Fallout 4 - Lost Souls

- A month ago I put this video up. I took the video down after about an hour because I saw a lot of comments saying that the video ended abruptly, so I decided to add some new footage to the start and end of the video. I had actually thought of adding some more stuff to the ending of the video in the first place, but I decided not to do it in the first upload.
Anyway, it’s been awhile. Over the past 2 years I’ve worked on a few things. A minutemen video, then a short film kinda thing, and then another film kinda thing. The reason why these videos were never finished is primarily due to quality concerns and a severe lack of motivation over time. A while ago, I heard this song, K&F Thema by Apparat. I really liked the song, listened to it a few times and inevitably I started imagining things I could do with the song. I came up with the idea of using the footage from my past, abandoned projects and making a mismatch video thing just for the sake of fun and entertainment. So that’s what the bulk of this video is, expect that the clips at the start and end is new footage I've made recently.
I have never stopped making content, just all of the stuff I’ve made recently has been unfinished. I do have one more video I want to make in Fallout 4, after that, I’m going to look into moving to different things.
(10/18/19)
I recently made a discord server for Fallout 4 animation and stuff. Maybe check it out if that’s your thing.

Notice that the Sole survivor has gotten older on this one
Rollinghypogrif240 prob been a while and he’s reflecting on all the shit he had to go through. This guy made me play fallout 4 again in a different way actually rp with my character and what they would be going through now so many decisions I wouldn’t have otherwise taken make more sense now. I would love a nuka world tribute with raiders to see the SS downward spiral into madness as grief drives him to destroy all that he’s achieved.
whodoyou voodoo This videos inspired me to play fallout 4 again too. It just sucks that I don’t have Nuka world DLC
Rollinghypogrif240 eh it’s alright the location is great but the quests are meh. It only shines if you like being a douchebag evil character... or if your once valiant sole survivor slowly succumbs to the depths of insanity after destroying the one person you set out to find.
whodoyou voodoo I think the reason for that DLC is that because The sole survivor was supposed to end up like Kellogg
I actually didn't want him as an old guy. Because i want him to be a synth
OH MY GOD HE LIVES AND HAS BROUGHT ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL GIFT.
Great work as usual
TenTheFox my thoughts also.

You gave the sole survivor more emotion than Bethesda can and for that I’m truly great full
That’s not hard to beat but in comparison he went over the moon and back with it
They should hire him for their own sake
S K Too bad the engine might blow up if they add this character animations of his
@@Rollinghypogrif240 hahahahahahaha true that!
you know these videos are literally just situations from the game, right? his cinematography and animation is amazing but the story itself is from fallout 4
U.S. Army Veteran, Husband, Father, Friend, Survivor.
The Sole Survivor Forever.
Out of everyone on the internet, you are one of the few who looked upon Fallout 4 and saw beauty. You saw sentences waiting to be refined into poetry. You saw a canvas covered in paint, hiding itself until one like you would move the colors into a masterpiece. You saw a muse the likes of which no other could hope to see within its lines of code.
So rarely do I look upon something such as this and feel enthralled, to see art as it should be, in its purest forms. Your work moves me in a way I can only hope to describe.
You are a wordsmith without word, a sculptor without marble,
a masterpiece maker.
Thank you.
That was such a beautiful and perfect way of describing Pandamic and his content.
Yeah
Fallout 4 was great, the people who won't stop comparing it to New Vegas and bash the hell out of it failing to understand it wasn't because Bethesda are bad at what they do, it was because what Obsidian did was too good for anyone to surpass them.
*speech*
*150/100*
Fuck up dude, that was cringe as fuck. Nerd.
List of things that should happen:
-Bethesda should hire pandamic as Animation Cutscene consultant considering you obviously know something that they dont have.
-Set a patreon we will.pay you.
something that they dont have? I hate when people talk about things they dont know or understand
FINALLY "THE MAN WHO MADE FALLOUT 4 GREAT AGAIN" IS BACK!
This is just phenomenal!! Bethesda should hire this guy!
Im a simple man, i see a pandamic video, i click
your profile pic tho
I bet 2020 has been a hell of a year for you then
So when are you gonna be the cinematic creative director for Bethesda?
Holy shit, I would fucking die if that happened lol
It’s the only way to save them at this point
Hey hey, they don’t fucking deserve him.
I wanted to like this but .... 69 likes ....
