    YAY! An all seed bead bracelet! Love the look, love the colors. Thank you for a back to "basic beads" project. I am really loving these mixed with the "new bead" videos.

    I really like the multi color pattern. I made a similar bracelet many years ago but used only one color. I like the way you started yours. I believe I sewed the ends of my beads in a circle (it was a PITA). I did 9 strands and made a 3 way braid instead. I also made a matching necklace, which was a huge hit with my friends, who all ordered a set. 🙄😁

    Love the colors you used in this design. Braiding the strands makes it much more interesting than not braided. More texture. TFS!

    So it was approximately 8:15am as I was watching this video I had just got off of work and decided on ice cream for breakfast because why not... so I've got the video playing on my phone on the counter. I swear I thought there was something in my ice cream I was trying to scoop up. Nope just the thread end Ally was working with. Apparently it's about bed time for me. After I go start this project it looks like fun.

    I ran out of thread and I knew you were going to also so I was waiting to see how you connected more but instead you cut away and did it off camera because you come back and clearly magically have enough to finish it. However, I am brand new at this so now I am going to have to go find some other video where someone has this issue and explains what I need to do. So, thank you for THAT.

      Hello there! Here is a great video that shows how to add more thread to bead weaving projects! www.potomacbeads.com/how-to/better-beader/PBBE15

    As always I love your tutorials. Can you mention what thread you are using in each project and size of needle? It would help us newbies.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Alison, for most of my projects, I use Wildfire 0.006" thread and size 10 needles. Sometimes I might need to swap over to a size 12 needle if I have to make several passes through the 15/0s. I prefer to use the green thread because it disappears into the shadows more easily.

    Allie, it will take me a week to make this….probably, 😂…. Prayerfully not. You are an AMAZING designer. I am just so fascinated by this design! So beautiful! Question Allie: How many beads would I use to make an 8 inch wrist bracelet?Thank you! I am new to beadwork but definitely going to try this one! ❤️❤️

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  2 года назад

      The materials list is for a 7 1/2 inch wrist

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  2 года назад

      You could add another gram to each of the beads and you will have extra for 8 inches

    I made this bracelet but have trouble with it folding up at the clasp. The silver base isn’t stiff enough to maintain its form.

  • @viviandibrell849

    How much Wildfire should I start with? I don't want to have to add thread. I am thinking 4 5- yards.
