Stage 3 in VXR tuning is the same mods as what most markets call stage 2. I get what you mean though, some cars will gain 50-60hp with little to no modifications but I guess it depends what you like / want in a car.
@@actuning I’ve done k&n and res delete on mine and was just going to stage 1 but do you reckon you would notice much difference and would be worth the money to do just stage 1 or no?
@@actuning So my vxr with downpipe + custom program put out 285 whp on the dynojet ( in the hot weather of Cyprus 38°c😅) For our cars means around 335hp on the engine?
@@andreasonoufriou6931 approximately but you are contending with very hot weather compared to here. The most accurate way to get a crank figure is to run on a dyno that calculates on coast down like this dyno or like our new one (maha msr500)
@ac tuning I have noticed on my Astra J VXR when upshifting quickly, my revs dont drop quick enough and stay level for a few seconds before rising again... any idea what that could be off the top of your head?
@@charlie147111 well, to my understanding, I was just shifting far too quickly. if i gave it like a 0.3 seconds grace, it would still deliver good power and accelaration. i was trying to shift it like its a human DSG LOOOL too fast for the revs to drop
@@The4LCarMan i have the same Problem mate, and some times actually get clutch slip If I boost to quickly! Great cars but very expensive to time for such little gains
Sounds lethal! Wouldn’t wanna pull up next to that I won’t lie
It goes very well 😎
Why is it, that have to go stage 2/3 just to get 50/60 bhp gains on these cars? I have one and seems a lot of money for sake of so
Little gains

@@Lloyd-ls7vf definitely worth going stage 1
@@actuning ok thanks for the advice 👍🏼👍🏼

@AC tuning Great result.. Do you know the whp of 350 hp on the vxr?
Thank you, from memory around 290-300whp but I would have to check

Not an issue I have seen before I'm afraid buddy

Bring that VXR to the club and join the meets 😎👍
We will have to get out and do some more events next year as the only thing we have done this year was a trip to the Nurburgring last month.
Its possible file service for one astra j opc?
Send an email to info@autoculturetuning.co.uk
i have the same modifications (but RSS intake) and stage 2, i pulled 333bhp on dyno
Solid figures for a stage 2 tune but with the same mods there should be a little more in it 😎
How do you guys go on with the clutch & flywheel on these cars... can they take it?
@@gsx-phantom645 As far as we are aware this car has a stock clutch fitted. We had no issues with clutch slip.
@@actuning thanks, I suppose time will tell.
It will indeed
