Everyone should be entitled to their own artistic interpretation of the characters… for example, I always imagine Odysseus being shorter than Circe. Because I just imagine that Odysseus is the shortest out of any character that appears in Epic. I think it’s funny.
I also genuinely prefer Circe being shorter. I think character designs should communicate something about the characters themselves, and Circe being physically smaller than Odysseus implies a kind of vulnerability which sets her apart from the previous sagas’ antagonists. She’s not ruthless like Polyphemus or Poseidon, even if she presents herself as such to protect her nymphs. Also your take on Circe is just a lot prettier than most if I’m being honest lol
@@leonglitch Ruthless means showing no pity or compassion to others. She showed pity and compassion. She cannot, by definition, be ruthless. She’s quick to use her magic against any perceived threat, but she does so for the sake of her nymphs. Hell, the only reason Odysseus manages to rescue his men is the fact that she doesn’t actually kill them. By all accounts, she is worlds apart from the likes of Poseidon and does not embody ruthlessness in either the way he presents it or its literal definition.
@@MCWaxC I mean she can BE ruthless but I guess you mean always ruthless. If hat's what you mean then I'd argue polyphemus shouldn't be there either. Also I'm pretty sure epic uses the word ruthlessness a bit differently than it's typical definition so maybe you should use another word.
Not Just That But Its Literally Your Design, You Specific Made It So Circe Was Shorter And Its Your Interpretation. Nobody Else Gets That Final Say In The Designs
People are really upset with your circe, but i love all the different designs including yours. If i did a version of her, i wonder have he being able to shapeshift where shes smaller for the men and bigger for ody after he tells her about draining her power. But people need to chill and let people have fun.
Bro, the best representation of Poseidon I've seen makes him look like Penguinz0/Critikal, I think it's ok for Circe (who has magic and can shape-shift) to be shorter than Odysseus for the sake of scene cohesion. Don't worry about it.
Tbh I liked that circe was shorter bc you almost exclusively see powerful or intimidating women be portrayed as Tall, you rarely see someone you'd just bump into on the street
I have a question! On the most recent livestream you showed us a character with a golden apple, is that character Eris? The Goddess of Strife and Discord? Because her symbol is the Golden Apple of Discord!

Circe is ruthless though.
@@leonglitch Not really. If she were truly ruthless, she wouldn’t have helped Odysseus and his crew.
@@MCWaxC I mean she was not being ruthless at that moment but that doesn't mean she isn't ruthless.

I stand for a short Queen
Thank you!
I love how you designed her. This is definitely one of my favorite Epic the musical animatics!
Okay but Circe being taller than od in this shot is kinda hilarious
It's wild that you even have to justify your *own* interpretation and design. Great job! I think your animatics are off the charts!!
THE ONE WITH ODY AND TALL CIRCE THO HAHAHAHAHA

I love every aspect of your animatic PERFECTION

Gods can change their size and age in my opinion, so she could have changed size after that scene.

LMAO I DIDN'T EXPECT THE VERSION OF CIRCE BEING TALLER IT LOOKS SO SILLY
It does look a bit weird with her being taller than him lol i like all of the animations ive seen from you. The Profit song was amazing
Thank you so much! Working hard so I can get the next one out soon!
@@ns2dstudios excited to see it when you're done 😊
