Sad to hear the loss of your grandma, Jass! I also got psoriasis and 90% of my body were covered with the scaly patches and fortunately, I’m almost fully recovered. Here is what I did and hope it also works for you: 1. Fasting (I personally think it’s very helpful) 2. Adjust my diet to eat only gluten free foods, vegetables (but no nightshades vegetables) and fruits (only berries) 3. No dairy products, no sugar (processed) but only sugar free oat milk, almond milk. 4. One or two times Dead Sea sea salt bathing, 15 minutes each time and applied body lotion 5. Phototherapy 3 times a week (I know you’ve also tried that before) 6. Good sleep, very important. 7. Moderate Exercises every 8. Meditation in the morning to let me keep away from stresses.
Watching you got better gave me lot of confidence. Thank you for sharing your journey and i have mad respect for you your courage to open up. Thanks again
Starting skyrizi rather soon. Had an appointment with my dermatologist today and she is prescribing it. I live in the states and am hoping my insurance policy covers it. Been living with psoriasis for almost a decade. Thank you for the videos. Very informative and helpful. Much appreciated!
I have psoriasis on my scalp and body and I know getting told to do diets and all that sometimes can be frustrating but I’d like to share that I don’t drink or smoke but I completely removed Gluten, Sugar and red meat from my diet (like completely removed) and I’d say about 70% of my psoriasis is now disappearing. And I go for a run every single night for at least 30 mins. Now I’m not saying this will work for everyone but there’s no harm in giving it a go. Best of luck to everyone dealing with psoriasis.
Bro please tell me the diet I am suffering from psoriasis from 7 years please do me the favour how did u cured it I have it on my scalp eyebrow and beard area
My first dose of SKYRIZI is tomorrow. Before Skrizi, my Dermatologist prescribed a Non Steroidal Cream called VTAMA and it WORKED really fast, ON ME anyway, clearing my Psoriasis BUT it turned the Psoriasis patches a Dark color instead of its normal Pinkish color. The Derm said its a normal side effect for someone with a darker pigmentation. I am Southeast Asian. It is no longer flaking and itchy so I can deal with the Dark Scar until it fades.I am in the US and thank goodness my Pricey Insurance is covering it.
Bro haven’t seen you in forever so sorry to hear about your Nan it’s never easy to loose a family member but one your so close too hurts different you look good tho miss the days of aroma we had some great times much love my brother
Hey, Jass, I’ve noticed you haven’t been uploading much and I hope all is well. You’ve truly inspired me to get on a biologic and now my skin is entirely clear and my quality of life has improved tremendously. Hope to see an update from you in the near future, take care. 😊
Completely new to your Chanel. I’ve been taking humira for roughly 4 years it’s stopped working and I’m awaiting to switch to skyrizi. I’m also in the uk and feel very lucky to have this medication available. Thanks for the vidoes. Sorry to hear about your nan x
Yes switched to skyrizi I’ve just done loading doses my skin is completely clear.. I have a few joint pains legs and knees and lower back not sure if this is due to medication or not though
@dickson14 Thanks for the reply! I will be starting Skyrizi soon. Hopefully, this works out for me. May God bless you with the medicine, and hopefully, your pain goes away soon. Stay healthy!
Hey there, I just saw your comment and couldn't help but ask, I've just recently considered a systematic approach / treatment for my psoriasis and my dermatologist told me that there's a ''path'' that needs to be followed and that my first option would be cyclosporine for at least 6 months followed by methotrexate for some time before I even get considered/evaluated for biologics, as the costs for skyrizi are quite high and the NHS supposedly prioritizes cheaper treatments first before the patient makes it to the more expensive ones. I've done some researching and came to the conclusion that virtually any treatment/biologic besides skyrizi poses some risk of developing a form of cancer, did you ever have to clash with this type of situation ? How did your appointment with the dermatologist go and did they say anything similar to what I explained just now ? Thank you in advance ! Regards.
Hello mate- what's your current situation. Been on Stelara for 10 months- has kept my body relatively clear but my scalp has not improved but got worse. Next appointment with NHS in March so will ask to go onto something else. Scalp is the worst when its bad!
hey there, I was wondering if you could do an update? hope theres been only good news! I am about to start this treatment and I honestly cannot wait as being 21 it has really ruined my social life having psoriasis all over my body
Thank you for sharing, I’m really sorry about your grandmother passing away 🙏🏼 prayers for you and your family. I hope the Skyrizi helps you and I’m glad the liver is doing better. If it’s ok, may I ask if you have any side effects? I have psoriatic arthritis & I’m really struggling, I was just prescribed Skyrizi and I’m afraid but at the same time I’ve been very sick. Thank you for your time.
Hey Jeremy, thank you for the kind words. I personally haven't seen any side effects, it's a pretty targeted form of biologics. Of course with any immunosuppressive medication you are able to get sick easier and takes longer to get better but it's not a deal breaker. All my current health conditions are not linked to the psoriasis and are due to fault of my own whilst travelling doing all the things they told me not to do, but I got one life, don't know when I will ever travel with world again so I just did it lol
How are you ? I'm finally just just getting onto injections, ad. have to take 1 a week for first few weeks then 2 weeks after going forward. What meds are you on ATM? As been a while ? Thanks
Hello Jass, i have a question, what is the dose of your syringe, in the Netherlands the standard dose is 2 syringes of 75ml (total 150 ml) per 12 weeks. sincere condolences on the passing of your grandmother,
I have also just recently got prescribed skyrizi pen 150mg/ml 💉 abbz. Do u recommends. I will wait until I hear an answer please get ahold of me I just looked up information and you popped up
Yea it's not bad at all! It's called enstilar foam, it's the best steroid topical meds for psoriasis at the moment, not as taxing on the body but still can't over use it, I use it once every couple of day
