I think that you should explain more to the girls. You should have say more about the lyrics, kendrick... Maybe you should make them react to subtitled videos. I felt like they didn't have deep thoughts about the music however the message is very important in kendrick's music. I liked the video tho!

Minetou gaye i kinda like the raw reaction without disclaimers and explainations more because it makes their reactions genuine. The only critique I would have is giving them Korean subtitles or something so they actually understand what's being said but it still keeps their reactions authentic.

Yeah not for the most part, but I get what she's saying. On a superficial level, they do both have videos with them doing a lot of random unrelated scenes and crazy visual effects. It's called surrealism. G-Dragons video for "Crayon" is another example.
I think she only said that cause it’s a hip hop style. Not the same type of sub genre hip hop but does lie in that category.

I wish these people knew English or if there would be subtitles for them or even for many other languages, since this song is pretty deep and you wouldn't be able to tell if you don't know English. Kendrick Lamar's songs in general are pretty deep.
That's what I felt too! Even native english speakers have difficulty understanding the song, especially without the benefit of the context being explained. It does the song, these listeners, and the artiste (as well as others like him) a disservice. Particularly when it comes to stereotyping and the like.

honestly if you're going to do videos of reacting to videos of rappers like Kendrick Lamar - you really have to let them know what the video is about and what he's saying. Why they're bald, why he's on fire, and the imagery for the video Kendrick chose. His music is already artistic but the way he sets up his music videos is to implement more on what he's saying. Kendrick is very political and talks about the social issues in his environment. Letting those who are reacting these type of videos provides more value and transparent understanding to those who don't know what it's like living in rapper's like Kendrick's day-to-day life. These girls just don't get what's going on and just think it's a good beat. And honestly personally that's not good at all because they're just going to miss the point of the song. It's an okay "reaction" video I guess but it felt like it devalued the purpose of the subject of what they're watching. If you're going to set up a reaction video you really have to put in more context so the person reacting has am opportunity to be open-minded about it. That's just my two cents. You guys could have done this a lot better :/

put some respeck on ma name im kinda disappointed in this video tbh. Like before you let other people see videos - watch them yourself as the host of your yt channel before you let others see it and be sure to know what context it’s about. This is why fine bros has a shit ton of views and subs cause they ask and inform the people viewing the video. They talk about what they researched and why it’s a big hit or it’s viewed a lot. Then they progress letting the viewer know why and what it means and then ask what they think. Spreading something without context is kinda dangerous cause then you’ll never know the truth. You’re just laughing at bald men bobbing their head up and down and you don’t even know why :/

I get a little nervous watching these kinds of videos because Koreans tend to have a very stereotypical view of black people and it always rubs me wrong.

I feel you , its not just korea but it’s an east Asian thing , that they sheepishly inherited from white people, i mean at the same time they music industry is dominated by Rnb and hip pop and other black influenced genre , funny huh .
Met these Chinese tourists in Australia who their view on black peoples was that they sing criminal music , I later found out they were referring to gangster rap. But than , after talking to them for a while , they told me they love Kpop and jazz music, After listening to their favourite k pop songs which are mostly Rnb fused with Hip Pop, i explained to them that their favourite types of music was black peoples music. I was pissed by that time being half black myself, let just say the conversation afterwards was just awkward.

Most Koreans girls are into ballads and indie music. They might listen to a few Korean rap artists here and there, but most of them aren't hip hop heads. So they don't know much about rap history or a lot of American rappers.

Korea is a very safe country compared to most countries. It's the same mentality that white people in the suburbs have about rappers. You're black, so you know your people whether you're from the ghetto or from the suburbs. I'm Korean, but I was born and raised in East LA, so I know about the streets and was exposed to all of this. But I don't think it's "shameful" ignorance. Ignorance, yes. But that's how they are because of the lack of exposure to these things. And true, maybe it's the way he looks, but I also think it's the way he looks into the camera. It's not about making a scary face. It's the way you look at someone that can intimidate people. But it's also not because he's black though. Which is what a lot of people, especially black people, might misconstrue her comment to be.

sure the beat is cool and the flow is on point, but rap is meant to be heard and understood. There will always be a wall separating them from actually enjoying it because they don't understand. 영상제작 의도를 모르겠네요
예를 들어 한국 힙합 가수 뮤비를 외국인 에게 보여줬을때 반응과 한국 발라드 가수 들의 뮤비를 외국인 에게 보여줬을때 영상들을 보았을땐 그들은 가사는 몰라도 음악에 대해 이야기들을 하였는데
이 영상에 나오시는 분들은 전혀 음악적인 견해도 없이 너무 무지해보입니다...
차라리 자막이 있거나 아니 자막이 없어도 노래에 대한 분위기를 이야기 하거나...마냥 영상에 보여지는 장면에 대해서 견해만 이야기를 하니 음악 뮤비를 틀어놓고 마치 사진만 보고 이야기를 나누는거 같아

그리고 솔직히 음악하는 가수 뮤직비디오를 보여주곤

진짜 이건 지금봐도 잘못 보여줬다고 생각함. 켄드릭이면 예전 tde 들어가기전 믹테는 아니더라도 TPAB 앨범중에 한곡으로 들려줬으면 너무 좋았을텐데.. alright 뮤비 자막 해석한걸로 보여줬다면 켄드릭이라는 뮤지션이 어떤 의미를 가지고 이 게임에 임하고 있는지 ,켄드릭이 가져가려는 무브먼트가 뭔지에 대해서 파악하고 봤으면 정말 좋았을듯.. 아님 2016년인가 이때했던 그래미 어워즈 무대에서 했던 무대도 진짜 레게노였는데 참 켄드릭 팬으로서 정말 아쉽누 ㅠㅠ
