Education is important, for example today I took my best friend on range for the first time and she had a blast. We spent first 30 min. with safety rules, functions of gun, loading, grip, posture, sights, that kind of stuff and like hour of shooting. Man she is better shot than I'm and smile on her face was priceless. If you are a gun owner the least thing you can do for our cause is to spread knowledge and love for firearms among others because those people will never support gun grabbing politicians. Warrior Poet always makes me think of the Samurai. To the Samurai the poet aspect was a lot more important than the warrior aspect including the character and honor of a man. Today we tend to lean towards the warrior aspect more. The man who has not experienced war is quick to seek war but the man who has experienced war is ready for war but does everything possible to avoid it. Men are to be gentle as lambs but ready to be fierce as lions.
I love that you mentioned how great Georgia's gun situation is, and as a fellow Georgian I do have one big complaint. In the great state of Georgia and her proud gun freedoms unless your a land owner outside of city limits there is no where to shoot. There are no public ranges south of Macon. I have a family farm in which I can pew-pew, but it's hard to get people into guns if they can't go shoot.
OMG THANK YOU, I hate these shitty indoor ranges. strict 25 yard ranges with no opportunity to actually train. it sucks. Would love to go to an outdoor range with some more mobility and variety for training.

Something you should consider doing a video for (you may have already in your years and years of videos I haven’t seen) is a top 5 guns for those with disabilities. My good friend was born with one hand, and is wanting to purchase a handgun with all the unrest that is going on currently. I think a video breaking down what would work well for individuals with disabilities would be an awesome video that could help a lot of people. The 2nd amendment is not restricted to those with two hands! God bless

What kind of training for pistol or rifle could they do for people with handicaps? I suffered 2 strokes and the second left me with my right side almost unusable. So I'm curious what kind of training they would do for scenarios like that. Coming from a Navy background my firearms training was all self taught too.

Community I need help via some type of information. When I was 18 I made an idiotic mistake (robbery) , went to prison for two years. Since I've been home 2014 I've been straight, working and taking care of the family I made. I'm trying to get my full rights as an American citizen restored. That's to president Trump I can vote, but I'm not fully restored until I can legally protect my household. And advice or concerns I'll answer any questions if you can help

I give them a dry-fire lesson and review all safety protocols first (duh), and then we go to the range and have fun. You'd be surprised how, even an anti-2A person will start to see things differently after that "gateway" experience!

I had a small class with John a couple years ago at the USCCA convention in Pittsburgh Ohio. Good class...great time.
