Great video. What does it mean when i have what feels like a dead spot in my throttle? Attempted a pretty big mud hole, 4wd diff lock, didn't make it. In high gear driving normally, I have that dead spot, non responsive throttle spot, maybe a half to 3/4 of an inch. Don't know how else to explain it. Stock '22 800xc
Looks like it's pretty easy to install the clutch kit, I have a couple of questions about it. I personally like the how the stock EBS works because we have a lot of mountains and hills here so the engine braking is nice. I've heard the reason why the belt is slipping with the OEM helix is because of the EBS, my question would be, if I were to purchase the clutch kit with EBS will that remove the issue? Thank you!

Hello, I have a 2024, 1000 touring, I want to put 30 wheels, and a double RJWC silencer, I would like to know if I can put tires of that size and when will the silencer be available, and if I need to change the clutch to change the flames? thank you
Correct me if im wrong. But as far as i see clutch kits improve performance by keeping the clutch in a lower gear longer. But im sure they increase engagement RPM and make harsh ??? . Its a V twin engine that produces good strong low down power. Making it rev to the sky via clutching i dont get! For me i want soft & low rev engage and then be able to use the natural ft/lb of the motor at low to medium revs.. are we going in opposite directions here!! Also confused.. how can a stiffer primary spring or kit do anything but increase engage RPM? Is the spring tuning so precise that its real soft 1500 to 1800rpm (smooth engage) then resists compression from there? I understand the natural science behind CVT and moving outside the narrow parameters is taking from 1 hand and giving to another in my opinion.🤷♂️ Waiting to be educated.. Great videos by the way..
It all depends on where the engine makes power and how the clutch is setup. Not all v twins are the same. Some produce power down low where some produce up high. Tuning a clutch there are many different ways to tune the clutch it all depends on the rider and their needs and how they need it set up. You can shoot for high rpm’s hitting the max HP range or you could shoot for the lower rpm max torque range. Or you can shoot for right in the middle me personally I like it right in the middle best of both worlds. All riders are different, all setups are different etc. a mud guy he needs those high RPMs for wheel speed. A trail guy he needs low RPMs and smooth engagement for better throttle control. Etc etc. many different ways to set something up.
@@R.N.GPerformance at idle.. my weights seem to have the better of the primary spring meaning I have 4mm of clutch not letting go, this is grabbing the belt and turning the secondary which makes gear selections almost impossible. When I kill the motor the 4mm slips away. I put a stiffer spring in and it fixed it but moved my initial engagement from 1600rpm to 2300rpm which is horrible. So if I change the weights can I get the engage down?? But then I'm just where I was before changing anything!!!
They packaged them up today we were waiting on the helix was supposed to be here last Wednesday but didn’t come until today. They will start shipping out tomorrow my friend. I know how that is for sure. Trust me lol.
I’m trying to get a clutch from yall, Uforce 1000 3 seat, 2” lift and 30” tires, I push it on trails but I don’t drive it like a RZR. I load it down with extra gas and overnight stuff. I work it and 1,500 miles a month is normal. What clutch you got?

have you seen any problems with the antifreeze going into the crank case on a 1000xl ??? mine did it this weekend. not sure if heat exchanger, or head gasket.... just curious.
Yes I have. It would be the gasket behind the clutch housing. We sell gasket sets. Www.rngoerformancr.net the root cause is the bolts holding the clutch housing to the engine block are usually loose. And the gasket behind it gos bad.
This is going the wrong way. The opening was nice, but totally not necessary. Our boy is earning money and has started spending on fluff and frills. We liked the old RNG better that just stood there and started talking immediately like a christmas rat in dirty clothes / rags, long hair and teeth pointing in more directions than a compass rose only because he had something really important he wanted to tell us and was eager to start. Soon the production will be super slick and there will be no more stuff that WE are interesting in hearing or stuff coming from his heart. I'm guessing we soon will be flooded with artificially prolonged episodes just because the "algorithm wants them to be like that" to earn more money and they will be sprinkled with VPN / ear buds / coffee / scottish lordship / etc / etc commercials wrapped around sponsored things we are told we need to buy? I'm guessing he will soon be hosting this channel in a business suit from his office while playing the sponsored content for us? RNG: You are not listening!!! Ohhh no. NONE of that stuff will happen my friend. I’m just super excited about this kit and wanted to show it off. I worked like extra hard on this video to capture how this kit is and do a proper installation video and be very clear about it. Don’t worry. Raggy old RNG is still here buddy.
I just installed a primary clutch kit from RNG in my uforce 800. Night and day difference no more jerkiness at all. Super impressed! Thanks Steve!
Let's just take a minute to appreciate the production value here. From just 2 years ago! 🤣 Keep it up man!
Thank you 🙏 appreciate that allot.
Thanks for showing this🙂👍 When you assembled the big one, isn’t there a small mark that has to line up? Thought i saw that in another video
Yw. As always I recommend marking all parts with a marker to make sure you put them back together the way they come off.

The non ebs helix will help with that and you’ll still have good engine breaking. The stock ebs helix yes it causes some belt slip

Nothing out there yet. We are working on bushings hope to have some availabil in a few months.

With the CV-Tech you had to clock the helux. Do you still have to clock the helux with the new Omni-Drive?
No
Does this mean the gen 3 RNG clutch kits will be shipping out soon? I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning. 😂
