Just to help, stone henge has been proven to work as a lunar Callander and also a daily clock, perhaps to be used as a time keeper for rituals of the Druidic tribes. Whether this was the original purpose or not, is unproven, but seems likely as there are several indentations in the trench surrounding the henge that are in perfect locations for markers to be placed to keep track of both lunar and daily timings. Another interesting fact about Stonehenge is that it is at the highest point of a shallow hill and if you look around you whilst at the henge, you can see the burial mounds of ancient tribal leaders placed on surrounding hills, presumably so that they would be easily noticeable. This implies that Stonehenge was famous enough for tribespeople to come for miles around to see their dead remembered there. The location of Wood henge is also marked near Salisbury plain, being a smaller henge constructed of, surprise surprise, wood. Finally I did not need Wikipedia to write this, I just lead a very sad and ace denial life.

godwrote01 Also, product placement was not legal on Norwegian TV at the time. Now it's legal, but they have to inform the viewers that the show have been paid for product placement. Political TV commercials was also forbidden, because a political commercial will only tell one side of a cause, and it gives the political block with the most money an advantage, but EU regulations have removed both those bans. :(

The should definitely go with this to Eurovision Contest.
I know this masterpiece for years now and I love to show it to as many people as possible.
Absolutely brilliant, especially the hook - a hook you can trust!
When he started talking about Civics and a car you can trust that cracked me up like crazy
One of the greatest pieces of comedy ever made. I admire their sense of timing, they really know how to place their gags at the right time. TLDR: LMFAO
Thanks for the TLDR
Im glad im coming from Norway
Who the fuck TL;DR's a fucking 2 sentence comment.
Obviously him. You have a problem with itm
Comedy? I don’t understand what you mean comedy.
This is the definition of brilliance. When laughs and wows hit you at the same time.
These guys are criminally underrated still. Not only are they funny, but they're actually good songs.
This video has 34 million views, I can't say there's a lot of underrating going on here, much less to a criminal degree.
@@KelpTheGreat Well, it *is* criminally underrated compared to the global viral infamy of 'What Does The Fox Say?' 🦊 (a song I never really liked. I mean, sure, it's funny the first two or three times, but it gets annoying on repeat, and it's not something I would come back to time and time again, like 'Stonehenge').
they are grat and highly talented :)
Stonehenge was built so that this song would be made.
soooo funny 5 hour drive 40 minute walking!!!??
@@randallgomez7496 it has a shape it has a size
''she gives me a smile, then plays with my balls''

qazqa5 Hahaha. It sucked...

hahahaha how the hell did the fox get so many views, this is comedic brilliance XD
I know right, I wish this had gotten as viral as the fox
I agree. I think the
fox is stupid!
agreed!
+GabzitoHD cuz it is kpop or w/e RE: Fox says
+GabzitoHD Probably because this wouldn't be played due to being "explicit".
Never would have thought that Barbershop could introduce me to such a marvel so long after its debut...
This song moves me in an emotional manner that I never thought possible.
But, but... can your emotions move 25ton stones into a henge?
Yore kidding, right!?
yes, we have really good technologaii todaii
"Are you kidding me, of course I would have given the car" LOVE his voice in that part, amazing!!
its just still a masterpiece after 10 years
I remember back in 2014, I was hospitalized for 5 days because of Dengue fever and in the hospital, the song that keeps playing on my head was this song.
Thanks ylvis for making my hospital stay at least bearable!
The heck?
How did you catch Dengue Fever, how horrible!!! 🤒So glad it was this silly song that got you through it all! 🏥🎶 Thankfully, you didn't have "to-die".
Genius comes in many forms. This is one.
I'll never stop listening to this. I'm showing this to my kids. Masterpiece
Doesn't matter how many years it's been, my mother still makes me play this for every new person she hasn't shown it to if the topic of Stonehenge happens to come up. She's texted me for the link before when I wasn't even there.
You have the most awesome mom ever!!! haha
Ylvis come back, I need more of these songs!! :)
I drive a Civic and I have been to Stonehenge with it only because of this song. 620 miles from Germany. Thanks, Ylvis!
eh? really?
for real! @@BaH4o3eH
goshh, so passionate
Excuse me, but why does this man look like Paul Rudd? Not complaining. Just wondering.
He is the love child of Paul Rudd and Josh Groban.
He sometimes looks like Spenny from Kenny vs Spenny, too. He's a mish mash of so many people, lmao.
His brother looks like the man who played Thor in some angles. But I think he would be a better choice for Thor because he's Norwegian hehe.

