Hence, each country’s govt have to design / plan policies according to its country’s needs.
We need to innovate. We need the courage to innovate and put ourselves out there. I think most Malaysians are scared of being looked unfavourably if we did something out of the norm , but being kept in that box could actually be something that stunts growth.

I met a 40 years old malay men, electrical engineer who have 3 house, 2 children, a stable job, degree from Malaysia public Uni, and healthy as a horse. He said that Malaysia is a good country with highly subsidize healthcare, education and infrastructure, and pointed out that 6 million people coming in to the country. Compare living to other country he rather stay in Malaysia. . On the other hand, I met an unemployed, unmarried , doing grabs and other side hustle but have a degree, smoke a pack in 3 days,, man complaining and blaming everything on the politicians , the economy and told that Malaysia is the worst country to live because all the cost are high. Different people, different views different mind set. I learned that your character determine your future. Get your life together guys.
top issues for Malaysia are the lack of reliable law enforcement and long-term planning. If you need good people to stay and serve the nation, you need to provide security and prospect for abundance. Sense of belonging is a given for most Malaysians (while Singapore is trying very hard to create that sense of belonging) but the lack of more basic needs such as financial security, safety etc are pushing people out to serve other nations instead. We are too blessed with natural resources that we can afford so much bullshit with politics. If we don't solve the "brain drain" issue (maybe there will never be political interest to pursue this as the incumbent wants to stay in power), we will never achieve developed nation status and Malaysia will forever be "developing".

What would you expect in Malaysia while out MYR currency is dropping since 1mdb scandal and soon LCS scandal and a lot of unknown scandal.. GDP increase doesn't reflect actual wealth of people. A lot of people still having lowest minimum wage 1.5k.. MYR somemore.. same job but change to different country like Singapore neighbour country also can accept English, Malay, Mandarin but offer higher pay (not even count currency conversion)..
Cost of doing biz in Msia is getting higher. Eg RM300 increase in minimum wage. 1% HRDF for almost all employers. Now RM4K/mth can still claim OT, 98 days maternity, 7 days paternity. Max 45 hours/week work. Flexi work. All these does not increase productivity. They only increase cost.
Malaysia can also use Singapore as example to follow their good policies. Just like covid periods Malaysia’s covid getting control by following or learning Singapore’s strategies and it’s works well. Just learn and follow if you don’t know what to do.
Yes ! 1st we need to abolish standard minimum wages and prescribe on Progressive Wage Model. Not all sectors need to be paid RM1500. The Malaysian government also needs to become the 'middle man' like the Singaporean government did. No need to focus on producing but on processing medium and high end products.

Malaysia has everything other people needs. Fruits, eggs, oil, semiconductor and now graphene and seaweed. It is unwise continue to be a key commodity supplier without negotiation power. Thinking more of making more little money instead of being a leader of supplier chains in something really good. World class Education and banking system, Green Industrization, Energy and Food Management, Data sciences, marine research, high quality infrastructure, IoT and semiconductor key material supplier that uses Malaysia resource to make others pocket fat. Where are the leader and scientists going today...Surely, if Malaysia boleh is real.. it must to be realized it.

ok, FDI indeed create jobs for locals. But what kind of jobs? Like factory supervisor, chips installer that requires 0 knowledge about knowledge and engineering? The low tier positions are offered to locals, but the high-tier positions like engineers are offered to foreigners. I wouldn't say all foreign investors do it in this way but most of them are. So, Malaysia possess 0 technology from them and they invest here just simply we are LOW COST LABOUR. Like indonesia situation stated in this video, we have actually no different between them. I would disagree with 9:11 . In fact, we have started for over decades but we are still trapped. And ya, Malaysia was once able to compete and have the same potential with Korea, Singapore and Taiwan, and now we have to lower ourselves to compare with undeveloped countries in Southeast Asia. Malaysia improving? Just see how the currency exchange between our ringgit MYR with SGD and Thailand Baht in these few years, ya malaysia is improving but backward. And the most annoying thing in this video is you invited a politician to give a talk to Malaysia economy instead of an independent experienced economic professional lol. Malaysia only turned south during the pandemic? In my book, Malaysia has been stuck, unable to advance for the past 30 years. Since 1993, the KLSE has only grown about 50%. In the USA, the SNP500 has grown 1000% over the same period. The stock market is important because our retirement incomes and wealth are linked to it.
Many company are hiring foreign worker for low skill and even for high skill worker...this is not good for Malaysian that we need to compete with foreign worker... government should limit the company to take foreign worker so that Malaysia has higher change to being hired...if not all the job will be taken by foreign worker and Malaysia need to find job in other country...this is not good for our economy too...since foreign worker didn't spend so much in our country and sent most their salary to their homeland....
Encourage foreign companies to set up Manufacturing and R&D center in Msia. Tax exemption for 5 years and also do away with the need for local shareholder requirements. Foreign company must have 80 local staff and 20 foreign staff, then 90 local and 10 foreign. Restructure the immigration policies for foreign workers. Have it similar to Australia system by points. PR for Foreigners with local spouse 5 years and then renewable for 2 cycle (15 years then convert they have option to convert to citizen). Foreigners that contribute high taxes for more than 5 years eligible for PR ( Tax paid RM 100,000 above) and also investors that brings in RM1Mil above and sets up company here in Msia - PR . Encourage foreigners with high education - masters, phd to work in Msia - under nomad Passport - 5 year then they can renew for 5 years. Post 2nd renewal - PR grant. Reduce the MM2H threshold to RM 8K.

