Gosh, all these Indian videos are just so special, and you have done an amazing job capturing them, Steph and Pete! My favorite scene is at 3:22 - there is something about the color of the sky and the historical architecture that makes Pushkar as you say "magical". Hays looks so cute when he pouts his lips, what a sweetheart
I'm glad you're enjoying them, Bethany! I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Tonight is the start of Hanukkah (Hays and I celebrate) and also, we are off to a close friend's family wedding. Apparently there will be 500-600 in attendance! We hope to share the experience here soon. And for Christmas, we'll be in another unique little homestay that looks marvelous! Counting our blessings. Best wishes.
A Western kid of his age in India will ensure his tolerance of avoiding sickness, when he gets older, will be high. Food poisoning will be a thing of the past after his immune system gets adjusted to it in India.
water worship is very common all over India. whenever there is water body there will be people worshipping it in the country. in South Indian villages people first worship the drinking water and then drink it.
It is one of my favorite videos, Steph! I say it too often though😁 I can feel the magic of Pushkar with its mysterious and pure esthetic sides: the Indian music makes it hypnotic too. I totally understand how Hays can find the barber scary (He is so cute when he says it’s scary! by the way! 🧡) when he does his shanty shanty massage to Pete. But at the same time the whole scene is sooo funny. 😂 As usual, you managed to share the strange and still so warm and friendly atmosphere of the place you visit so well that we have the impression of being there with you. I appreciate a lot the daily experiences you share during your trip especially staring Hays. When you guys talk about India, your eyes are literally sparkling✨ You really convey your passion for India in your videos. I loved also when Hays keeps on repeating ‘But my Daddy said Don’t get close to them’ while he walks towards the monkeys.😂 You are so lovely Hays ❤ and his parents so patients and generous with you 😇 You are a lucky boy!
Thank you Jumi!! You always leave the most thoughtful comments that are so encouraging. This was a fun one to make since Pushkar is so stunning, but honestly we’re enjoying making them all here because India is so visually interesting everywhere! Thanks for watching. ♥️
5:00 hahhahhaah... I can watch this over and over and over again. Puschkar!! I saw a video of the city during Dwali and Pushkar looks the city that was in it... so beautiful. Love seeing all those old men with the crazy long beards looking like they're high and spiritual. They must be the gurus. So wild seeing all the monkeys living amongst people. Love it.
Hehe glad you enjoyed. I enjoyed making it. 😆 Pushkar is really amazing. It's got similar vibes to Varanasi, but Pushkar is the place of birth and Varanasi is for death.
Next time u visit rajasthan, try to cover Ranakpur ( between udaipur and Jaipur). Check out the Jain temples there. Mind-blowing stone work carving in marble and granite. I bet u hv not seen anything like it. Every column and roof is different and worth thousand pictures.
You guys look so happy! It's so nice seeing your smiley faces. And in a sea of sameness in youtube content (at least on my page), I love these videos - they're beautiful, unique. Also, I come from a family of germaphobes - it's almost OCDish - and I can't say it doesn't affect me when I travel or in life general. But I realize when I'm with people who are not like that, I relax and experience the world differently. So in short, I guess what I'm trying to say, I like the way you experience the world, and I think it's a good influence for someone like me :).
Aw, thank you! That means a lot to us! We're so excited to showcase India and if it could even inspire some people to visit, that would be amazing. I used to organize a trip to India with 8-12 girls from my old high school, and introducing people to India and getting to see them experience it for the first time is my absolute favorite thing. And it's of course good to be conscious of hygiene, but it seems necessary to strike a good balance between being safe and having it prohibit you from enjoying your travels-- we're always looking to strike a balance, though I fear I swing to the other side of the pendulum on that one, haha.
Little correction regarding Brahma temple , actually there are two Brahma temples in india. One in pushkar , Rajasthan and second one is in khedbrahma, Gujarat . Yes pushkar was founded by lord Brahma
You can visit to the CLEANEST CITY OF INDIA - INDORE and make a vlog that we visited the Cleanest city of India. There’s isn’t much tourist vibes there, but the food there is great and different. There is a dish called POHA which is like originated from Madhya Pradesh mainly INDORE . Also there is a city called Ujjain which is like an hour distance from Indore and it’s like a Land of Hindu Gods . Ujjain city was declared as the most sacred place on earth in Hindu mythology. Really waiting you all to visit Madhya Pradesh.
Been to Pushkar twice and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. Something about that place calms me down a lot. I think you captured the vibe there perfectly!
Actually if you want to understand the diversity of this great country, then go to the NE India!! 😄 you will experience the differences😃by the way I love the little man, so adorable💓😃
