour it up! Wow! This invigorated me because I’ve been down, realizing I can’t do chaturanga correctly because my arms are still too weak and I pull muscles deep within my chest that I can’t explain. ! I’m adding light weights to my workout. But I did this STRONG today and it has lifted my spirits! I love this practice! Again, thank you Adriene, for such a great service!🙏

Almost didn't show up on the mat tonight... Not only did I feel like I would be disappointing myself but would be disappointing y'all as well. While I know it's ok not to show up some days (everyone has those days) and y'all wouldn't have judged, yet I was still afraid of those mean inner voices bringing me down. I guess it says a lot about how great this community is. It's a world of inspiration and love where we pick each other up when we fall down even being world's apart. It's a community where I know there's others going through the same things I am and if they can show up, well darn it, so can I! For that, I want to say thanks to Adriene and her team and to all you beautiful souls out there! Sending lots of love and good vibes! 💚 Goodnight from Arkansas...

    I'm so calm, wonderful feeling.
I'm still sitting on the mat and I can't stop smiling. The day itself is great but this yoga practice made it even better.
I love pigeon, it always shows me that I'm not as flexible as I would like to be. At the same time it gives me an opportunity to try harder so I can see the progress. But no pushing myself.
I can't believe how many things I discovered recently because of the yoga practice. Thank you so much for that.

Today's practice was needed mentally and physically. I was awake until after 4am with sharp pains in the meat of my bum, which I know is back related; and with thoughts of the passing of my sweet Aunt Cindy whose tooth and nail battle with pancreatic cancer ended yesterday afternoon. As my brain and heart adjust to accept this, it was good for the mat to have my back and let me focus on my body for a bit. Happy to report that the bum feels better.

A couple of weeks ago rising anxiety had sent me to urgent care when I reacted incredibly badly to some meds that were supposed to help. Since then I have made some changes and followed this journey with all of you guys, I went back to work last week and the whole week was challenging but I did it, this week, I feel more confident and have had a much less challenging time! I’m pretty sure along with meditation, good nutrition, and challenging my thoughts patterns, this yoga and breath work has been invaluable! Thanks and let’s just do this every day forever 😊🧘🏻‍♀️🙌🏻

I'm seated at my desk, sitting upright, and I turn to the right to look out the window, and I find myself sitting up straight, shoulders down, with my left hand on my right thigh taking in the view. Yoga is working for me. I can't believe it! I even consciously notice when I'm slouching and automatically pull my shoulders up and back. I love this practice so much! Thank you Adriene.
