I don't know how I missed this video of yours, Denise, but thank you, thank so much for this vid as I've got these books in my Amazon cart and I'm moving over to trying my hand at intuitive art once again. I did a piece a few years back using acrylic paint and some gauze material and white acrylic paint. I didn't unlike it, but it wasn't that great either. Anyway, I'm so glad you are here to teach and show what you know and share what you discover and your wonderful personality and attitude, I'm a fan of your channel now and I too am a big fan of Klimt. I think his paintings are incredible. Can't wait for your next video!❤🧡💛💚💙

I love getting a sneak peek into art books. I don't have enough space to buy all the books I want, so I need to be very selective. I also have Lorene's book, Color In and Out of the Garden - the palettes are gorgeous!. Thanks for sharing!

I love seeing what art books other people have too.. so I culled my bookshelves for several fun videos of the ones I've collected over the last several years of my creative business. The color in and out of the Garden is one of my new favorites! I haven't had it very long. 🎨

Anna Mason is a fantastic flower artist also. I have Lorene's book and have done the swatches to my flowers and instead of photographing the actual flower, leaf, etc. I paint them. Such fun!

These are wonderful! I have the modern watercolor botanicals book. It's so beautiful but I don't really try to paint that way but still gorgeous and inspiring. I definitely am going to look into the other books you enjoy. Have an awesome day

I don’t really try to paint that way either… but I still find it inspiring and so creative! Sometimes just looking at the books triggers ideas and sends me down the next creative rabbit hole ☺️

I felt the I'm getting old part in my heart 😂💔 when I do master studies it's usually from screen and my eyes sometimes get really sensitive to staring at screens for a long time 😅
But seriously the last book looks so good and glad you got it in big size 👏🏼👏🏼

That big Klimt book is truly amazing. I’m glad I got the big one too!! The older I get, the more I want to hold a real book over looking at a screen. My eyes get tired too! 😊

No Georgia O'Keeffe? I thought you would be pulling her out for review since you love the flowers. She's amazing!
Good topic, and a great share today 👍

Thank you for the flip throughs! May I ask you if you have instructional books on one-stroke painting technique? I have been looking for this kind of books but I cannot find anything. I saw some videos of Ms. Dewberry but she always has her hands over the brush so you cannot see really what she is doing. Do you or anybody else know if her instruction books are better? Or do you know of any other books on this technique maybe? Thank you so much for your time and effort! Love from Germany!

So glad you enjoyed the flip through! I can’t think of any on one-stroke painting off the top of my head. It hasn’t been a subject I’ve looked for. I tend to really enjoy abstract painting most and I tend to look for those lately. ☺️
