I wonder if Battersea will ever find anyone as charismatic as Paul to help again. Big shoes to fill. He helped so many dogs to find homes.

Absolutely bawled my eyes out over Noodle the poodle. Barely got a chance to live, poor little thing! How anyone could just dump her is beyond me! Look after her up there, Paul!
And sooo happy for Marcel. What a beautiful, happy dog! ❤

Love these videos going out on a day trip with Paul. And love when one of the dogs puts on the tv remote and they all For The Love Of Dogs. That's one way to see their daddy when he's at the Battersea Shelter
    Paul was a dear one.
I love Honey the Alaskan Malamute.
Aww poor Noodles. I truly despise abusive people who just dump animals. From a fan across the pond.
    I love Marcel.

I think honey would have been better off with a younger more active family. These people are quite elderly and malamutes are highly strung freight dogs. She needs to keep the weight off and something like cani cross would be awesome for her.

Older people often walk more. Especially retired people. Malamutes are good family dogs, unlike huskies they pulled solo shorter hauls and were security and nannies for the family too.

Quite elderly! They are hardly frail and using walkers. As Patsy Sadowski said retired people walk more because they have time to do so than a young family.

You've done nothing for this little dog Noodles. Did they do an MRI, CT scan, any physical therapy, electrical stimulation, massage, hydrotherapy......I've seen no treatment at all. " This is for the best." That's all they can say...for whose best,
not Noodles, they didn't give that little dog a chance.

Maybe they did and they just didn't show it in the video some stuff u just can't show u can't just assume stuff

The cost would be enormous for little, if any, improvement on her quality of life. Meanwhile, they can use what money they do have to rescue, treat, and re-home other dogs. Part of owning pets is the responsibility to give them quality of life and to know when you need to let them go.

@ Susan Murrell they probably did do all that but they didn't add it in the show they probably have hours of unused footage. Sadly sometimes prolonging treatment and life isn't always for the best if they're suffering. My mum had to have our cat put to sleep recently due to heart problems although they could have treated her to prolong her life they couldn't do a lot to treat the pain of the condition her heart was effectively failing and the condition didn't show any symptons until it was too late. Our vets did everything they could including scans, X-ray's and blood tests and within 3 hours they found the problem and advised us to put her to sleep and we agreed rather than let her suffer anymore. No vet will put a healthy animal to sleep and even if they have health issues if they're treatable vets will do it rather than put to sleep. But sadly sometimes treatment doesn't always work in some cases

Susan your suggesting treating the symptoms but not whats causing them. The muscular problems are steming from the issues in the cerebellum section of the brain. Unless you mend that anything else you did would be likely to be at best a short term solution, at worst have no effect at all and put the dog under stress for no reason.

    • @thoraneh7365

More treatment isnt nessecarily the best treatment. It would have prolonged this little dogs suffering. Living in a crate with a horrible headache and not being able to walk is no life for a dog. Im sure the vets at battersea know more about it than our resident neurologist on youtube.
