Let me take an example of zimbabwe. Cost of an egg is around 10c to 20c USD per egg
100 eggs cost you $10 USD to $20
Cost of incubation is $3 per crate of 30 eggs [10c per egg]
$10 per 100
Cost of 100 chicks buying eggs and incubation is $30
100 day old chicks cost 65c USD each which amount to$65 USD for 100 chicks
One can compare the costs from there
