This is great. I hate Arms Race but I need that shield. Any idea if the combustion will trigger an Elemental Projector Artifact?
It won't. They coded the fire DMG as something different just so it wouldn't work together. Too op :D
dont think so. the gun itself applies DOT damage to you but i dont think the game registers it as you taking real DOT but rather just suffering an aftereffect. grabbing a quote from Moxy's comment section, someone said: "Yeah... about that. Apparently Infernal Wish's DOT doesn't give any elemental damage increase with the elemental projector.
It can work for other things, like stacking consecutive hits/Pearl, building Mindfulness, etc. Violent Tapestry will even give rush stacks for self 'igniting'.
In other words, Infernal wish's 'burn' gets the "You are on the council of dots, but we do not grant you the rank of fire damage." treatment." (From Moxy's Arms Race locations drops video.)
If you get lucky you can get it from the diamond key room in the front of Sanctuary.

The strange thing about this shield is that it is the best one-shotting shield for all classes except moze (arguably the one-shot specialist in this game), however it is probably better on her for general gameplay than on any other class (in comparison to the other shield options).

Seeing giant krieg fall made me realize I didn’t really complete everything in any borderlands game

During my first Diamon Key grab I was absolutely flustered and didn't know what exactly to pick. I grabed this shield, a Sandhawk (only because I recognized the name from BL2), and a Hunter Seeker. Looking back now I absolutely made the right choice.
Plaguebearer and or backburner, swap to guardian angel W/ infernal wish equipped to smack out beefy Bois such as Wotan and hermivorous

Actually the infernal wish increases the light show damage by 25%, it's equal damage to one of the other 4 projectiles, and one of those projectiles is 25% of the damage, if you were to remove a projectile from the 5 because of the infernal wish, then this is a damage reduction of 20%, 100 ÷ 5 = 20, also try the rocket pod with the infernal wish, it doesn't give an extra projectile with the base amount, but once you get your first kill with it then you get extra projectiles from the kill and the infernal wish, it's pretty dope, I use the combo with Moze and the blast master, hope you found the info useful. Edit. 20 × 4 = 80, 80 + 25% = 100, 100 - 20% = 80, I see what you were thinking but you got it mixed up

I got a build going on Zane with a Wish and a >100% chance playing dirty stat to get 3 projectiles out of a Backburner. Utter insanity for bossing.

The self-fire dot is a bitch on Amara with how her Anima skill works. If they didn't fix it at least and they probably didn't.
can you use the "it's Piss" grenade to get rid of the burning stacks from the shield?
I feel like revolter out classes this on most cases for 3/4 of the vh moze being the exception due to the 200% shock being not as big compared with fitsd and big surplus

Lav revolter glitch along with tobagan glitch and this shield just kills everything so fast lol
Ill use glitches sometimes when solo this shield and the revolter glitch js just funny

Basicly wrong, its a really good shield but without amp this cant be more strong than revolter.
So many possible build, there are some build who wish is the better. But less than 30% of all build.
Basicly wish is only good in x1 weapon, if you use it on sandhawk you just have one more pellet, up from 7 to 8 is not a good buff.
So if i continue on sand hawk each pellet deal 200% aditional shock damage, only 60% on heal or armor, in badest case you deal 120% additional shock damage. After this if you add 50% fire rate from revolter this is really uper than a wish
And for exemple if you play zane and already have extra pellet chance, with a x1 weapon you up from 2 pellet to 3. 50%(wish) damage instead 2x120% shock damage with again 50% fire rate (revolter) is really a bad choice. You need to play amp build for really use it.
The only wish advantage is he can have amp instead revolter. If revolter can have amp wish have basicly no advantage except for some specific build like boresplosion who need multi hit for trigger

The issue is Arm's Race it self like when and IF you get something you want to take back where and how to find those contraptions...to do same. Gee a Map large enough to READ would be sweet etc.
