World of AI is out-dated, you should try AIG's AIFP. I have done a series of tutorial to explain how to get it installed and running in P3D V4

I use the free SPAIv7 pack (and it's only 1.2 gig) using Bit-torrent and the PirateBay site. Installed it into P3D v3 and it works great. Also I renamed his "Trafficaircraft.bgl" file to "TrafficaircraftSPAI.bgl". The sim now uses both the SPAI and P3D aircraft. So, then I removed the P3D paints of the OBITX, Pacifica, Pacific Airways, Landmark and World Travel fictional Airlines. I used "Little Nav Map" (also a free must have program) to double check that I removed them all. The end result is SPAI runs the Major Airlines (it contain limited civil flight plans). By removing the fiction P3D airlines, the default "Trafficaircraft.bgl" handles the Civil air traffic. I set my traffic sliders to 100% ON and the result is PERFECT.
Great. It works awesome.
A small tip:
Never use internet explorer.
Developers hate it for some reason.

You may also need to add the liveries to the CFG file.
So when doing this for the first time, that means several hours of work if you install alot of WOAI packages, I guess?
Andreas Stangenes I suppose it would depending on how many you install. I've always added one or two from time to time but never added a ton of them all at once.

I followed all your steps and I can see the first airlines I add already flying around so all good there but what you do when you drop identical folders on the simobjects folders; example I installed southwest planes and now I want Delta, they also have 737-800's so when I drop the folder will ask to overwrite, so im not sure if that will cause the southwest 737-800 dont show any more since I place Delta. I hope you understand my question.

window ask replace or skip i don't do replace think that might replace my other AI , i normally skip and copy is it i'm doing right?
also default airport doesn't show more than 1 or two AI but payware airport show lots of aircraft is it this is the its work?

I can't speak on UT2. But I really like WoAI. I don't really notice a frame hit and it populates the airport enough to wear i'm happy with it.

jd88x89 I typically do not see a performance hit when taxiing around the airport.

so thanks to you again, but one question do i have slide the setting up to 100% to get AI if do this impact on my graphic or fps
what is the best setting to have normal AI without compromising my Graphic & fps, although i love to see many AI on Airport.

You are very welcome, glad this helped you! Having it at 100% doesn't affect the FPS for me much at all. Certainly not like the road vehicle traffic. I like it at 100 because then you get the max amount of planes.
How do I add aircrafts alone. Like if I want to add am a380 ?
You can do it using the same method if you have an A380 file.
nice one, I knew about woai but opted for ut2. Both viable options I guess. Do you disable default fsx/p3d traffic by deleting or renaming the corresponding bgl file?
I might have, I can't remember now : / All I remember is placing the textures then I started to see them at the airport instead of the fictitious airlines.
hi. nice video, i did everything exactly as u said up to the point of copying and pasting the scenery, but when i start fsx, still no ai aircrafts at the airports. i use fsx and my traffic density is to the highest setting. any help? thanks
Jerome Coulthrust if you have FSX you don't have to copy and paste. That method is for P3D users. The program will install them for you if you have FSX.

I tried this method, but ended up with no AI traffic at all. A couple of thoughts from me after doing this installation method: The WOAI installer does not support p3d. That's why you have to do manual extraction I guess, or else it would fook up and install in the wrong directory. Secondly, when copying the content of the extracted WOAI aircraft folder, I kept getting windows notices asking if I'd like to keep the old files, or replace them. Since your video did not mention anything about that, I opted to replace the files. Was that wrong?
Lastly, since the installation is manual, the airplane.cfg files are of course not edited to reflect the various liveries. Doesn't that bork it all up? Is that was is causing my p3d to run devoid of AI traffic?
Andreas Stangenes personally I never edited the cfg file but it is a good idea to do that. You might even end up with more liveries showing up. Some of these liveries only show up at certain airports. For the files that it's asking you to overwrite I would change the title of the files first. Otherwise let's say you install a delta 737 and an Alaskan 737 it might over right the delta one. Sorry man this method is by no means the best but people were always asking what I did for AI and this was it.
And when I've got all AI Traffics (over 600), how can I extract them automaticallly into P3D?

How to get smooth frames, that's my question. I have a GTX1060 6GB, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and a Ryzen 5 1600 CPU. Quite up to date for 2017, yet my frames are sub 30fps for most of the time. When there's no ai traffic and no city scenery I can hit 30+ fps. Any tips?

You will only see 6-8 tops at one time. Not all airports will show the planes you download.

What airport do you see all the British Airways at? Ultimate Traffic Live would be what' you're looking for but it's not free.

It won't. Maybe 6 at a time. Ultimate Traffic Live has way more traffic.

Sometimes I don't. it depends on the airport and the weather. The AI doesn't really impact my frames.

Which version of Prepar 3D are you using ? The $200 price tag is a too expensive and the $2300 version way out of my price range. Will the $59 version work like the one you are showing ? I hope you understand what I am asking.
I have the $200 version. The $60 version will work it just has a small watermark on it. Have you considered X-Plane 11? It cost $60 and looks very nice by default. P3D requires a lot of addons to make it look good. XP also has a ton of freeware.

No it's a different file structure.
I see you're using Windows 10 as well. Every time I get to the last step of the installer extracting the files, I just get an error from the installer.. and I am running as an administrator. Hope you can help :\

Alright so I'm double confused, because on the site it says these packages are for FSX not Prepar3d, but I downloaded both anyway.. the error says:
Unhandled exception has occured in your application. "Unexpected EOF."
I've been looking around for solutions but none on windows 10.. I just can't extract anything through that installer. Thanks for getting back to me so soon!
Around 2:23 is the step you need to take for Prepar3D. Normally it installs them for you but this tutorial is about doing it manually which is how you get them to work with Prepar3D.
When I installed Windows 10 it kind of forced it on me. One day I logged into my computer and I had Windows 10. So it had updated in the middle of the night from Windows 7. I suggest going on the official Windows 10 forum. People there are very responsive and they should be able to help you. Was this a download or are you running it off a disk or flash drive?
Thank you for reply.. and trying again like you said. Now, so something new, as you downloaded and extracted AIs that didn't have the option for FS9 or FSX, only AVISM/FlightSim... so I tried downloading one that only had ONE download option, and it worked. (North American Airlines)
I'm not sure as to why, but the big ones like Delta, United, Etc, all have the option for FS9 or FSX and cannot be extracted.. maybe just doesn't work? But I got one at least! Thank you very much :) If you are able to extract ones like Delta and United that'd be awesome for what one you're doing. Thank you!
You're welcome! Delta should work. I don't see them show up at too many airports other than KATL. There is usually around 15 or 20 Delta flights around that airport.

Yes it will work the same. You can use their installer for FSX. You shouldn't have to copy anything to the folder like I did in the video.

It's in the options under traffic. Assuming you're using P3D.

I can't remember where they put the traffic tab on FSX it's been a while. It's somewhere in the graphics settings.

Last time I tried it wasn't working. The textures would show up black. That was with version 4.0. Not sure if 4.2 will change that or not.

Correct, it will give you the real life ones. XP11 atleast comes with a few real life liveries. For P3D and FSX they have 3 fictitious liveries for traffic. But before you buy anything check this out: ruclips.net/video/LAOvnzifzcY/видео.html
