    • @angelal1607
      @angelal1607 9 месяцев назад +58

      I have a bit of a phobia of seeing or hearing (or even knowing about) people vomiting, so the aisle seat terrifies me: what if someone has to climb over me to get to the restroom when they are about to vomit, and they end up vomiting on/near me? Just the thought of that makes me want to never fly again. So I choose the window seat, wear noise-canceling headphones, crank up the music, close my eyes, and pretend no one else is around.

    • @ellengrace4609
      @ellengrace4609 9 месяцев назад +33

      Interesting. I don’t mind getting up for others, but I also don’t mind when others need to stand up so I can get by. If they’re annoyed because I need to use the restroom - a very reasonable need - then that’s their issue, not mine.

The only downside is there is a **chance** you might be near a baby, as that's also where they have the attachments for babies. Buuuuut I've found this only happens a fraction of the time. So it's worth the risk, especially on longer flights where that extra leg room is crucial.

    For short flights I agree, for long flights (+ 4 hours) I would go with 44J ⭐️ only during take of and landing you have the inconvenience of leaving your bag on the overhead compartment and have the TV hiding in the seat. But once you are on the air, you can take your bag and put in on the floor in front of you, having enough space to lift you feet on top of you bag, lean on the wall next to the the window, and sleep live a baby. And anytime you have to go to the bathroom or need to stand a little, you don’t need to bother anyone because you have enough space Thant you can just walk in front of the other people seating next to you. I’ve done this in a 11 hour flight and it was worth paying the reserved seat, best long flight I’ve had

In window seats you can put your head against the wall, in aisle seats you're trying to make yourself comfortable somehow and when you finally manage to one of the people next to you will have to get out. That or people passing by will wake you up. Window seat always wins.

I like to sleep on flights and I hate wanting to sleep and getting woken up to move for someone to go to the bathroom then you gotta stay up to move for them to sit back down… Hate the middle seat cause I don’t like being smushed between two people, I feel super awkward. Window seat ftw. Can lean my body into it, also love the views & don’t have to move at all unless you personally need the bathroom. From a selfish standpoint, It feels better having others move for you than having to move for others when it comes to the bathrooms, but that’s why I make sure to use it before I get on flights and wait till I get on the flight for drinks.
