What’s the difference between using the long tapered carbide bit vs something like T. rex bit? Besides the material of the bit of course… love your videos!!
The T-Red bit is designed for soft gel tip removal whereas the Safety Smooth Top Tapered Barrel is best for gel! Personal preference is also a key factor.
It depends on how it's being operated. If you lightly touch the skin it likely will not do anything but it also depends on your pressure and control of the tools.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with that if that's what you feel comfortable with! Practice increasing your speed (slowly), and you'll start seeing results. You got this!
Aww wanted to see the removal with the fine bit and glide oil
I wanted to see that too 🫤
We'll have another video for that! 😊
Me too. 😥
Yes me too
Me, too! Was this video made? 😅
I still see the line where the product was. It supposed to look like that? No hate at all, I'm learnin about structure mani and removal.
no worries! yes we leave a little product left over after we use our carbide, then go on with a diamond bit to smooth the remaining product🤩
I would love to see how you did the next step of removing the rest with oil and your e-file!!!
I want to see the final removal with the fine bit and glide oil, pleas 😊
New subscriber! 🤗 this video was AMAZING! Love your vibe and how well you explained the removal!!!!! Thank you! ❤️
Thanks for subscribing! I appreciate you!
What speed would you use the fine diamond barrel at with the glide oil?
I loved this video, I would love to see what bits you use to finish file builder gel
We'll have to post a video of that soon! I'm a fan of using a fine grit diamond barrel and glide efile oil to create a smooth finish.
😮 I didn’t know about carbide for lefties, thank you!
you're so welcome! you can see all lefty bits here:ericasata.com/collections/carbide-bits?filter.p.m.custom.more_filters=Left-Handed&sort_by=manual
I just ordered a couple sets of bits. So excited! I couldn’t afford the holder lol. Do you have a suggestion as to where to keep ‘em?
Yay exciting! Can't wait to hear how you like them. An economic way to store them is in the slim bit case!
@@EricasNails that wb smart. Lol

Hi was this a medium or coarse bit? The first one you used. Thanks!
Medium!
@@EricasNails TY! ❤️
Which bits were used during this removal?
Links are in the caption!
Did you guys stop selling the MT-30 cause I never see it on the website anymore.
We did unfortunately, but we now sell the medicool pro power 35k portable! 🙌
hi! what speed for the diamond barrel removal
Hey there! The crosscut barrel is 10,000-20,000 RPMs 🙌
Which gel line did you use for the structured mani?
Great info!
We appreciate it, thank you! 🥰🙌
LOVE ERICAS!
Thank you!! 🥰❤️
What bits do you recommend to remove acrylic in that time frame ? Thanks.
I'd recommend the carbide barrel to remove acrylic. It's here online: ericasata.com/collections/carbide-bits/products/large-barrel
Would that removal bit hurt the skin if I accidentally let it touch the skin?
It depends on how it's being operated. If you lightly touch the skin it likely will not do anything but it also depends on your pressure and control of the tools.
so the gel is a soak of gel if you are using acetone? Do You have a video for the glide oil?
Acetone can be used to soak off the remaining base gel 🙌 And a short Instagram video on glide oil may be found here 👉 instagram.com/tv/CB3v1nsAqy3/?
Would the t-rex bit also be appropriate for removing a structured mani?
The T-Rex is designed for soft gel tip removal, so it won't be as efficient. 👌
What gel brand/type of product was on the nails? Soak off or hard?
We used hard gel for the video 🙌
Is the barrel bit used with the glide oil fine or very fine?
fine grit!
10mins the same for Gel X?
Yes! Whichever tool you prefer- the goal is to remove product in under 10 min.
New subscribers! 👌👌🥰
It takes me so long to get product off like 45 mins!!
There's absolutely nothing wrong with that if that's what you feel comfortable with! Practice increasing your speed (slowly), and you'll start seeing results. You got this!
What grit is this bit?
Hi there! We used medium grit for the safety smooth top tapered barrel 🙌
❤❤❤
Structure gel? U mean gel polish or hard gel???
Structure gel can be used in as a soft and hard gel
