I first tried rollinia when I worked as produce guy at Mana Foods, Maui, and we got a few in from a local farm. We cut into one right away, to try it. It was like creamy vanilla-tapioca custard. Amazing!
OMG rollinia is our favorite tropical fruit of all time, that's why we planted 20 trees on our property. They're babies now, but It's awesome that they grow true to seed and don't take too long to bear fruit :] so cool seeing how abundant those trees you got are. Is that where you live? That's heaven on earth!!
OffGridHawaii I live 950' my friend lives at 600' elevation. His property is more of a farm than a homestead concentrating on mass production of exotic fruits. With less rainfall and warmer temperatures his farm is at a great elevation for growing tropical fruit trees. Mahalo for watching
Rick C when I went to Thailand that's when I realized how much interesting fruit and vegetables grow on this beautiful planet. you could literally spend a lifetime trying all the edible fruits and vegetable most likely not getting to all of them. Mahalo for stopping by
the Anonna family has a big variety of species in Brazil as well as in central and all south america (probably).- the most common ones in my country are : fruta do conde , atemoia and araticum . Nice videos in this canal , congratulations !

Very interesting! I particularly enjoy the videos where you talk about the fruits and vegetables, as well as the land and ocean. Looking forward to your upcoming videos on the local plants. Thank you 😊
I would love getting all those seeds of exotic fruits from you and grow my own garden someday ! It's my dream to have a garden where I can grow just every fruit that I can !
It looks like a very small durian. Oh, the inside looks exactly like cherimoya! We live in a temperate region and cannot grow trees like these and rarely see such fruits in our stores. When we do they are obscenely expensive. I envy your abundance of them.
Jeremy Ewing Its not that hard to find especially for this particular specie of rollinia ( its called rollinia mucosa). You need the seeds to be fresh.Otther rollinias thogh are hard to find .
Very imformative! Just found you 1 video back... chocolate! Omg... can't stop watching! I pray you guts are ok with all the devastation happening now with the errupting volcano. God Bless & keep you ALL SAFE & SOUND.

How fast is the tree grow? I have a 7 inches air layer tree but it grow so so slow. How long will it takes to be 5 foot tall? Will you get fruit from that too? How long will you get fruit from seeds.
They are custard apple, we eat it when it’s a bit soft. Scoop the meat, put in cups, freeze. Come time for dessert, we add milk evap and we’re in heaven.
I buy it locally, except it is smooth skinned, curved, with no seeds, and has a different taste, with a different name. It tastes sort of like a kiwi, minus the tartness and pineapple/strawberry notes a kiwi has, with maybe a rice pudding texture and flavor added in. Locals here call it a banana, but the difference is probably from cultivation of strains. It has big leaves and doesn't grow to be too old.

hi Gabe, can you keep the Rollinia Tree Pruned , so that it doesent grow out of control in a semi smaller space?
I'm pretty sure you can. Most tropical plants love to be pruned and you can cut them off at the base and they'll still grow back.
