Given the prices of their DLCs, “one of the good ones” is very subjective. But yeah, this was gonna turn me off ever purchasing anything from them ever again if it was even remotely true.
@OneBiasedOpinion fair point, can't argue with the fact there DLC pricing is alittle out their. But compared to companies like Ubisoft there practically angels

On a more sirious note: Xeno-compability is kind of fixed now. If i remember correctly, halflings no longer create halfhalflings etc., fixing the lag problem.

@Nartanek the micro transactions in DD2 can be ignored entirely. Everything is available in game, if you have a friend and some time to burn, you can speed run the port crystals and then gift them to your friend through the Pawn system then have them re-gift them to you and have more than you'll need.
@@mattseman5682 i dont know why but my theorie is that the pulblisher demanded it because its simply stupid its way to easy to get them ingame.

Sweet relief. Sweet, sweet relief. I was legitimately dying inside, I'd lost hope. To realise that this was a joke was a massive relief, I was absolutely perplexed why you were so onboard with these changes. I am utterly glad that this is a joke. After two years of having to defend Paradox's DLC model to my friends, I thought it was all for nothing. This was a sick joke (I'm laughing though). The worst part is, when I saw 'Enhanced Democracy', my first thought was a new streaming option so you can get twitch chat and such to vote on things for your empire, and I was genuinly pleased. After hearing what the actual 'plan' was, I sunk further, in utter disbelief that Paradox would actually go political like that. I'm going to bed, it's been a night and a half. Thanks for scaring the crap out of me Montu. :D

Releasing a bunch of standalone cosmetics is a good business strategy and they should do it for real to get extra budget in for larger expansions. I am not joking. I'd pay good money for model swaps if I knew the proceeds were going towards expansions.
