I really liked Martin. It takes a lot to recognize you have issues. I’m so sorry he lost his friend.

Hoarding is an example of how everyone grieves differently. Some people hoard out of grief.

It's more like they hoard because they haven't or can't deal with the grief. I wonder if hoarding is distracting themselves from the grief. Anyway, I hope he does better and maybe his sister will be willing to come around and help him to keep things under control.

It’s so sad that he has no other expression for his grief.

sometimes these shows really hit your heart and bring you joy, this is one of them. Such lovely people, all of them, and it really good example of how this 'illness' happens. Sending you all love and kindness and joy.

Thanks for the upload. But is the sound very unbalanced for anyone else? Feels like the music and background noise is much louder than the narrator.

No, not necessarly. I love to be alone, like my grandma, she lived alone for decades and was happy with it.

Where to start? The bathroom is the first place, then the kitchen, then sleep area. Once those places are functional and clean, get going on filling some trash containers and getting rid of something on trash day! Mine is tomorrow so have a few veggies I want to clean up in the fridge to donate to my garbage can today.
I have my own pizza cooking in the oven and bread rising. So glad I only have some cupboards or boxes in storage to have to keep sorting. It feels so good to take one area (pantry, closet, a drawer, medicine storage, shoes) every week to evaluate again and hopefully get rid of a few more things. I have to time those extra cleans when or after watching one of these hoarding shows to keep being motivated. Oops... pizza is ready so will pause and watch this while munching.

-I really appreciate this show/these videos! The hoarding tendency runs high in my family (that includes myself!) and watching things like this helps me keep proper perspective. Also, I really appreciate the way the stories are presented. (Shows like this that are filmed here in the US tend to have dramatic music and show lots of family drama, which is completely unnecessary and counterproductive!)
-All that said, the titles don't seem particularly suited to the episodes. That's kinda silly.

The background music is quite bad. Maybe it’s not in sync or something.

The background music is appalling, yet these channels still think everybody wants to hear it.

The music often overpowers the audio. Is it necessary??

Please lose the music. Too loud!

Alas it’s sad to say but this isn’t the worst hoard I’ve seen on these shows. Some of the American ones are hoarded with just trash.

    • @lorirogers9304
      @lorirogers9304 2 дня назад

The American version provides therapy and aftercare, so the hoards can be more extreme due to severe mental health conditions

What kind of accent does this gentleman have? Is it Glaswegian? (i’m an accent nerd lol) His accent is much stronger than his sister’s. Thanks!

If you turned off your stupid annoying background music, we might be able to hear what's being said; just get rid of it!!!!

ITS okay not to feel anything from a song since you dont relate to any of the stuff she said, The song was about giving a shoulder to cry to on, people dont have people to rely on when they on the lowest, "i'LL cry them for you" is not playing jesus cos jesus dont cry nor feel pain where hes at, but shes refering to never let you feel the pain alone, she wants to feel it with you, share your pain with you.. and stuff like that. She wont sing about the hates tbh she aint scared of them either. GREAT REACTION BIGS UP!
