    I go over how to add tags to footage in premiere pro cc. I also go over how to make a search bin for those newly tagged pieces of footage.

    Can you tag markers? I have long takes of interview footage and would need to tag cuts from it.

    Very useful. However, after having put tags in each clip in creating a Premiere projet just for that, I created a new project and imported some of the same clips, and I lost the Tag names. How to make the Tag Metadata colum appear by default in any new project and how to key these tags permanently for each file when using them in other projects ?

    Thanks! Is there a way to do advanced sorting in the search? ie filter for ONLY tags, not clips that have the same word in the name?

    hi, this is so helpful, thank you, but i got a problem when i am doing this, i add a tag as you did on this video, but i can not search all of the footage. for example, i added "fashion" tag on five different footages, but when i search "fashion", it only show 2, do you know which part i did wrong(? thank you so much.

    I work with hundreds of clips. Can I tag multiple clips with the same name at the same time?

      Yes. It looks like that in CC 2020 tags have been renamed to keywords?

    Hi, this is exactly what I have needed. Is it possible to get the written tutorial? The link doesn't seem to be working today. Thank you!

    I want this to work so much. But it just doesn't, it's so buggy and random, despite being a function in PP for over three years. Also multicam clips do not show up in search bins. You'd think Adobe would sort it. Tearing my hair out on a large project

    This is nice and all but this is some hacked together way of putting tags on clips. Premiere Pro should actually support a real tagging system so you can select multiple clips and tag them rather and select from a list of tags to add rather than typing them all in manually every time.

    Hi, thanks. Can multiple bits be tagged WITHIN an individual clip, i.e just a portion of a longer clip?

      subclip?

    • @bl4ck1911
      @bl4ck1911 4 года назад

      use markers and make it a long marker spliting it with alt key and naming portions of your clip however you like

      hey, did you find a better solution to this without going for subclip or long markers ?

    Does the metadata get stored on the actual video file or only inside Premiere Pro?

    • @AdobeMastersOfficial
      @AdobeMastersOfficial  5 лет назад

      The metadata is stored only within the Adobe Suite. What I mean by this is if you open it in another Adobe software, that metadata will still be there. However, any other program it won't be recognized.

      @@AdobeMastersOfficial does it matter whether you title it tags or keywords, such as what Bridge and Photoshop use?

  • @SiHargreaves

    This works so much better in Final Cut Pro. It's actually built in and not a work around
