Backstory...The band played a number of songs in a very different way at this gig, versions which I had not witnessed before (or since). They all looked like they had a real blast and enjoyed doing it. Mike explained that they usually mess around with songs at the soundcheck and Aongus said "Why don't we perform them like this tonight?" so that's why some are very different. Mike also added "If you don't like these versions and want your money back, go and see him!" (points to Aongus).
This got a loud cheer and a loud laugh....Enjoy!