Pshh, Pandamic IS Bethesda at this point. Their videos are literally the only reason I still play Fallout 4
It seems the Sole survivor has accepted what has become of everyone he loved and the world he knew, he knows nothing will ever be the same and that this is life from now on
Fallout 4's story would've been so much better if it could've captured this mood
Agreed
It was, and then idiots got mad because BGS said there wouldnt be any returning factions. If you had paid attention everything in the Dream video was from in game files that werent deleted. It had an actual story before they were forced to scrap it because of tards on the internet whining(which Todd needs to stop listening to, aint none of them know what they want and they ruin good ideas he and his team have constantly)
Remember when this came out and Im still rewatching this to this day
Makes me want to rp the game again like I did my first playthrough and add real emotion and effect to my character my first time roleplaying this game my Sole survivor ended up joining the brotherhood and destroying the institute because he felt a sense of familiarity with his army days of fighting for his country as the brotherhood is very militaristic he adapted well to begin with on the hunt for his son and feeling like he was the hero only to end up being haunted by what he'd done the lives he took in his "great crusade" to find his son and save the commonwealth pushed him to severe depression and PTSD that he became disillusioned with the brotherhood after this event and left its ranks he then took the nakano case with nick to track down a runaway kid hoping that this time he gets it right so another family doesn't have to suffer the same fate as him
This animation was made SOO BEAUTIFULLY I honestly thought some of the shots came from a movie. Love your work.
This dude made the best fallout animations then just dipped…..wtf
It’s been 4 years already and I still miss and re watch all of your videos you have make me a very special bond with a can I did not care for when I first started now it’s probably my most played game and inspire me to make videos when I have the time I thank you for everything
After all these years...
First of all thank you for making me discover the Beasts of No Nation Soundtrack.
I've been watching Dream almost every day this summer. The sound design is just way too good.
What's the background music? I'd love to know what it's called
Man, i feel absolutely the same. "Better look me in the eyes" is my antidepression song now.
@@NixonCrucian Thanks to Pandamic right?
@@NessieAndrew sure. Never heard of Dan Rover before.
Future President Victor its called "better look me in the eyes" he also used "helicopters " and " a song for strika" in that video. the composer is dan romer.
Oh my god dude its been so long!!!
But still a masterpiece as always.
With every video, you give Nate the same level of cinematic depth as Kojima did to Venom Snake in MGS V. And I think the atmosphere that these both share is strikingly beautiful. Well done.
This is beautiful. The story and emotion told through just music and visuals make this a masterpiece.
I've been waiting for this ever since the livestream. I vaguely remember you mentioning having a motion-cap suit. Is that why this one looks so good? I don't know what you plan to do now, but it'll probably be amazing.
Still can't believe how good you make FO4 look. Amazing amazing work
"I do have one more video I want to make in Fallout 4"
Hi Honey!!
Cannot even begin to tell you how incredible every facet of this video is.
I know Fallout 4 gets a bad rap.
It's not the game everyone wanted, but I've always loved it despite it's faults.
The thing I love the most about Fallout 4 is it's characters, and I'm thankful that your animations shed light on that aspect of the game.
If only people can appreciate it for what it is and not what it isn't.
Oh yeah all the memorable characters like Nick Valentine and...uh....w-well there’s still Nick Valentine!
I like Fallout 4 but it just isn’t a good fallout game. Compared to New Vegas it just isn’t the rpg it should have been. It’s got great gunplay, a pretty good modding community, but other than that? Nothing that really stands out as a great game.
@@trial_with_an_error9687 I like RPG, but you know after hearing so many people whine about "THEY TOOK THE RP OUT OF MY G!!!", I just don't want to care about that anymore, I wish they will just ditch the RPG altogether, since I feel the RPG element in Fallout 4 is actually more of a nuisance, and don't kidding yourself, Fallout 4 has been one of the most playing single player game on Steam for the past few years and won DICE and BAFTA game of the year award in 2016, it's objectively a great game.
It is indeed an amazing game, anyone who says that fallout 4 is shit is just talking out of their ass.
B-but it's not exactly like new vegas!1!!
Only elitist will do anything they can to shit on the game even if its objectively good.
Personally;
-i liked fallout 3 for what it brought, an amazing ambience, exploring the metro, washington DC, its the game that captured the destruction the best out of all the games.
-i loved new vegas for its interesting story, its amazing DLCS, storybuilding, not so much the world tho. But it had more rpg elements than previous games
-i enjoyed fallout 4 for what it was, a game that felt dynamic, seing companions interact with the world and you, exploring boston and its abandonned building felt right.
Each game was great in its own way, don't listen to these elitist retards.
F-fallout 4 was s-shit because it was different!!!
@@doma7572 But but but but muh role playing muh choice muh consequences muh dialog muh oppression!
This .... this is emotional
I always come back and watch all your videos. We need more.
All this just for some peace and quiet.
This piece of storytelling art needs way more views than it has...
Who else has been dying for a video to come from this genius?
