  • My third, and probably last video of Tim. Sorry it has been so long, but I've been busy doing other things.

I sang for a number of years with my family group and we sang many times with Tim and Gold City all the way back to the very beginning in the 80's and as a fellow Bass singer I can say with no reservation that he is truly one of the best! He is also a fine christian Man and a precious friend to me and my family. I hope all of you enjoy hearing him sing as much as I do!!!

wonderful, thank you very much for your work, a tribute to the ministry of Tim Riley, a men in wich God put a lot of talent for His glory, and Tim used his Talant and glad lots of hearts. His voice is unique and so pleasant, a bass solist not just singer or growler. God Bless You and Tim and everyone !

    He's the best
Said it on many of these compilations
Tim understands that bass gives a good solid foundation for the rest of the singers to build a tone on.
It's not like when JD sang, it isn't accented with bass here and there.
You will not mistake when Tim is singing and when he's not, even when he's not digging the bottom out.
This is why I believe not only is Tim the best but also why GC is one of the most underrated SG groups.
I mean seriously, look how many times they're featured in the Gather videos. Yeah, we all know why BG does those. Lol
GC has set a tonal record few can match
Unfortunately, they've struggled since Tim retired and the lineups just haven't maintained that same integral tone foundation.

There's another at 5:07. That lowest one is an F1. Not as good as the one from 7:32 but still an F1 nonetheless.
