Class 374 Eurostars at Ashford International

  • Class 374s are an EMU that is to replace class 373s, however some 373s were refurbished to look like 374s
    During recent engineering works at Ashford International were to allow the 374s into Ashford, because for many years 374s have only passed Ashford on the Flyover

    Great video! So many people disagree with me on this, but I think the 374 is a beautiful train! Also I could’ve sworn I was looking at pictures of Stratford International or another station on google maps and found one of your pictures there, was certainly unexpected but ‘twas a good surprise! Keep up the good work, also I subbed.

      I think both 374 and 373s are nice trains, although in my opinion I prefer the 373

      I love the 373s and the 374s a little bit. ( especially the classic 373 even though they are not in service.)

    excellent shot was this today I see they are not 2 metres apart on platform 4

      This was actually a few months ago, first two clips was about a week after Christmas, 2nd two was when the thumper came down here

    Why do they start slow going out of the platform?

      Speed limit is about 25MPH at Ashford International, and the 374s are new to Ashford

      + with the KVB, "If, when approaching a colour light stop signal displaying a DANGER aspect you see the signal change to display a “Proceed” aspect, you must not resume normal speed until you have passed the signal concerned." (source: sectional appendix)