Even with all the destruction, I still think this is a beautiful game. You do a wonderful job of showing that. Thanks.
This is brilliant, it gives the sense of tragedy for thr sole survivor, I really wish Bethesda had went more in depth into this character
The camerawork somewhat reminds me of MGS5. . . I love it!
that is soo beautifull the music , the grafics , it just made happy and cry just amazing
The younger sole survivor was reckless and the middle age one was a soilder and hero and the old man Nate is their to reflect on his life’s actions
Metal Gear Solid vibes are already in motion, I just felt it!
Incredible video. I had a feeling he was going to start speaking at the end about how he can’t find his son after all these years of searching. Masterpiece
i always saw this as a part 2 to his “dream” video, as the sole survivor beginning to find peace
YES, I’ve been waiting 2 years! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Tony’s Shred shed SAME Bro!😂
I can’t believe it’s been that long
I will still never understand how someone can make such masterful animations in-game. Amazing work.
I love your work. You put so much emotion and intensity into a game that a company couldn't. If I ever wanted to see the paternal struggle of a father looking for his lost son this is it. You capture the essences of what is tragic and it is so sublime that you can feel the pain of the sole survivor. Phenomenal work, absolutely phenomenal.
It's really weird.
I sometimes wondered off, imagining things while listening to this song from Apparat...
But this... This is art
This is easily the highest quality Fallout 4 animation. Period. The way it reminds you of the things that happen to the Sole Survivor and the tragedy of his life in the wasteland. Losing their spouse and their son, in all but one ending killing that son and everything that son worked towards. And the shots of him at the castle with Preston talking to the Radio Operator guy is so fucking good. To the chaotic fights he finds himself in, this is truly a masterpiece by every sense of the word. Each moment is filled heart and love and shows that you really care and enjoy making these. Thank you.
You add so much emotional depth to this game, it's really mind blowing to see. I cant imagine how much work went into this small video alone. Thank you for capturing the grittiness, despair, and the abandonment of humanity that the character no doubt feels after his countless ordeals in the commonwealth.
It’s been a long time coming, but it’s here. And it is beautiful
At this point I shouldn’t be surprised that you’ve outdone yourself again, but holy shit dude.
Your animation just keeps getting better and better.
Keep it up. Even if it takes its time, the rarity of your content makes is all the more precious to me and I think many others too.
You always blow me away with your ability to manipulate a game into something so concise and cinematically stunning. It's really appreciated!
I literally have been thinking about Dream for the past few weeks. And you drop another masterpiece? I'm just glad I found your channel.
Minutemen, oh Minutemen. Don't you remember what your elders idly quoted? The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Thank you for making me buy another copy of Fallout 4
The first video I saw was yesterday, and that was nearly 2 years ago so initially I thought t was a dead channel but what way to prove me wrong, honestly beautiful, great combat, love the visuals, the music always fits amazingly into these, and honestly they kinda just make you want to replay it over and over
This brings me back to me and my best friend playing fallout 4 all night over the summer. No jobs, no money, no bullshit to worry about. Just the moment. The wonder and awe I felt exploring fallouts world is unmatched to anything I felt before. But that was almost 2 years ago.. and over time the wonder died away. But your storytelling and cinematic gifts bring back that passion and happiness we felt back then.
Making people feel real emotion through cinimatic editing is a skill nearly impossible to find, but people like you are extremely talented
Thank you so much
If you ever do another one of these, you could do a cinematic scene where when the sole survivor goes to find Nick and Ellie says, “Another stray coming in from the rain” then you could flicker between the SS and Dogmeat, because they’re both wanderers, STRAYS with no real home.
I think I've learnt every trick in the book now yet I still can't get my stuff to look as smooth, fluid and with such high quality. Those first shots, when he takes the two people out with the pistol etc. Just brilliant.
It has now been just over a year and a half since this video had initially came out on your channel. Every time I see one of your videos I am astonished that someone could make the Sole Survivor and his/her backstory have so much more emotion than the developers of their own game. As a viewer I am absolutely astonished when being able to see the journey of this pour soul through your own hands. I believe however that this video is not only you showing us the journey of the Sole Survivor, but yourself as well. I believe the truth about this video is that you are showing us your growth, and what is essentially "the end". This video shows us the end of your play through, the end of your character, and what I believe to be the end of your Fallout 4 days. I know that you said you were planning on making another video for Fallout 4, but I can't tell if you were talking about your tutorial video or another cinematic. If I am right about this being "the end" of your video making days, then I hope that you are moving on into a better stage in life, possibly one where you are doing some sort of cinematography for a certain gaming company ;). But if I am wrong, well my friend, then I absolutely can't wait to see your next video!
