I just bought the Beretta 92x Perf and tried it at the range today. My comment at the end was that "it shoots like butter". Fantastic trigger, the weight helps with accuracy, and it's a beautiful piece of machinery.
Mr. Outlaw, another GREAT video. THANK YOU !! I own a Sig 1911 STX and a CZ TSO, and because I don't have a "steady" hand, the excellent single action triggers and outstanding barrels (plus overall fit-n-finish) allow me to actually hit the side of a barn. Please keep up the awesome content, God bless and stay safe.
Took my Canik TP9sfx out yesterday and was thinking that I couldn't miss. Then today I find out that it achieved "Honorable Mention" status from the Honest Outlaw! Nice! I'll take it.
Ive been very impressed with mine as well... after like 1000rds the trigger got even crisper(or its all in my head lol). the thing is a tack driver tho
@HEMI 5.7 AWD PURSUIT I think it's a bit better than the 1911 to be honest. Better built too, if not mistaken it is defined by an aerospace manufacturer.
The Walther PPQ rides on my hip 16 of the 24 hrs in the day. I’m a big guy, so I have the luxury of carrying a large frame pistol. Of all the pistols I have ever owned, it is clearly my favorite. At around $800 it is just affordable. The pre milled slide for an RMR is icing on the cake. I added a light and made my own holster. Life is good...... God bless the USA!
Fast4SloW 717 I bought mine from sportsman guide. If you are a member, you can make 4 equal payments. They ship the pistol immediately too. Makes it easier to own a more pricey weapon.
11:17 I'm so happy you mentioned the TP9SFx! I just ordered the whiteout version of this pistol the other day and was a little anxious thinking that maybe I should've gone with something else. But since you put it in your honorable mentions list I feel more confident in purchasing it as the first pistol I'll ever own.
I have 1250 rounds through mine without a single issue. The first 800 rounds were with cheap 115g range ammo and it ate the whole time. The only problem I have had was getting holsters made for it when it has attachments. (it comes with an OWB holster). If you don’t already have it, you’ll be happy with your pistol. It’s an absolutely amazing tool for the price.
@@daveintransit7592 Yeah I picked it up yesterday. Didn't end up going with the whiteout version, but I did get the Canik TP9SFX with a Vortex Venom red dot. I've yet to fire it though. I'll be taking it to a range here within another week or two. Can't wait.
The sfx is an AMAZING first gun! Especially with a red dot. I started out with an sfx and upgraded to a shadow 2… I still have, carry, and love the hell out of both of them. Great for competition and carry if you can handle the size
As a gunsmith I gotta agree with you on this list. I’d like to see CZ at the top but from my experience with both the 1911 platform and CZ’s you just can’t outshoot the classic. Great job Outlaw.
I really like your reviews. I especially enjoyed this one, having recently acquired a CZ-75 SP01 (safety not tactical-better trigger) and a Springfield Range Officer Elite Champion 1911. While I am not able to own the big $$ guns on your list, having 2 close relatives of your top 2 choices vindicates what I already know. There is no room for compromise when you want an accurate and reliable handgun. Keep up your good work!
I have several CZs, an Italian Beretta 92FS stainless made in early 90s, those are all my go to guns and all of them are accurate for sure. But about three months ago I was reading about your honorable mention, the Canik TP9SFX and decided to order one. Paid $459 + tax and background check for it. I honestly think it is the most accurate handgun, including my revolvers, etc. ANY HANDGUN I OWN. My friend shot it and he shoots a few times a week on his farm and he was so impressed he had to buy one and he got the one pre mounted with the Vortex red dot and we were banging 8" round steel plate at approximately 70 yards almost every shot just from leaning across the truck hood. Definitely impressed. Will probably end up with a red dot on mine also.
On their first date, the future Mrs. Outlaw asked, "Is that a sniper rifle in your waistband, or are you just happy to see me?" Boy, was she surprised.

Hey I was looking at a shop. Can you help me out? I saw a ppq Q5 match for 1600, there’s one for 1400 and one for like 700. Whats with the price difference ??
@@iSurrenderOhGod The more expensive ones are probably the steel frame versions that come out not to long ago, the other is probably the polymer frame. The steel frame makes it more solid and heavier, better for recoil. I have no problems with my polymer one. 700-900 is about correct for a polymer Q5 Match.
