Yeah I thought I would really love this but once I saw it. I changed my mind just to everywhere for me. plus I bought blue blood and ended up selling it because the shadows had a really strong chemical smell I'm not sure what that was.

I got this and I'm obsessed with tanacon and diet rootbeer so good for any look. The shimmers aren't my fav but I'm glad I got it even as just a collector item. I ordered mine from beautylish and got mine within a week.
I agree that at first glance this palette looks confusing. I purchased it because I love Shane and I love the packaging and I just wanted to have it. I knew they were going to 'break the internet', and I wanted to be part of it - I felt like a kid!!! LOL! I also agree to purchase at Beautylish - I don't think a lot of the non-beauty youtubers know about Beautylish so I was able to get it within about 25 mins. and the shipping was soooo fast! Once I received the palette and saw it in person, I was kind of pleasantly surprised and when I swatched it I got very excited. So on my hand I swatched cheese dust and blended it out and then went in with diet root beer and I couldn't believe how pretty the two looked together and how seamlessly they blended. I have found that is the case with these palettes and I am really looking forward to 'pushing' myself and creating pretty eye looks.
Btw, you were correct the first time - the color 'is' Illumina'tea', not illuminate. I love the names of the shadows. You need to watch Shane's videos and know more about him in order to understand the color names. I love the eye looks you created - I think these palettes are going to be fun to use! Love the second look it’s so pretty! I’ve used my palette once and first impressions the brights were ok I was kinda sad they were super powdery I wish the yellow packed a punch will try to use it again soon. Beautylish has super fast shipping but took me to get mine shipped over a week I was surprised usually they’re so good!

By the way, I imagine you heard it a zillion times already but you make me think soooooooo much of Ashley Nocera, that’s insane (and it’s a compliment !!)
I dont know how I feel about the palette...not sure how the neutral shades would look on medium skin
Paramita Samanta they’re actually very pigmented and buildable, I think they would look beautiful on medium skin, but would be more like a base colour for deep dark skin.

I like how JS's shadows can be built up slowly so it's not overwhelming right away. Sorry you get negative comments because you're being honest. Keep being honest! It's why we appreciate your videos! The one row with the greens is wow when you cover up the other shades! I didn't get this...just the mini and the gloss. I'll probably pick it up on restock. :o) Both your looks were lovely!

I don’t care about Jeffrey’s brand but I always love to watch your videos, the last eye look was stunning, I’m not drawn to those colors and the packaging it’s so bulky, and by the way I don’t like pigs, but I’m always curious about the beauty Industry, was very clever to do those series and to put the light in how a palette was created.
Yes, this palette definitely is not for everyone. Overall great marketing though in my opinion

I haven't bought any J* products in years, but I love the style of this one. And I also have my eye on his blue glittery highlighter. Do you have that one? I spotted it on someone I met in CA and man it looked stunning on her. So of course, now I need it 😂

I feel so bad that you get attacked for speaking your mind. I literally got blocked by Jeffree Star because I said I don't think his Morphe Collab is that impressive. No joke.
Oddly that centre row that we are all humming and ahhing, if I could buy them as singles I know I would like all of them. I think they could have been better presented, but on the whole it is a good palette.

Almost 2 weeks later, my Jeffree Star Cosmetics order is still unfulfilled. I got the beautylish order in just a few days.
It's quite normal... JSC has many more orders to send compared to Beautilish and other websites... The majority of the palettes are sent by JSC. My JSC orders were only processed today while my Beauty Bay order arrived a week ago.

I think JS is very creative and I look forward to see what he comes up with next but I agree, his makeup line isn’t my style. I did get Blood Sugar when it first released, at the time, I felt that I would use it lol. That is the only palette that i have from his line. I love the packaging, he put a lot of thought into his line and I love that. I get hate for liking his stuff because I’m black and the whole drama with things he has said. You get attacked for liking him, and hating him lol
Lol you really can’t win! At the end of the day, his brand is super cool! Collector items!
The final look you created was is beautiful, some of the colours are way to over the top for me, but I'm pretty certain I would find a couple of shades that I would use forever. But the initial palette design for me looks weird and scary, kinda bulky & batchelor, its just a very over hype make up palette that will go out of style pretty quick, in other words not my taste at all however I'm not a crazy make up collector either, I just buy what I feel will suit me. It's just money making really isn't it.
I never use mirrors and I love my pig mirror lol just saying you maybe probably definitely need it 😂🙏 I really wanted the gloss and the red lipstick but I missed both because it was such a shit show on Beautylish - I also ended up having to spend more money buying the palettes separately because Beautylish wouldn’t let me check out and the bundle sold out 🤦♀️ no regrets though, I love Shane Dawson so I would have bought the mirror and palettes even if I hated the colours lol
Hahaha Isn't Mother so much safer? 😉 😂😂😂 I end up not getting this last 2 Jeffree palettes, was kicked out of the BeautyBay website when was doing the payment and when finally was able to get in again the palettes were gone, but think will buy them plus the black mirror and the red lippie on restock next year 😊 I was really sad till PMG Divine Rose show up from nowhere 😉 Now I'm glad I didn't get Jefree's palettes when they launch, or wouldn't be able to get Mother's palette 😂😂😂
Bottom row is kaleidos futurism palette, the middle is the thirsty palette mixed with the brightness of jawbreaker, the top is his take on neutrals ( cool toned like the alien palette). The packaging is bulky, but if you don’t have much you won’t mind. JS shadows burn my eyes. His palettes smell like glue. And while I admire his take on pre-existing trends, I never look at someone and think “ 😳 That’s a JS eye”. It’s all just pop culture marketing + packaging to me, which is enough to make someone millions , but not enough to get in my collection.

Bobbie Brown yeah I get it. I honestly hadn’t heard of him until JS did his first video with him. I’ve been watching RUclips for so long I don’t even want to say 😂😂. I guess it just depends on who you subscribe to and who RUclips recommends.
It can happen if they don’t make content that works with what RUclips sees you’re into. I thought Shane was Onision for years and either way removed his content from my feed, but here he is again. 20 million on one platform isn’t the world. It just means people 18 and below and marketing people know you.
I did know who Shane was BTW, i just said I dont' watch him too much coz his vids are lonnnnng.
