They unscrew. They are silly, but they unscrew. Just like I showed in the video, there isn't a tool, and I had to tap them off with a screwdriver. But, they do finally come off. They are now in the trash.
Loving the truck man and I'll save that 300 bucks I think it's a done deal by the way where is that drift track you go to my son and I are in the drift scene and always looking for a new place to go.
@@RoadsideRC but,it does look like it could be pretty good with a little work, tuning and testing. I don't think it did bad for a first version straight out of the box. If you ever think about getting rid of it or trading it off for something, please give me a yell. BTW, you gonna try to make beat the creek in Maysville this year or Axialfest?
Needs some fine tuning also will the redcat wing fit. Also will a 1/8th scale associated buggy wing fit on that wing mount. And then will the control arms fit on the buggy to make a track friendly associated truggy 😒 🤔 . Then finally everyone should look out, or the muggy could make a surprise return and show you all how it's done. Because if that happens I'm standing in line to buy one of the first of the legends to bring on the monster truggy game. Then I will buy an associated but if not I'm thinking the mt8 would be fun at the track with some real fine tuning and the proper running gear.
2024, tracking any vehicle requires a lot more than just 🛞🛞🛞🛞 Setting up the droop ( if possible) properly tuning the suspension, toe in, camber, diff fluids. It’s even deeper on the tire compound side😕 Great runs, however, it’s not a totally accurate assessment without some of the above mentioned mechanics being applied. 👍🏾
This is not aimed at someone trying to be serious. There is a large group out there who want to know if their basher is any good around a track, so they can show up and have fun. That is the intent here.
Literally perfect video. Thank you for sharing this.
Glad it was helpful.
Thanks for the kind words!
May not be a race truck but it looked like a lot of fun! 👍🏻🍻
That is right!
Nice, really cool to see it being raced
It was fun!
I say as long as it puts that smile on your face its good in my book
I like that mentality!
Cool RC and nice run on the track
Thanks!
@@RoadsideRC 😁👍
Good video bud nice footage 👍
Thanks!
Would love to see a monster truck class again.
I also brought my LMT along. It needs different tires, but it would be hilarious to have a monster truck class.
@@RoadsideRC I raced a tmaxx back in The day and it was a fun class. I'll race my Maxx anyway because it's fun.
Looks like you can race it haha looked like fun
It was fun!
Did you get a resolution to the weird wheels fixings issue, Troy ?
Not sure what you are talking about. Just the center caps? Those were just a decorative cap.
@@RoadsideRC the nut covers issue you talked about at 10.15 into the unboxing video

We are currently drifting at Music City RC - it is inside the Music City Indoor Karting in Nashville, TN.
I think we ALL know where this belongs lol Doing Back flips off jumps and BASHING... lol It was fun though Troy.. :)
Exactly! The track is not it's home.
Lol awesome video!
Thanks!
It still looked good going around the track though, Troy.
Agree - not great, but it did well!

What did you use for tires? I’ve been wanting some pin tires for my 1/10 scale monster trucks
These are 1/8 tires from Duratrax - the X-cons. They would be too big for a 1/10
Not Bad for a Kaiju! 🥸
Did you figure out how to get the wheels off?
The plastic caps are screwed on. I had to take a screwdriver and push the plastic cap counterclockwise.
Ain’t nothing wrong with pretending it’s a racer! Thought it did pretty decent. Bet it does better at being nasty!🙏🏼😝💥👊🏼
You got that right - better at being nasty! :)
yes u can race it..bring it to our outdoor track..we race everything ,,M

I am not sure if those parts will fit or not. Pretty confident the Kaiju EXT wing will fit - but not sure about the Associated parts.
