CHANNEL UPDATE IN COMMENTS
A brand new unintentional ASMR from ineedtosleepnow.com comes courtesy of the legendary Suzanne Ciani and her incredible ASMR-inducing voice. It was hard to find an old interview without any music or sound effects so I basically just edited together any moments of her speaking I could find together into one video. Hope you like it.

EDITS MADE: This video is a heavily edited mesh of 3 videos with Suzanne Ciani shoINGs people how to use a synthesizer. As she's often playing loud music, this video has many cuts as all the loud parts have been cut out. There is one small segment of very soft calming music at around 4:15 but all other sound effects and music are gone. Video contains ASMR sound effects, raindrops, and several soft spoken voices. Links to original videos below if you'd like to see full non-ASMR versions.

3 pieces of good news.
1. The channel has reached 30,000 Subscribers. Thanks to each and every one of you for subscribing, liking, commenting and making some excellent suggestions.
2. It looks like an agreement has been reached with RUclips to have the channel re-monetized. This may not last long but it's a positive development for the channel's future.
3. All of this means that I have this brand new video with Suzanne Ciani for you and many more coming soon.
Thanks again for your support. Let me know what you'd like to see next.
Maybe add a voice intro and text overlays during the audio so RUclips considers it altered enough to keep the monetization
I have a suggestion for you. Sigrid Rausing, the Swedish philanthropist, has a wonderfully calming voice. A good example is her interview on the BBC 4 radio show desert island discs.
There is a 1967 interview with Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey, the actors that played Romeo and Juliet, that is wonderful asmr
Thanks folks, I'll take a look (or listen).
What year is the video from please?
What a gentle goddess who has so much kid-like enthusiasm. She’s adorable.
She’s so perfect. Beautiful, talented, sounds amazing, loves synths.
The world needs audiobooks by Suzanne Ciani 😩...imagine she creates audiobooks for crocheting , your wearing crochet pants that you made yourself for Hanukah, Ramadan and Christmas like a Boss . AI would melt trying to recreate her voice.
I love her clear explanation of overtones and timbre.
His haircut is the stuff of legends.
It's space age.
Only a man supremely confident and assured of his own self worth could have pulled that off.......or an idiot
He reminds me of my math teacher in 8th grade back in 1999
It’s what happens when a page boy haircut is sculpted over centuries by neon green sound waves.
That's not a haircut, those are old school Beats headphones
I love her calm soothing voice, and she is very attractive.
Everybody loves Suzanne Ciani! Such a beautiful talented person. Yeah she was the original ASMR creator.
What a silky, alluring voice...
IKR? Her voice alone is pure ASMR.
A female voice in a pinball machine? What a time to be alive!
I used to listen to her music back in the 90s. I'd never heard her voice though - it's so perfect for ASMR!
Love the way she loves what she do
"That's chicken fry" *other woman tries to plan her escape*.
ROFLMAO!
After falling down a YT rabbit hole from here , found this gem , must share
- Suzanne Ciani - “Paris 1971”

