At 6'4", I love my '23 XE. I did however just order a set of SW-Motech adjustable pegs to lower them just a little. Not that it really needed it, but we'll see. The heat from the OEM pipe was hot and uncomfortable to the point of a deal breaker on the bike. I swapped out for an Arrow slip on and it eliminated the heat on the leg almost completely. There are some other exhaust options out there, but I didn't want an obnoxiously loud bike. I am loving this bike 100%!
This looks like a great bike and I’d really like a test ride but the three times that I’ve been in my local Triumph dealer I don’t even get a “hello” from anyone in there, which doesn’t make me feel like spending money with them.
@@TAYM I wanted to give them a chance. I did send them an email to point it out and was told that if I made an appointment, someone would look after me. I don’t want the red carpet treatment, I just want someone to say “hello” as I walk through the door or walking around the showroom. I went into another dealership and was spoken to nicely, shown where the coffee machine was and told that if I wanted to chat further, where to find them.
if you want to stay off the main roads it's a cracking bike, done the picos on it this year and it was perfect.the mrs came up to the north york moors for a day and was perfectly happy with the ride and the exhaust but i did have a TEC flank pipe on which really does keep the heat down so if you can handle the height it's brilliant
TAYM 🦒 has worked out I have Tea between 6:40-7:15pm & knows I cook every second night so coincides videos when my turn or when I'll be eating tea & not near reach of phone.
Late as well RR but as u know I have to cook tea every night, do the washing up, mop the floors, hang out the washing and polished the silver...so that's why I'm late...oops here comes Mrs Tree I'm doomed😊😊
I have one as my commuter bike and I think it's great. The tall position is commanding in traffic, even non-riders appear to love the styling and the power is solid throughout the gearing. The heat production from the exhaust is ok, filtering is easy and it feels light (but my main bike is an R18).
Hi Taym, i know I always bang on about it but imo the cockpit view is pants. Whereas your T100 is sublime. Many people are of this opinion it seems probably all old fogeys like me. I remember I. The early 70s I went from FS1E to a suzuki gt250 with twin clocks and a rev counter the bees knees😂 and some poke. All my shed cars minis, vauxhall ha vivas etc I put a rev counter in them all. Looking back I don’t know why😂 but I still like that arrangement on motorcycles. Nothing like bouncing of the red in everything really. Oh and a go faster small steering wheel and flash gear, nob😂
Thanks Volt 😁 yes, yes, yes definitely at least two round clocks 😁 🤔 was it the viva that had a sliding Speedo, if you know what I mean, one that went across the dash 😁 I guess we must have been born like it 😂😂
@@TAYMno that was my austin 1100 and my dads 1800. Like a red ribbon sliding across the dash. The viva was a two clocks speedo and fuel and temp. I pit aftermarket rev counters on the dash taught by my dad who owned a garage repair/recovery business. That tape speedo was even worse than these new horrible mcycle dashes
Morning taym love it so much the xe model with those gold forks and the style reminds me of mx years ago from my child hood every weekend through the season I’d love one but to tall for me now I think the gsx be better for me but nice bikes ride safe winter is raising its ugly head im afraid
Hi'ya TAYM it looks nice and looking at it makes me wonder why Triumph doesn't put similar tubeless spoked wheels on the Bonnevilles 🤔. Alas not really my thang these off roader type bikes although probably a good option should one need to ride in all conditions and through winter but I would probably go for a 400 cc for that .👌👍
How, sir, are you not at 10k or more subscribers? Cracking channel… please do keep up the good work! (FWIW, a “thanks” button would certainly get a pint’s worth from me! Ta…)
it's no way off road ;; it's twice as heavy as needs to go proper off road , needs to be the green paint ;; and round clocks , and less electric crap ;; have seen these at the factory inc daniel craigs own bike , quite smart ,,
When I pressed sport mode on my bullet I was suddenly sat at a cricket match. Technology is amazing 👍🏻
😂😂😂😂
Aaaaarrrf! 🤣🤣
So it works then, excellent.

Best bike imo. That said, I got the XC, because it was my starter bike 🙀
Thanks Logan 😁 definitely a great practical Classic 😁
Morning Taym 😊 nice to see a bit of sunshine on this dark and dismal day in Bury 👍

Because QLD roads are so abominable I'm thinking about a scrambler myself and that Triumph is a doozie. Thanks TAYM 😊

I do love this bike but it would be too tall for me.
The 900 would be perfect.
Love the design.
Thanks David 😁 yes, takes a classic look and makes it more practical 😁
👍👍👍
Thanks Darrell 😁
The orange looks great with the gloss finish, not so nice in matte.
Definitely agree 😁 thanks Colin 😁
what are you thoughts on the scrambler v/s the Speed Twin? Do they ride significantly different? tuning, power, etc...
Yes, definitely very different 😁 ST feels to have much more poke and handles quite a bit better😁 thanks Chris😁
Yeah, no. It's alright isn't it. It weighs less than a Royal Anvil and the power is still moderate. 😁😁👍👍
@@GapBahnDirk 😂😂😂😂 thanks GBD 😁
Too tall for me but what a beauty especially in that colour
Thanks GCK 😁
WOW - what a special motorcycle the triumph Scrambler is! 😱If it can make you appear, ‘normal’ give one to Trump is all I can say! 🤣🤣🤣
