    Was diagnosed bipolar and had a shit ton of suicide attempts. Got my test checked and was like 100 ng/dl. Doc refused to do anything about it, so I went and bought some with a bit of research for trt and haven't had a single episode since. I recognize I should probably mill through a few doctors to do this the right way. I appreciate channel's like this that actually talk about trt/steroid use for sure. The differences and whatnot. Derek from "more plates more dates" has a clinic called marek health (which was referenced here as a sketchy clinic) but they're actually really conservative with trt. I know several people who went to them and were turned away from trt because their levels were in the normal range. A lot of popular trt clinics will give you trt no matter what your levels are at as long as you're paying, but Derek's clinic is different.

    I just started TRT at 48 years old with 3 small kids. My Doctor was concerned about an off-ramp from TRT down the road and being cautious. I had just had a vasectomy so fertility wasn't an issue for me. I told him that I had 14 years until my youngest turned 18 and I wanted to make the most out of these years. From my experience with TRT, going from deficient to mid-range (~600) is extremely anabolic. Going up to 1,000+ is better, but not nearly as much as people think (you’ll get much better gains from optimizing protein). But the big exception is when cutting and/or maintaining extremely low body fat. This will basically crash every guy’s testosterone. So TRT is performance-enhancing for many men who don’t really need it. A friend of mine who used to be a male model said that TRT is common in the industry, just to deal with the side effects of year-round low body fat.

    Mike is right mostly, but I think there is a conversation to be had regarding the modulating effect of TRT on free Test in the body. Someone who makes 600ng/dl on AVERAGE (without dosing) is subject to swings in test levels based on stimuli. When you replace on a consistent schedule, you reduce the amplitude of those swings. But yea, that would be a pain in the ass and if you're at the level where you need to modulate your test levels, you're already blasting a few other substances

    • @adneovesen1249
      @adneovesen1249 Год назад

      Exactly, naturally your testosterone fluxuates throughout the day and week and you may only be peaking at say 600. With a trt dose, you will usually have a constant 600 ng/dl level which does have various effects on the body, like you will probably gain an edge in terms of building muscle.

      @@adneovesen1249you have that completely backwards. Naturally your body produces 10-15mg a day at a steady state. If you’re going to a clinic for TRT it’s a once a week shot. When you cross that threshold you get all the extra glycogen and water weight in your muscles and blood density and other benefits. Probably either stay in healthy blood pressure range or hit minimum powerful dosages, I dunno about guys who aim for the 300 range.... Like you shouldn't do it at all but if you do then go for real gains imo.
      It's less risky if you're already on trt, definitely if you're natural then don't stop at 200. I have good blood pressure and cholesterol on a 200 cruise but without the extra superpowers from blast, not worth the needles for that dose if you aren't already committed to trt

    If you don't need the shit, DO NOT get on it. I'd much rather produce my own.

    I was pretending to be interested in TRT as got to training in hypertrophy seriously pretty late (about 45) having been a boxer in my youth and not 'jacked' but typical lean muscle from a routine of calisthenics and a bit of weight training but been pretty sedentary for a decade and found even training hard using mainly RP advice with a bit of the man like Jonni Shreeve, the gains were hard won. Got tested at 11.8 in 2021 in the UK (about 340), dropped some body fat cleaned up my diet and improved my sleep trained, trained trained, also improved my cardio got tested 6 weeks later and went up to 15.26 (440) also took Tongkat and Ashwagandha. Not sure what improved it (suspect it was the lifestyle not the supps) and realised I definitely don't need TRT and basically was thinking of 'hopping on' which is an entirely different thing. Decided against at this stage but it is hard seeing guys who are juiced to the gills training with minimal effort, minimal intelligence with terrible form jacked AF. Really interested in my 'free' Testosterone though so going to pay for the more in depth test (clearly still tempted to jump on 🤣)

      Thanks for sharing this. I’m 404 or 14.1 and I feel all the symptoms. I’m hitting TRT on Tuesday this week and cannot wait. I’ve had enough of the perfect diet, training and everything but still feeling the symptoms. I look great, lost the body fat but had to go keto and quit alcohol for over a year now and train my butt off which leaves me shattered with very poor sleep. I’m starting low doses and working up to whenever I feel like life is awesome again. I’m a qualified therapist and I’ve tried fixing it through positivity but alas it’s a hormone thing. My DNA test confirmed this too. The warriors gene apparently but as cool as it sounds it’s not a good thing, I easily create cortisol the test killer. Anyway I rambling. Here goes TRT and really happy to hear your natural efforts worked for you. I’ve pushed my options to the max so now it’s medical intervention!

      The whole point of the video is that this doesn't work. Adding test exogenously (from outside the body) will fully eliminate your natural test until you stop, or forever if you're unlucky. You are either shutting down natural test for no reason or you are risking some high blood pressure/cholesterol.
      Either stay the fuck away from the needle or go for a big boy dose alongside blood pressure meds and then get out afterwards, or commit to trt afterwards forever, which is a possible outcome even if you try to get back off

    A natural’s testosterone fluctuates throughout the day, whereas someone on TRT is consistently near the peaked level.
    A natural can overtrain. Someone on TRT could do the same thing and get away with it because their SHBG isn’t going to elevate and lower their free test as a result of what would normally be overtraining.