It has been almost a decade since I first heard this.
And it's still top 10 favorite songs.
Damn.
One does not simply rhyme high with technology and then with today
That's the joke < _
doge simply does not merge onto boromir.
You can if you are Vegard :)
I know. It's sounds like he said "we have to die".
+Glem Det this guy knows wassup
easily the most epic song and video I've ever seen, makes me tear up every time lol
But whilst crying all I think of is Stonehenge!
+Ábel Orosz lol
@Abel I actually sang these words in my mind to the song's tune HAHAHA
I grew up near StoneHenge, been there several times and i have no fucking idea why you would build a stonehenge!
I'm pretty sure it was a burial grounds for the elite people back in the day.
Well basically they made one out of straw and some asshole wolf blew it down so they made one form wood but the asshole blew it down... And you get where im going with this
***** lol doesn't look like brick to me silly goose.
ah fair play :) erm celtic bricks ?
35 likes! Never expected that...
When I was a kid, I didn't understand the lyrics, so I listened this song to the melody.
I'm grown now. And I realized how meaningful this song's words are...
Also, now I know what "balls" means...
It was built to make future generations go: Wtf? They were the original trolls.
First and best troll.
Phero I was drinking a water and I literally just spitted out my water 😂😂😂😂😂
The original trolls hahahahahaha killed me like the honda part in the song hahahahahaha
The trollhenge
The humans were the size of giants they made stonehenge as a playpen
I lost it at a prison far too easy to escape hahahaha..
Actually I think it's the border wall!
As a norwegian, this makes me so proud.
+Kristine fuck you.
+JohannaMueller57 fuck you?

,,She gives me a smile....And then she plays with my baaaals!,,
Well that escalated quickly.
Go see the live version on RUclips! The way he says it in the live performance is so much better!
A great talent. The man behind what the mystery of what the fox said.
Honestly the greatest song of all time. Never gets old. I came across this masterpiece in 2013 after visiting Stonehenge and I still come back to listen to it!!! I’ve listened to it 5 times today!!! 😅
2024 crowd, let's keep this video alive
Always come back to this video no matter how old I get haha
Still here! 😂
Hey-oh! ... I mean, uh... a-yo? Ahem. Take 2... Hello! 😊
I remember its existence every 7 years
I will be back in the next 10 years. If I'm not dead by then. 😂
Best Honda Civic commercial EVER
So true
LeonSam87 tru
I am going to buy a civic this car is amazing
It took me 5 minutes to realize that the Stonehenge is symbolized for the "H" of Honda...the best ad ever!
omg... i was blind all those years... i feel so stupid! thanks for writing this down!
i took me 5 years
It took me 3 years and your comment ._. Maybe not such a good ad, in the end :D
What do you mean? I don't get it
Every morning I get a lift to work from a guy who drives a Civic. Every morning I spend 5 hours with this song in my head. Every morning. Imma start biking to work.
Kristin Briggs it's a car you can trust though
Idk. I sang this song all the time in college. This and Jan Egeland. And honestly, I don't know if a better song has been written to this day
They are both unironically amazing
The advertisement for Civic was so great here that i didn't even think over the fact that it was advertisement..
It's actually just a joke about ridiculous product placement. The Civic in the video hasn't been on sale since 2000.
It could be taken as product placement, but really he was just trying to sell his old car, not promote the company xD
lylajean100 was he? while on RUclips you can only see. how he was trying to sell VW Touran- the crappiest car on internet
What happened to my second comment? -.-
The first song of stonehenge :D Greeting from Poland :)
Nie jest pierwsza. Jeśli grałeś w gre "Na kłopoty Pantera" tam była pierwsza piosenka o Stonehenge. :)
i swear,Ylvis makes the weirdest and funniest song
songs
If you think this is weird check out Filthy Frank.
This is still my all time favorite RUclips video. I gotta watch it several times a year.
So it has been proven or not?
It's a plausible theory, but it's a theory nonetheless. I'm afraid unless some scripture reveals itself we may never know for certain.
Darren Huseyin
Let's hope you feel the same about the theory about gravity, and just float the f**k away
Darren Huseyin all history is theory. That's the whole philosophy behind it
Congrats! you are now the owner of a Honda civic... :))
I'm still wondering if this video is sponsored by Honda.
Not at all, The Video is from 2013 nearly 2014. the Civic in the Video is the 5th (1991-95) or the 6th Generation (1995-2001) I dont think that people want to go by i car which is already nearly 20 years old. ;)
godwrote01 Also, product placement was not legal on Norwegian TV at the time. Now it's legal, but they have to inform the viewers that the show have been paid for product placement.
Political TV commercials was also forbidden, because a political commercial will only tell one side of a cause, and it gives the political block with the most money an advantage, but EU regulations have removed both those bans. :(
Nope the singer wanted to sell his honda and was advertising this conveniently in the video...you get it if you watch his talkshow xD
crystalDM96 Haha sounds like something Ylvis would do XD
MMedic
So many years later and I still laugh my ass off at this song. I think my favorite line is "a giant granite birthday cake, or a prison far too easy to escape" 🤣 🤣 🤣 I love these guys so much 😆
2:37 AND THEY ROLLED IT 46 MILES FROM WAAAAAAALES
genuinely pure fire