Great video as always. I have shot these guns and owned both the P210 (American made) and a custom CZ. The Sig P210 was accurate but I got rid of it because my CZ, the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Target II, is far superior in every way, and it has the best custom trigger I have ever used--nothing else like it. It is a fine example craftsmanship. I should add that I own a Tanfoglio Witness with only a very little bit of custom work on it, but it shoots accurately, even with standard sites. Some of the Tanfoglio are just amazing. Again, love the video.
I heard about the CZ from a comic book. Friends who shot it say it has better balance and "feels" lighter than comparable guns. I have always wanted a 1911 anyway, so, this makes me even more likely to buy one.
For those who believe "accuracy is in the hands of the shooter", spend a few hours watching 1911 gunsmithing videos or add on top some sniper rifle accuracy mod videos and you'll have a general idea of the core factors that determine a gun's accuracy, as well as some before and after on how a gun get more accurate after some modifications. It goes without saying that the shooter's skills are a factor, but in no way does the pistol's inherent accuracy not part of the equation, especially at a professional level.
I was pleased to see a very practical list. $1000 is not unreasonable to me for a good handgun, so I didn't find any of these examples outrageous in cost. Thanks!
I agree...I've used the Beretta 92 for a long time and we both made competitions together...I also used a 1911 Colt and I've shot something at 100 meters and it took down that running target....both the 1911 and 92 are very accurate... am looking forward to have that CZ

Dan Wesson is CZ. Those 1911s are great, but all 1911s are great and that's what outlaw was saying 1911s in general are the best handguns. I own a CZ-97B and I love it, for a $730 gun its essentially the CZ-75 bigger bore brother and its performs just as well as the 75 for a bigger caliber, but Dan Wessons are great 1911s for the money.
@@bigbrick7278 I have a P10 C but I have been looking to get a DA/SA CZ. I wonder if the CZ-97B can be converted to a .357 sig 🤔@Honest Outlaw what do you think? can it?
@@rafardzrba idk tbh, CZ is one of the lower end guns for the after market especially the 97 model because they aren't high demand and more rare to come across unlike the 75 models. You see more of an aftermarket on striker fired polymer handguns because parts can be made cheap and easy, and alot of guns have similar components to other striker fired guns. Glock and SIG are great examples I know SIG is mainly hammer fired, but they are made of polymer mostly and cheaper guns for the most part and a lot of people own Glocks or SIGs because of the availability of them. Which allows for a big after market
@@bigbrick7278 a agree dan wesson is a good brand of 1911 for the money but the dwx seems a step above the rest. It takes the advantages of the cz and 2011 platform to create a beautiful gun. Seriously can't wait for the dwx
@@zacharyread5303 agreed the dwx looks phenomenal. And you're right taking the advantages of other great company guns is what will make that gun perform very, very well.
I run a modded sfx with viper in USPSA open. Paid $700 1.5yrs ago then lightened the trigger and a few other goodies plus Taylor freelance +4 base pads and magwell. Shoots like a dream want to add CZ P09 and Ruger 1911 target both in 9mm to my collection.
ok this is it, ive been a 1911/2011 guy, but since some of my friends own CZ shadows, i will definitely consider owning a CZ... soon! awesome reviews, great camera work
I consider you a very lucky guy as well lol. The 92X and PPQ match are such badass guns. And yes! The 1911 and 2011 are the best! The trigger itself makes it very accurate. My favorite gun of all time
Love this video. It's like my ultimate Christmas list!! The very end cracked me up, lol. I once had a HnK USP .45. It had that olive green finish. My favorite and most accurate gun I've ever owned!! Ahhh, that was back in the day, when I had money.
the cz shadow is a god of gun, I bought one off my buddy i worked with 40,000 rounds through the barrel( was his training comp gun) and it still printed a 2 inch group at 50 yards in a vice
Have used a variance of each one on the list, and honorable mentions. Unfortunately I grew up shooting 1911's, and that to this day has ruined me. Stellar choices here, all I wouldn't hesitate to purchase.
@@iSyre Not really. I replaced the already great trigger with a Freedome smith trigger. I did it my self. Nice and easy. Venom red dot site. A more aggressive grip. Its shoots like a dream. Oh and you cant beat the cost.
