Hi!! I would love to know what software you use to create your patterns, I really love drafting my own patterns and haven't explored much online pattern software other than gerber and accumark.
Daaaaamn I wished I found you a bit earlier. I finished today my very first project, a kinda sports jacket like a pokemon trainer jacket with these raglan sleeves. I didn't even know how they there called. oh my gosh. It was so fidely, because I get my pattern from a jacket I already had. and the sleeve was so hard to match. It turned out okay-ish. The neckline doesn't fit perfectly but the sleeve sitting very well on my arm ahaahahhaha. Btw do you speak another language? I might hear an accent out, is it german?
Im so glad you're here now! 🥰 yeah, taking patterns from your clothes is never as accurate as making a pattern from scratch. I totally feel that 🙈🙈 Yep I'm German 👍🏻

Your videos are a great resource. What you call stair stepping is called grading the seam. Where you cut the seam allowance to different lengths.

Hi, This may sound stupid! But how would you cut the fabric without measuring the side seam? Because I do always measure and it takes so much time!
I've been doing this for years by now and just eye-measure my seam allowances. It's not that important, especially for this oversized jacket 👌🏻
