Also in the band there was Vaggelis Papathanasiou who got the oscar for his music in Chariots of Fire in 1981, and also wrote the music for Blade runner, Conquest of paradise, Alexander and many many more.

Don't assume Nana does only Greek music though; she does everything from Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles, Dire Straits, to Joan Baez (including _with_ Joan Baez!, and _many_ others - Olivia Newton-John, Harry Belafonte, ...), to folk and pop from many genres. You'll usually find for any given tune, she's found words to it in English, French, and German, and probably Spanish too! Basically, definitely don't think she only does Greek. (Look out her friend Mimi [Mireille Mathieu] too.)

Growing up in Australia in the seventies, Demis Roussos was very popular and has always been one of my all-time favorite vocalists.
My dad discovered Nana Mouskouri in the 80s said hers was one of the most beautiful voices he had ever heard. I still remember his 8-track collection