These never cease to amaze me
I watched dream 2 years ago, and I’ve been waiting for this for 2 years
This is so beautiful, and I like what in my opinion you tried to pictured. This man, this soldier who enters in a complete new world. He doesn't understand what is going, he only do what he is best at, what he was trained for, and that is killing.
He's done it again. Another emotional makes me want to play the game again video
This is like a trailer for an entirely different game...I LOVE IT
YOU ARE ALIVE! I had almost lost all hope...but of course it was worth the wait. You work is still incredible and only getting better!
We need you again...
This makes me realise how great a fallout game on another engine could be
Here lies: The fallout animation legend.
Love this and all your vids man. Well done to you (dream is my fav btw!)
Once again I am astonished how much life, emotion, and soul you brought through the character with such great detailed animation. Phenomenal work my friend!
Imagine a fallout game made by Rockstar. Thats what this feels like.
I feel like rockstar would fuck up the lore somehow tho. There's so many details going as far as cleaning products. Also the modding comunity would die if rockstar made fallout
This does make me think of a Kojima game. this fact makes me happy
2 years I've been waiting for the next video for 2 years and now I'm free this it's a beautiful video
Just subscribed yesterday after seeing the DREAM video. Amazing stuff.
Oh man, you're lucky. Some of us have been waiting years...
I see it as the cannon ending, and now this.
I too like to go to high places and look down upon the ruined world of fallout 4. It's beautiful yet sad
I wish they would make a animated or real Fallout Movie, I would go see that in a heart beat, this video is a perfect example of why we need one, they could do so much with the stories of Fallout. Great Job, You Got A Sub From Me!
Alot of people would
Every time you come out with new content, it makes me want to go back and play fallout 4 just to try and get close to the cinematic experience you portray here. Excellent work my friend!
You're back other masterpiece thank you!
Pandamic, you've done it again! Just amazing!
This how fallout 4 should have been
Over a year later, this video finds its way back to my list...
Man, if Bethesda ever wanted to make a digital fallout movie.
Talk to Pandamic here... It'll be a masterpiece.
I like his approach as making the sole survivor not good or evil just flawed
Just WOW! Wish the game was more like what you have envisioned it to be.
Holy shit man your work has such clear direction and narrative and I love it. Keep up the good work, and keep blessing us with this amazing content ❤️
say what you want about fallout 4 but the sheer potential for machinima and other videos using its engine never ceases to amaze. 3 and NV have some great ones but holly shit your work blows a lot of them out of the water.
Damn right! This guy made Fallout 4 better than Bethesda could've done! Also, I don't think you could do anything much out of NV and 3's engine considering those two are really ancient and full of bugs and they probably won't do well in machinima but it would be nice to see what this guy could come up with them!
Badass man. Made me realize how cool realistic cqc would be in fallout. I rarely watch entire videos but watched all this.
This is what you get when you actually role-play in an rpg. You build your own story on top of what’s given to you, imagine consequences and impacts not explicitly shown in game for your character’s choices, and add personality and depth to your character that you wouldn’t want someone else scripting for you.
A hero arises! The legend returns.
You bring depth to my favourite game, you add to what it lacked with very few words and lots of visuals.. thank you
A man lost in a world full of chaos trying to find a way out but he can’t so he must endure it may he and those around him find their peace. In death be that happen
Dude you really should make a movie in this style using your character. The cinematography is amazing. An your eye for shots, details, an music choice is just mind blowing you. You could make the greatest machinima flick ever made!
I genuinely want a fallout 4 remake and have this guy direct the story
watching your videos always makes me want to jump back into binging fallout damn theyre great
You do some absolutely amazing work dude. Keep em coming. You've brought life to this story and game like no one else has.
Puts me in the mind of angles favored by the Kojima team especially in The Phantom Pain, fantastic work
I have no clue how you do these vids, I just love that you do them.
This is amazing man, the sole survivor kinda reminds me of Joel from the last of us in this vid
We're never getting animation mods as good as this...
Now this is truly
A
[ *GOLDEN EXPERIENCE* ]
Sir, again you have outdone yourself! Fantastic work! Really just love these.
this is a masterpiece
As an FO4 creator, your work is an inspiration as to what can be done with this game - and I hope you keep coming back!
Please continue the story of this character I love your videos so much and give me so much passion to when I play fallout your videos are so helpful plz don’t stop making them ima huge fan of your work and it would suck if I couldn’t see another video on the broken man character you play :)
It’s by far the best 3D animation I’ve ever seen bro. Good job 👍🏻👍🏻
You’ve disappeared for a while, but if you make a return, I’ll be here to celebrate. By the way, this is art. And you, my friend, are a modern-day DaVinci.
