Have had this for years with my left shoulder rounded forward and right hip very weak. That 3rd exercise is the first one in a long time that feels like it might help. Thanks for posting.
Nice video...say if someone has been kneeling down on their right knee for say 15 years on and off due to the flooring work they do, which hip and glute would be the weakest? Its just when i jog on the treadmill half hour each day one leg feels longer than the other.. Much appreciated..
I'm not an expert, but I think it would be difficult to say without a physio examination... from my understanding, tight muscles is a sign of heavy use... so it's feasible your TFL / glute med are strong and are compensating for weakness elsewhere. Does you hip drop when you run? (Video it). If you're suffering injury as a result of these issues, two resource I'd recommend would be James's website (which has glute strengthening courses he'll sell you), or a book called Anatomy for Runners, which has descriptions on how to self-diagnose any issues.
00:45 isometric wall hold 3x30"-60"
02:40 unilateral drop
04:25 knee side plank 10x10" hold
Goddamn that 3rd exercise was amazing.
Thank you! I am having trouble with my hips again

Why did it take 3 years
Are these exercises meant to do unilaterally on the weaker side? Or on both sides? Thanks!
That first exercise sets my glutes on fire! I love it!!
Keep them coming 👍👍💪
Will do!! Thanks for the support, Chris 🙏
Wondering now if the pain I’m experiencing in my backside and hip is due to dropping my hip when I run. Will try these exercises 👍🏼
It might be a piriformis syndrome. Look at your hip internal rotation. If it is lacking it might be the cause.
@@BH_Restorative_fitnessHi, I do have piriformis injury which aggravates after a run and I do have a hip drop
Can you pls suggest sth?
Thank you so much 😊

Don't worry just kneel on the other knee. Will only take 15 years

I just get this problem also while walking so the exercise gonna work...?
Great video!
Generally speaking, are tight glute medius and TFL symptoms of this instability?
