  • Stir it up! This is a slow flow class to soften out the hard edges, inviting you to continue to pay attention to the sensations in the physical and emotional body. I love regular daily, at-home yoga practice because I really get this sense that every time I show up, the practice is catching me on any given day.
Wherever I land, with whatever I am bringing, the mat has my back. What if that were true? Our exploration in yoga practice can stir up some powerful mind and bodywork.
Continue to slow down your breath, move mindfully, and stay open.
This practice (and this whole project) is designed to support you and have your back.
Stir it up, little darling. Notice what it feels like to be alive today.
Be kind to yourself. Be gentle. Create space. If you are this way on your yoga mat, you are more likely to be this way off the mat.

It feels amazing! I can feel this practice helping with patience with my kids. When I would lose my shit and get mad I have taken deep breaths and even done a few quick sun salutations to calm down. When you said "you aren't working toward anything you aren't already are" it was so empowering! I am thankful for life and he chance to be my best self today.

My dear friend, you help so many people,I'm 74 and I started this journey in yoga over twenty years ago. When I found your channel I guess it's been at least 10 years. I just want to let you know you have shown me I CAN AND I WILL. Sounding a bit dramatic but, you have taught me to love myself and treat myself kindly and acceptance. I've done your 30 days from past videos and this Home series will take me to 90 days straight without fail. I'm very proud of myself because you set great intentions. With love and kindness Alexis P. I’ve been doing every year for the past 4 years and it breaks my heart to write that I had to stop last week as I’m in a air cast for sprained ankle that was unrelated. I’ve been doing yoga for 7 years and it’s my nightly routine along side you through darkest days to the joyous. I thought I need to scrub my feed so I don’t see the daily videos as it’s killing me to not be in the 30 days live anymore but I haven’t unsubscribed. I see the videos daily and know I’ll be back! It doesn’t matter if I did it live just that I continue once I’m healed.

This is truly amazing. I have been with YWA for the last 3 years doing yoga every day. Adriene has been my best therapist, my healer, my cheerleader and supporter even though we have never met in person. And now, on this journey HOME I am finalising and preparing to move to my first apartment at the end of January. The journey HOME. I would have never managed to do all of this on my own if not YWA community. It is one of those times when 'Thank You' sounds too weak. Namaste.

It happens very rarely to me but today I was not in the mood for practice. I postponed till the late evening, then found out it was 30 min long and felt even less doing it. I still stepped on the mat. It was tough, I didn't find that usual connection with my body and my inner world which usually yoga gives me but I definitely feel a little bit better than before. One day in the future when I ever repeat the Home journey, I'm sure this practice will bring me totally different sensations.
And as always, can't wait for tomorrow's session! Namaste.

Oh the beauty!! This one had me at “lets begin in extended child’s pose” (enter Kermit going crazy 😝)
All jokes aside - this gave me so much joy. I have extremely tight hips after many years of dealing with a very bad back and a major back surgery 3 years ago. And today, I got much closer to a real pigeon than I ever have. And I actually got my knee over in cow pose (sitting on a pillow). I never ever thought this would be in my vocabulary!
And my PT was delighted today when she saw the progress in the hip work.
I am delighted and thankful and humbled. To find the courage to start believing in my body again - and feel the response - there are no words.

Today's practice was needed mentally and physically. I was awake until after 4am with sharp pains in the meat of my bum, which I know is back related; and with thoughts of the passing of my sweet Aunt Cindy whose tooth and nail battle with pancreatic cancer ended yesterday afternoon. As my brain and heart adjust to accept this, it was good for the mat to have my back and let me focus on my body for a bit. Happy to report that the bum feels better.

I’m a little behind with the Home series~ completed day 22 today. Adriene says, “If you start to feel a little tender hearted I’ve got your back. Stirring it up, yoga it’s powerful mind-body work.” Tears start to rise up inside of me as I feel a connection with the physical tightness in this pose and how tightly I’ve been holding onto emotional pain. Cried for the rest of the practice. This is truly more than a space for Yoga. Adriene~ thank you for empowering others with connection. 🙏🏼

I've been in the practice humbly on and off for about 10-11 years. One thing that stuck with me a few days back was "find your center and the rest will follow." I've never practiced that way.
I'm tall and awkward with hips off kilter, not enough strength in my center quite yet. I have more weight than i'd like to carry, but finding my center has helped me in more ways than just being in balance on the mat. I feel like the 30 day practice is always restorative. And no matter how far I drift, the restorative practice always brings me back.
Adrienne has such a way of projecting restoration. Exactly what this practice intended for me. A return to the practice of yoga and oneself. A return home.

    I'm so calm, wonderful feeling.
I'm still sitting on the mat and I can't stop smiling. The day itself is great but this yoga practice made it even better.
I love pigeon, it always shows me that I'm not as flexible as I would like to be. At the same time it gives me an opportunity to try harder so I can see the progress. But no pushing myself.
I can't believe how many things I discovered recently because of the yoga practice. Thank you so much for that.

Oh gosh I didn't realise that stir it up would stir up emotions. When I checked in with my emotional body at the beginning it all felt good but from pigeon onwards I couldn't stop my tears from flowing! Have had a hug from my dogs now and all good again but today helped me to release in a very unexpected way. So glad I was practicing at home alone today! I am realising how powerful yoga is and as always love the way you teach Adriene. Thank you. Have a peaceful thursday everyone. Namaste xxx

Around 19:26 I noticed my heart was beating really fast and really hard so I paused the video and took deep breaths laying in bed for about 15 minutes.
Not gonna lie it never happened to me before so I felt a bit worried.
I'm not sure if it's something emotional that came out or if I'm really that out of shape. I'm young so it's probably nothing to worry about. It's a good thing that I can now listen to my body and know when something isn't right, after the break I bounced back in the mat and finished the session from where I left off.

I'll start by saying that I love you, Adriene! I love this safe place you created for us!
"This practice is designed to support you, stay with it!" resonated so deeply tonight
I had an unpleasant encounter right before coming home and I couldn't wait to be up the stairs and down to the mat to work it out of my system, but I was so angry that at like minute 9 I almost gave up, but reading the comments (as I usually like to do after practicing with you) brought me back, and I'm glad I did.. by minute 25 I reached forgiveness for both myself (for being in a reactive state) and for the other person. I'm going to bed in peace.

    *Home - Day 22 :* Night
Today (Jan 23rd) was my birthday! ❤️
It was a rather peaceful one but one of those days where I literally felt I am loved!
My LDR boyfriend's family who only met me once showed how much they appreciate me in very different and beautiful ways, I've got random acts of kindness from strangers, had a great time with my mom and felt so loved by my boyfriend.
I think I didn't quite realize how lucky I am until it hit me on that Pigeon pose.
I'm thankful to God, to the universe, to all the people that made this day this special. Thank you Adriene for helping me realize how blessed I am.
    Namaste ☮️❤️🍦🥰

A nagging shoulder/trapezius injury had me opting for child's pose many times throughout the practice. Leaned into loving the awareness and respect I have for my body by making this choice when the "you should be able...." thought popped up. Also, cried during pigeon pose. I've often heard the hips hold emotion and extended holds including hips can let some of those emotions release. This was my first time experiencing it myself. Adriene, when you said "if you have a tender heart, I got you" it was a gift. Thank you 🙏