@dead Chris bounce. Love my SFX. Accurate, great trigger, even better with Freedom Smith. Cons- occasional stove pipes, keeping it clean helps. Front of gun gets pretty hot if shooting a lot of rounds.
Some of them need to wear in a little. I used to have one. They are a very good pistol. I had to buy a Q5 Match to better it and the gap isn't as large as you might think.
I can say I am very happy with my Q5, glad you liked it too!! As well it really does feel like having a sniper rifle on your waistband, plus even with the Trijicon RMR it still conceals very well amazingly. Though one must admit to a little envy over the 2011 having readily available 30rnd mags, kept that in-house and run 21rnd mags though i only load 20 in all 3..
1911s are undeniably great, from out of the box to custom. Some of those custom ones specifically for comp or bullseye guns cost an arm and a leg to buy. I bought a CZ-97B and I love it. It's not the cheapest .45, but where I live *cough Commifornia, it's quite remarkable. Out of the 1911s in the price range of the 97B the CZ was a bit longer on the grip, but I was able to hit a better grouping from 25yds with the CZ. It wasnt until I shot a $7,000 1911 custom is when I told myself this is the gun to own. It made my sub-par aim feel like John Wick, I've never shot a better grouping in my life out of multiple mags. Now it makes me want to send my 97 to Cajun works to see if can get my gun and compare it.
No chance. the more there is to do for a trigger, the worse it gets. The only option would be converting it to a SA trigger which doesn't make a lot of sense in that category. DA/SA trigger will not get to SA trigger level. If you got the regular 97B and not the BD with the decocker you already got a slight edge over yet another thing to do for the trigger. I'd love to have a DA/SA pistol with a decocker without any downside of the added mechanism, but there might be one out there. I'd like to know about those. I'd invest in a badass training experience of 4-5 days before dumping so much money on a 1911.
Nope buy a tso. Its all of those things except $7k. More like 2k. But the gun is a far better shot than i am plus i got that same feeling with my tso. Only other time was with a wilson combat 1911.
I just got the Shadowy Systems MR920 @$1200 and I am kicking my self 2 days later I saw the Q5 match on sale for $780 @ Classic. Mine is a great gun though.
I just picked that one up about 2 months ago and I love it. My only other pistol is a M&P shield and when I get done shooting the X-calibur it makes me wanna sell the little guy
@matus mikoviny howdy partner, here in the USA I know gunprodeals.com aka gunzonedeals.com has at least 4 or 5 different GP models. That sucks to hear about your experience with your pistol. The x-cal I have is the gen 2 mk12 and in the 1200-1500 rounds I have fired through it I have had 0 failures with the pistol. Just a few duds due to the cheapest brass I can find. I sure hope this reliability continues for years to come. I would love to see a review on the k105 🔫🤠
Went to my local gun range, and for $25 you can demo any gun they have. I went back over and over and had them pick a 9mm. I tried not to focus on the model as I just wanted to find something that felt right. When I left, my son said what was the last gun we fired...wow. I said yup, felt the same way. CZ Shadow 2. Went back and bought one. Cant tell you how many new friends I have made on the range since the purchase.

Good choice! Greetings from Skopje, Macedonia!
Those are superbly accurate pistols with the right shooter,I love my checkmate.
Love the accuracy for the $ of the canik TP9SFX, next budget wise would be the Walther Q5 Match!
I run my SFX next to my Walther and they are equally awesome, I lean towards my SFX though.
Love my SFX, heck I love all of my Caniks.
I saw a BIG difference between the feel of the Q5 SF vs polymer. The SF is phenomenal, the polymer feels too jumpy. Test it out first if you can.
I absolutely love my 2011 Staccato C2.
ok this is it, ive been a 1911/2011 guy, but since some of my friends own CZ shadows, i will definitely consider owning a CZ... soon! awesome reviews, great camera work
I consider you a very lucky guy as well lol. The 92X and PPQ match are such badass guns. And yes! The 1911 and 2011 are the best! The trigger itself makes it very accurate. My favorite gun of all time
I'm glad the Beretta made the list. I have the Q5, want the CZ, but the Beretta is next.
❤️ my Dan Wesson Valor duty treat with a Cylinder & Slide sear/hammer and a little custom work from Dan Wesson.
Nice shooting Mr. Outlaw. Beretta 92x Defensive would get my vote.
