Great video. Subscribed. 👍Been headshaving for six months (with a Leaf) and now just received a twig for Xmas from my wife. One shave in and I like the form factor. 👍
Great shave! In my head I use always headblade moto or atx and soaps with brush. I love Stirling and arian&Evans or headslick. Very slick. I my face I use de safety razor .
Thanks Matteo! I also have the Head Blade Moto and will do a video with it one day. It works very well but alas it uses one of those evil cartridge contraptions. I use it from time to time but I don't want to buy more blades for it. If you have a way to get the original Dorco Pace 4 (or Pace 6) - Not the Pace PROs... they are the exact same blade as those being sold by Head Blade. You just need to take a pair of nose pliers and yank out the handle connector from each blade. I'll show this process on video when I get around to this one.
Nice video! I bought this for my wife and for some reason it makes her nervous so she hasn’t used it. I told her she is silly and it’s no different than a razor blade in a disposable (except the quality of the shave)
I agree it looks scary for those areas! Hate to say it but the Venus cartridges are definitely the tool for "shaving your tools" for men and women alike!
Thanks for the video. Wow you shave fast! I’ve been shaving my head for years with an electric razor and have just changed to safety razor. Have a merkur 38c and get a good result but the handle is too slippery, so have a 34c on order. Am I better to go for a twig or the 34c for a close shave?
Thanks Stephan! Once you get used to it, you can speed up a bit but be careful with more aggressive razors as they will bite. Everyone has different shaped heads and you have to learn what movements and shave patterns work most efficiently. 34c is a great razor but you should trim the blade ends a bit to protect your ears (a tip given to me by some viewers). 34c is a milder shaver so may not get as close as you want but will still give you a great shave. The Twig is also great as is the Leaf. They all provide different experiences. I've been leaning towards razors that have their end tabs covered to protect my ears but still have many that don't. I've only been bitten a few times but that can happen with any razor.
While I loved Cella performance, marzipan (almond) scent is one that just doesn't agree with my nose no matter what the product is. Can't win them all. 😊
@@ojshaves1523 yeah that's fair enough. I've got a sweet tooth think that's why. In the UK we have a cake called a Cherry Bakewell and it smells like that 😍
How does the twig stand up against their standard leaf razor? Not sure which one to buy! I’ll be using it for head and beard tidying, exactly like yourself. What do you think?
Hey Jay. For this purpose, the Twig is far better than the Leaf. The leaf is great when you just want to plow the field and don’t need precision trimming of any area.
Hi there, great video...thanks. Just a question... I got my Leaf razor 5 month ago, but I'm kind disappointed since I can get super close and perfect head shave, I use 3 Astra blades with 3 passes: with, across and against the grain but nothing, i feel like a sandpaper. So I'm considering the Twig (and now there is the new Thorn model) but I don't know if Thorn could be better experience for head shave. Do you use Twig or Thorn on this video? Thanks in advance
Great video, did I hear you were from Canada. If so where did you pick up the twig. I'm form Canada as well, curious if you got it straight from leafshave .
I generally don't stretch blades past three shaves (unless I don't realize it). Feather can go to 5 or even 6 but not more than that. In the twig, you should probably stick to 3 since you only have the single side of one blade. I use dice to track my blade uses.
You can easily do it everyday if you so choose but probably with a milder razor. I think most shavers find waiting a day in between always results in a better and more comfortable shave. I'd recommend every second day if you shave against the grain. If you only do two passes, you could easily shave every day.
Hey there. I been refining things as I go along and have tried different tracks and volume levels. I haven't received any negative feedback on the music being there but I appreciate your comment.
Great video! I also own a Twig. If you don't mind what's your favorite razor for head shaving?
Helpful to watch this before my first couple times with a safety blade. Music calmed my nerves, too, lol. Enjoying my Twig
Hey brother I understand what you mean.
I use the twig as well one of the best razors I’ve ever come across 😊

How do the leaf and twig razors compare for face/head? Are the 1-2 extra blades on the leaf worth it?Thanks

Thanks Matthew! Show her videos of other ladies using it! Time to get with it! LOL.
The Leaf razor might work better for the legs (but not for under the arms and the nether regions).

Love a citrus scent, decent shave. :)
Thanks David! I want to eat this soap.
@@ojshaves1523 haha I'm like that with Cella 🤣🤣🤣

I've heard of this treat you have over there called "lemon top".. Soft serve with some lemon concoction added on top.. I want to try that!!

Hey! Did you ever get that figured out? That’s why I ended up getting rid of my leaf razor.

How often would you change blades?

How often would you recommend head shaving ? New to it still learning

talking and having background music is annoying sorry

Third pass means it wasn't up to standards.
The background music is annoying, I’m afraid.
Thanks Pete. This was one of the earlier videos and I've been making changes as I go. In some it was a little louder than I thought.
Can you speak English?
