Hello Kalle, remember that all the git history will be visible on turning this repo public so if you had any passwords or private api keys in there you could probably assume that they are compromised now. Anyways nice work and i will check out the repo aswell.
I love this new video change, love to see the trail and error, and not just everything is going just smooth short videos, this is much much better video style!
Loving the "unedited" concept. It's really nice to see what kinds of things that really happens, that often in other videos just gets mentioned, that actually makes up for alot of time in programming.
Would love to contribute to this project. Maybe you can add a discussion section so that people can discuss about the project and suggest new features instead of using the issues section. Kudos to open sourcing it so that a lot of people can contribute now.
You can actually push without you Google Json file... and anyone who wanna pull has to create his or her own for the development process.... that would be better then pushing you Google JSON file with the project
This is exactly why I loathe frameworks and runtimes! You always need to patch shit when they update their crap and break it! That’s why I solely work in C/C++ and Rust where I am in control of when I upgrade a library or version and it’s not as tightly knit with all the dependencies. I have better things to do than be in dependency hell! Rust really understood that weakness and real allow you to always use an old version of a library.
I am pro Flutter dev, with few public apps already. I can definitely help, but it would be better to set up some discord, where it can be communicated, what need to be done.
I'm confused about why exactly you want to open source your start up and why anyone would contribute. Also what's your startup's name? What does it help people do? How does it help transform people's lives?
Yea passwords on git repos.. what i learnt to do was for evry project create a .etc file add all my passwords/keys in there and add the .etc to .gitignore so it isnt there on the git repo
Try live mob programming to fix the bugs with the community… Also, if you had any kind of key or token committed it will now be compromised as it will still be in git history…
I believe updating the readme would help contributors better understand the project. You're yet to change it from the default starter app description.
yes read me really help.

I love this Idea of kind of showing the problems you encounter and how you actually tackle them, its really an eye opener more of such videos please!
Totally agree! Love it!
Definitely love the longer videos, It's fun to see you problem-solving that most programmers also face. Love your channel

"It's not such a pain, it's just ~~Googling a little bit~~" as Kalle is caught searching Stack Overflow and...bug smashed.
Loving the "unedited" concept. It's really nice to see what kinds of things that really happens, that often in other videos just gets mentioned, that actually makes up for alot of time in programming.
Like always, awesome video. Plus, I really enjoyed the way you did get to share the ideas and how you did try to fix bugs. :)
Wow this one was good! I wouldn't have started my own Tech RUclips channel if it wasn't for finding yours. Thank you!
This video is a reminder of the importance of keeping notes while working on any software project. What bug was I fixing?
Awesome keeping it coming, this was really interesting to watch
Linux is just a pain in the a**
swallows my whole graduation project once , and I became a Mac user ever since
A much awaited video from you.
This kind of video is good Kalle 👍👍👍
you are amazing brother. open source is nice.
I love ur vibe. U are still going on
You can set up github workflows for your app which will automatically generate an apk file or an ipa file (for ios users) whenever you push a commit
I loved this kind of edit !
this video was filmed so well! keep it up
Good job Kalle💫
Love your videos
Great video!!
Loving it

I realllly enjoyed this ..change

I actually prefer this unedited format
Woah! Pretty cool.
I am so sorry for you, after that flutter upgrade
just waiting for that good first issue tag
Keep it up
Nice vid before i watched
Good Evening
do you mainly work with ubuntu?
Kalle did you have to pay to publish the app beta/alpha in the App Store??
I had the same issue with the internet, didnt get fix until an update for the system.
From now on every one is going to open source their start up
When will the app be available on the App Store?
Been a long time since I also did a git push :(
You can actually push without you Google Json file... and anyone who wanna pull has to create his or her own for the development process.... that would be better then pushing you Google JSON file with the project
💚
You can start the emulator from within vs code, I’m not at my computer but I can look later as to how to do that
Write once, run everywhere
I wish you would go with a pwa for the mvp.so.much faster on development and the run time between native and pwa not so much difference.
Just an advice: you might want to add a license to you repo. Otherwise others can still your code 😉
Maybe to do it live, so people can help you instantly if they know how to fix the error if you come across :)
Really like this "unedited" kind of videos. However, it's kind of sluggish. 15 minutes would be so much easier to watch through.
Hi, i'm new in this Channel, what are you creating?
Why Opensource? I'm not complaining, but wondering how that converts to profitability?

kind of hoping to do open source as a fresher, one thing though will you provide any experience that can be added to our resumes. Thank you
Somehow very entertaining even though its just you finding and fixing bug in the app loll

@REDTING I'm curious why you're doing this work though. What's the motivation behind it?