I’m not gonna hurt ya..
She is the most Shelly Duvall person I’ve ever seen who isn’t Shelly Duvall
They should have played this in my Physics of Sound class. Beautiful!
Found this video while literally just looking for Suzanne Ciani interviews to use as ASMR. Her voice is perfect.
This felt very sapphic
I"ve listened to Ms. Ciani for over 20 years now...would have loved to have known this part of her!
She’s so cool. Also she’s so high
Unintentionally fascinating and well-explained too
Love this!
This is fantastic
Uma Thurman could play her in a biopic.
shes so amazing n smart 😵💫 she explained everything so well
Cute, she types at the same pace and impact as she would need to on a typewriter 🤔🤩
She's the best
Nice :D Love it! Hopped over from Facebook~
Vern is rocking that comb-over!
The ending is eerily correct
She's the American equlivalent of the UK's Delia Derbyshire
For the pinball game segment I kept wondering if she was making sounds for Pinbot. Nope, it was Xenon.
That’s the biggest combover I’ve ever seen
her haircut is the stuff of dream's ! 🥰
Beautiful voice
0:30 Vulfpeck Smile Meditation
Her hair is so shiny
Loving the hair doo Vern.
2:20 that hair man 🥸🤣
She's the American 'Whispering' Bob Harris.
Groovy man.
I remember that section on 321 Contact!
I reckon old mate is fully baked
2:36
She's applausing because she touched a snare
Sounds like the Bladerunner soundtrack
She did the music for Tron
@@jackjones4248 No, that was Wendy Carlos. Same era, though.
3-2-1 Contact
I wonder if she did the movie trailer effects for Soylant Green movie
I used to run home to watch 3-2-1 Contact.
Could you maybe show the episode where they talk to the sound guy for KISS? That was kind of relaxing as well. (Just don't show the first part even though "King of the Nighttime World" totally rocks and Trini was so hot back then. Her voice was hypnotic.)
Bill Williams That was an awesome show! I haven’t thought about 321contact in sooooo long! I remember the song. Memories. ✌🏻☺️
Omggggggggggggggggggggggggg the guys hair!!! Hahahahaahah
Commentator in the last section is Peter Ustinov!
She looks like someone who appreciates good quality weed.
"what is sound anyway?" my girl is so out of the loop goddamn
I totally thought ASMR is a very new concept like this decade or somethin. I am very surprised!
@Kathy I too experienced ASMR when i was a child in the 90`s. I remember that watching someone drawing something slowly, put me in state of deep relaxation.
The term ASMR was created in 2010 by RUclipsr Jennifer Allen. We finally had a name for this sensation. 😁
Narration by Peter Ustinov.
Now that was a man I could listen to all day!
i've played a lot of games of Xenon
Holy combover Batman!
Have you ever checked out Maharishi Mahesh Yogi? I have been using his stuff from the 60's and 70's(when he had hair) as asmr videos for years. Might be worth a look for your channel.
2:20
If you ever see me wearing that hair, kill me please
This video is introduced at the beginning my Chelsea Peretti.
Where is Suzanne Ciani now?
looked it up, said she lives in Indiana with her husband. I'd assume she's retired now. She's 73.
not retired, still performing shows with strange buchlas modules
These comments crack me up
2:09 tho
I met a woman like her 25 odd years ago...all chilled and into music and vibes ,equipment etc... where do these women come from?? Fucking Orion???
The studio room scenes....wasn't she in the shining. 😉
Oh yes, now that you mentioned it
That sound guy’s hairdo
3:45 🤭
Prophet 😮
was he in far out space nuts ? 😂
Sometimes I feel like I should have been born in a different era. People these days are so full of anxiety and have no patience for anyting. Those days seem like they were a lot more laid-back and people were more comfortable in their own skin.
Old Soul people have anxiety today and people had anxiety then. it’s just that you don’t show the bad parts on camera :/ I understand what you’re saying, it’s just that films often make things seem more idealistic than they really are.
Creative Pear it's actually something Studies have shown that rates of depression and anxiety amongst people under the age of 40 has skyrocketed in the past few decades and large part due to social media and lack of genuine relationships, debt from college, not being able to find a job in their desired career path, an overall major rise in the cost of living set alongside what is basically a stagnant earning wage, amongst a plethora of other things people never had to deal with before. So I'm not disagreeing that all that stuff has been around for a while but the frequency at which you see it in people who probably should be happy and healthy at a young age are suffering from a lot of things they really shouldn't be going through.
@@oldsoul7792 yeah, that's definitely true :) every generation, though, has had their own challenges. During the 70s and 80s, for example, there was this massive influx in serial killings... contributing to massive paranoia, and rightfully so. The Cold War was also in full swing, and so was the AIDS epidemic, which also contributed to anti-LGBTQ sentiment. But I do see what you mean, today's generation does face many problems... but if you went back in time, you might just swap out one set of obstacles for another, sadly enough :(
@@oldsoul7792 70s and 80s music is THE BEST, though
They just hid it better
I can't be the only one who thought she looks like Dora
if she started lifting she'd be muscular as hell.
Can someone explain why younger people in the 1970s and early 80s spoke in that weird style/tone?
You can hear it in any movie or interview from that time.
It's just weird.
Edit: they all sound like they're on acid.
Or qualudes
lockandloadlikehell because they are
Have no clue what you mean, and I lived through that era. 😂
Oceanic/Atlantic accent
Suzanne has the perfect, feminine speech and tone. I have no idea what you are talking about.
Because it was all groovy back then, baby!
Brian Eno right? 😉
A female voice with grunts and groans...this is the creation of porn. You learn something new everyday.
damn, what a babe
She’s fried lol and is it just me or did people always talk way closer back in like the 70s?
You didn't have to add the word "like"
Yeah bro like totally talk like way like closer like in the 70s. Have you always talked like a girl from like Clueless?
I do believe he was mocking the hippie lingo.
They did! People were more connected back in those days. Also, don’t know what everyone else is bitching about.
@@oldsoul7792
You're not the god damn brightest thing on two legs, are you, junior?
What year was this?
I'm guessing 1970
Delboy Kinobi 1975-76.
their was a sexual chemistry I picked up, I picked up on this as I'm the biggest W⚓ in the world 🐖💨
Well done.
Lol
"double you anchor"
Women's Anchor?
Modern women think that acting masculine is the path to success. It is not.
Suzanne is a perfect example of a strong, intelligent, creative, successful, beautiful FEMININE woman. She has it all.
As an American, I sincerely miss women like this. They are extinct in America.
However women feel like acting is inherently feminine, because they're women. And there are a TON of successful 'masculine' women. It's no wonder you miss women....it sounds like you repel them.
I agree but if there are women who gain happiness from having a more masculine personality then more power to them. Maybe it's just a stop on their years-long path to knowing and finding their true self. Or maybe they are just a little different and masculine or whatever. Whatever makes folks happy I'm all for it. As long as it isn't hurting anyone else we're taking advantage... This world's a burning ship whole the last few decades so whatever brings happiness and contempt of someone's life then more power to them
When woman were sweet and slender and the music they made was beautiful
ASMR? Ain't it chief
Groovy