What sold me on the TS2 is that Mrs Outlaw shot it well. And I don't have your bear claws. I already had the PDP full size and love it.
That ting sound never gets old. Sounds like freedom!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Man you're best target shooter there is. 👍🇺🇸
Love this video. It's like my ultimate Christmas list!! The very end cracked me up, lol. I once had a HnK USP .45. It had that olive green finish. My favorite and most accurate gun I've ever owned!! Ahhh, that was back in the day, when I had money.
I love your list. I have number one and number two.
the cz shadow is a god of gun, I bought one off my buddy i worked with 40,000 rounds through the barrel( was his training comp gun) and it still printed a 2 inch group at 50 yards in a vice
Did anything break? How many TRS? Would be nice to know from such a long time usage.
Dammit.... I can't wait to get my hands on a DWX!!! I have a feeling it may crown this list...
Have used a variance of each one on the list, and honorable mentions. Unfortunately I grew up shooting 1911's, and that to this day has ruined me. Stellar choices here, all I wouldn't hesitate to purchase.
My go to channel
Solid list. The tp9sfx is in my list to get. The shadow 2 will be before it though.
"Cause they don't make a .46"
Shut up 😂
“.460 Magnum has entered the chat.”
But the .460 hasn't won two world wars! 🤪😜
"Was that a joke I was supposed to get?"
.454 Casull for those that don't want to over do it (but still totally over do it).
Excellent review. Well done!
I feel like I made the right decision with my Canik SFX. At least it gets an honorable mention.
Considering the canik myself. Any pros cons?
@@iSyre Not really. I replaced the already great trigger with a Freedome smith trigger. I did it my self. Nice and easy. Venom red dot site. A more aggressive grip. Its shoots like a dream. Oh and you cant beat the cost.
@dead Chris bounce. Love my SFX. Accurate, great trigger, even better with Freedom Smith. Cons- occasional stove pipes, keeping it clean helps. Front of gun gets pretty hot if shooting a lot of rounds.
@@petebailey2551 I only have about 500 rounds through mine. No stove pipe issue yet.
Thanks for the vid ! Great stuff Outlaw & Mrs ! I appreciate the knowledge. 👊💯
Great list for sure. In my experience, i shoot the most accurate with my FN Five-seveN.
Cant believe with the cost of all these guns on this list the canik makes it .
Would love to see your thoughts on a Grand Power X-calibur, their 5" competition handgun.
I have all of those top 5. Totally agree, but missing the BUL TAC Pro. Maybe due to this being 4yrs old.
CZ Shadow is next on my list! Great job!
H&K Mk23 is just crazy accurate. It’s actually insane all things considered.
i got a pair of 1858 remingtons replica's but the guy i got them from was a gunsmith and marksmen shooter and took first place in the state with them against modern pistols and i got them on very good deal from him before he died with converters and extra cylinders and all my friends say the same thing they shoot perfect . the old owner said he did a lot too them totally reworked them real smooth on the action one of the best gun's i have ever shot even better then my colts
1 missing from the list is the Arex Alpha which I reviewed and put through a 50 rd LE type qual
Great review of a great top 5!
CZ U.S.A. makes some of the Best arms on the market with a wide Selection. I'm not a owner of one but its definitely as to my attention. Id have to say from all the knowledge I've gained over the years. CZ is top notch an good price points
that's why i buy only cz
@Honest Outlaw
So the Best 5 are:
1. Custom 1911 ή 2011.
2. Custom CZ 75.
3. Walther PPQ 05 Match.
4. Beretta 92x Performance.
5. Sig Sauer P210 Target.
......alle pistole in mio possesso da poco ho aggiunto la CZ 75 TS Orange, arma di livello, estremamente precisa e performante, la migliore che ho, la migliore fra quelle che ho usato....complimenti per il video.
Thank you for this video. Very helpful
Good Stuff!
P226 RX Legion should have had honorable mention, as a duty weapon that is rather accurate "left thumb break" RUclips video has it ringing steel at 180 yards!
Cheers
Thanks for the list, dude
I have both a P210 US Target and Shadow 2. P210 smokes the CZ and is the most accurate 9mm I have ever fired.
I love the CZ75. They can still be had for a decent price
My CZ75 TO was $2000 with tax, don't tell my wife.
