I like the idea. It saves 5 minutes. But for transportation, it is bulkier and takes up more space. I have an SUY, so not ideal to keep them built. Great if you have a van or trailer.
I can assure you it saves more than 5 minutes, but thus transport method isn't for everyone, but for those who do have the space... from my experience, this is an ideal way for speedy set up and break down!!!
@@DJMikeJames I get both of the stands up by myself in about about 7 minutes. My daughter and I have done races to see who can do it faster, and 1 stand is about 3 1/2 minutes (not including fitting the scrim).
@@gooddreamco3054 I don't video myself putting the totems up. But you can have them both up by yourself in less than 10 minutes easy as long as you are moving with a purpose.
Ikr... many do use expensive trussing, which has it's positives and negatives, but these collapsible totems get the job done and much easier to transport as well as cost effective (rockville does not sponsor me) some of their products just work and they just came out with a taller set 82's and TV mountable... I'm assuming the bag stretches over time - just got my Infanzia bag and I'm learning the knack though I can't imagine squeezing it in with wingnuts attached too. Awesome idea though! I retired the glow totems for a while cause they were a pain to set up and breakdown but looking forward to using this trick this year, thanks!
Yes... It does, a bit... However, the more you do it, the easier it gets... I padded and reinforced the bottom of mine... the trick is to get the first one in and slide it all the way up to give you the room to get the other one in.. Honestly though, the best way to transport them 2/3 put together... Then I just roll them in on my uplights road case... Thanks for watching 👀 and commenting...

That'd probably work... it's what I did to the suitcase that I have my ADJ Startec Boombox FX2'S in... The only way I was able to reinforce mine was I stitched a vinyl bottom on it and put the thin like 1/4" packing foam between the layers... Also, I got a set of those velcro seat belt shoulder strap cushions from Walmart and sewed them on to the carrying handle straps of my DJ booth and totem bag... way more comfortable to carry on the shoulder...
@@DJMikeJames thanks for the heads up, I like the shoulder strap idea. I saw the vinyl bit too - smart. I think I'll add the foam inside once it stretches a bit. Fun fact - I bought the 47" Infanzia bag first cause your video looked like a tight fit and the bag was insanely large haha the +2" long was nice but it had a ton of space on the height that was pointless.

I agree, they are heavy! Are they aluminum? Maybe an Alloy or something, honestly though, now that I've intimidator 360's on them, at their price... Smart but heavy at 75lbs for both, good idea reinforcing that bag. Shame Still think these are heavy for aluminum.
