And he's great at not interrupting or talking over the subject, while still keeping the conversation on track and moving along. It's not easy.
It’s funny I was thinking the same thing BB said about capcom cup qualifiers. Capcom should totally make all the online premieres, offline and be hosted as an offline tournament in the respective region and allow anyone to travel to and participate (just like the France & Singapore offline). This way it still gives opportunity to lesser known talent whilst at the same time allowing a chance for the best fighters to qualify if they are prepared to travel.
Just imagine if Capcom had dropped a balance patch late last year when every Rashid player was bawling their eyes out about their character being low tier.
I've mained rashid (1400mmr now) since release and never thought he was low tier. Haven't even heard anyone say that, what crazy takes people have... Rashid was noticeably strong Ithin
@@Alex95rlz yeah I think the only thing that stayed consistent was that Zangief and Lily being low tier, even then I recently saw a tierlist where Lily was B tier despite no changes in the balance patch.
@@lorettadunne210a lot of pros (especially in Japan) considers Lily B tier at the very least. The more people lab her tools, it became known that her tools aren’t as underwhelming as initially thought
im happy about what Bird said about damage, ive been telling ppl this. This is the exact reason Cammy is a mid tier character in this game. Scrubs think shes s tier because they dont know how to deal with pressure and think shes way stronger than what she is. But at a higher level, Cammy is hard to have success with because you just have to do more work than your opponents alot of times, and where its really evident is when your playing against the actual top tier, high damage characters. And also i feel like Ryu is actually a harder matchup for Cammy than Ken is, and a big part of that is Ryus big damage combined with Cammys low damage and health. I hope she gets some kinda buff to dmg or health...in some way or another. Because in my opinion, as far as just having fun with the game, Cammy is one of the most fun characters to play and if we are gonna have characters in entirely diff tiers across the board, Cammy deserves to be one of the higher tier ones
Bro you're just exposing that you're bad. Cammy has no weakness or bad MUs at the moment, a trait most characters don't even have. Her buttons are amazing and dive kick just bypases footsies. Everyone has the same health except for Honda, gief and Marisa. Cammy's damage is normal if you think it's low then you're clearly only talking about her lp hit confirms. Matchups are not determined by damage and no the Ryu MU is not hard at all since she counters shotos. I will say she is not top 5 material since there's JP, luke, chun li, DJ and ken but she's right there next to the top 5. Literally almost everyone knows this. It is what it is, stop obsessing over tier lists and you'll understand the so called "scrubs" you proudly insult. I know all this cuz I main Cammy and try my best to understand the game and not complain my character is not top 1.
@@studentoflife8532 nah its actually understood that shes mid now. Opinions have evolved homie. Theres a reason you only see 1 or 2 in tournies and shes not winning anything. The characters you mentioned, plus Juri, Blanka, Rashid, Dhalsim and even Ryu imo are better....so Cammy is maybe 10th at best, which is mid. And in general u dont run into her half as much online as you did a few months ago. And yes, her damage is clearly low. If your not getting a jump in or emptying the tank, you arent getting decent damage with Cammy, this is also a known thing.
@@nunyabizwacks6711 tier placements are based on your probability of winning. Juri loses to the top 5 cuz she gets zoned cammy does not they're all even and good MUs for her. So no Juri is not better, same reason for blanka he does not perform to his maximum potential against characters with fireballs. Rashid is not yet explored completely and his MUs are indeed mostly even and good like Cammy but he loses to her, JP and Guile that's 3 MUs behind her. Ryu loses to cammy, guile, JP, dj, chun li, Luke. Sim also loses to cammy along side the top 5 and Guile. So no, these characters are not better than Cammy. The probability of winning for Cammy is always high. Tokido thinks she's top 3, one of the many "scrubs" you mentioned in your previous comment. Angry bird and punk plays Cammy arguably the two best non Japanese players. Also these characters you mentioned don't do much damage outside jump ins and meter as well. If anything cammy has better non meter and jump in combos cuz her combo starter is plus and is a heavy button, unlike most of the characters you mentioned. Nevertheless at their highest potential they all do sub 2k damage without meter like cammy.
I love that BigBird showed love to PUNK .. I love Mena because he’s undeniable.. I also have a lot of respect to the other people he mentioned for the top 5 players.. but to me personally PUNK is my GOAT 🐐 he’s such a solid player .. his whiff punishing is insane.. the way he studies his opps while he’s in the match .. PUNK is truly a SF God bruh 🙌🏻❤
SF6 is tough to balance, if you nerf the damage scaling on mediums and heavies, without crouch MK it's definitely going to hurt the weaker characters just as much as much as the stronger characters. And yea the meter gain is a problem, especially from some of these combos especially Chun Li building absurd amounts of meter every combo with the jump HP x2. They could introduce a mater scaling mechanic (previous SFs had it), but it would definitely slow down the games alot too. Capcom really wants this game to be fast, aggressive, proactive, which I think is a good thing in general, but maybe SF6 it's a bit too much and one sided often.
I love AngryBird .. he’s a beast in SF6 BUT HONESTLY 😂 I feel that BigBird is the “Better Bird”😂 whenever you hear him talk about the game you can tell he’s genuinely honest and understand the game extremely well

I find it so weird that he doesn't think uma is one of the best after beating everyone, it kinda shows what makes people believe in if you just don't appear on the mainstream radar all the time
Not to take any credit from Uma away, he won Capcom Cup, but he hasn't had as much presence as other competitors, at the absolute top level people start deconstructing and analyzing your gameplay a lot more as you get more notoriety, so it takes some time to prove you're really one of the best. It's one thing to be at the top, but it's another thing to maintain that position when everyone else is after your ass, Mena and AngryBird are very impressive because of that, they're on everyone's watch, but they still perform very well. SF6 is kind of in an off season rn, but when the next Capcom Cup Season happens I hope we get to see more of Uma's Juri.
That was just one tournament and tbh it just feels like Du just didnt have the match up knowledge. He literally did boom twice at the range that jaime can punish it with his ex break dance.
@@FoGSaberEdge2 Yea but that distance is quite significant. A quick hop and your opponent needs to not use booms. When timing it you can simply look for when the opponent moves forward, and predict the boom with a hop forward, and the breakdance. That would give Guile pro's quite a headache whenever they think about going into zoning mode. Guile doesn't have that much unpredictability once you take away the booms with a counter.
You can tell BBird is really smart and understands the game very well. I agree with him that the Drive mechanics rn are way too abusable, often when I'm playing my brother he simply holds parry and he's completely impervious to anything I do, and when I use Ed's Lvl2 is even worse cuz I can't even throw him, he negates all damage by simply holding a button down. I like the drive system, but it def needs tweaking, rn it's way too much of a clutch.