We need to innovate. We need the courage to innovate and put ourselves out there. I think most Malaysians are scared of being looked unfavourably if we did something out of the norm , but being kept in that box could actually be something that stunts growth.
Too bad this will never happen, the reality hurts doesn't it?
You should play with your Title and include Tengku Zafrul in it.
I was 50/50 on clicking this because I didn't expect it to be this serious... You might get a few more views.
we attract foreign business probably because of low wage here. My company's Malaysia branch is basically the kuli of the company, we do the most project for the company, even train colleagues from new branches like China or Taiwan
Get your life together guys.
i strongly agree sir, with that kind of low level of self belief mindset we wouldn't get anywhere
Honestly, malaysia can recover but slow,we need time.
Bangkrap already, government no money.
You really sounded optimistic. That is good.
Great content 👍👏👏
top issues for Malaysia are the lack of reliable law enforcement and long-term planning.
Why delude yourself that Singapore does not have a sense of belonging
Thank you for always opening my mind
Personally I think Malaysia futures come to a standstill since 1997 Asian Financial Crisis.
5:05 we having big number for 2022 Q1 and Q2 is because we basically compare quarter on quarter with 2021. 2021 if you guys still remember we are still in MCO. So the big number this year compare to a low number last year and calling this impressive is quite laughable for me. If we can still get it next year and next next year, then I would have call this impressive
Some hot air here. Indonesia is doing better than Malaysia. So is Singapore.
So proud of Mr Money TV!
It is too bizarre in believing Zafrul’s panglossian outlook when he pandered on MYR 4.8 Billion allocation for Jamin Kerja. Only in Malaysia figures are in Billions, but ZERO output. Not gonna take his words anymore
love your video!
Nice to have tengku zafrul on ur show bro..good point on how to create high income jobs but the truth is..u are not ready son!!
Graphene is an isotope of carbon. The kernel shell is hard carbon and the kernel inside is just lauric oil (like coconut kernel oil). The kernel is normally crushed to kernel cake to feed animals. It is the kernel shell that is the waste product that are either burned in the boiler or used to make woode floor tiles....
interesting info regarding graphene , good content
👍, now cash king is in jail, hopefully Malaysia recovery will hasten
We still need to pay that imdb bond... I just hope no more lrt3 or any mega projek or another crazy skycrapers n bonds that kontributing to the current rm1terilion deficit for another 7 keturunan to be settled!!
Sorry as if Najib is the only corrupt cashking if its rightly proven w all corrupt judiciary..u have corrupt Towkays past 7 decades top Forbes list even own Chinese Indian destitute w few rich cut throat trillionaires and Billionaires Asian Musk Musk Gates Bevos..etc or Ma or Indian Anand...

check out our other videos where we spoke to rakyat!
Tipu
What would you expect in Malaysia while out MYR currency is dropping since 1mdb scandal and soon LCS scandal and a lot of unknown scandal.. GDP increase doesn't reflect actual wealth of people. A lot of people still having lowest minimum wage 1.5k.. MYR somemore.. same job but change to different country like Singapore neighbour country also can accept English, Malay, Mandarin but offer higher pay (not even count currency conversion)..
the economy has not been doing relatively good for at least a decade. just look at the stagnant salaries, GDP and GDP per capita
not only Malaysia.... everywhere seeing shops closing
Your channel is fire, well done
I believe we can do this together.
Thanks for sharing Mr Money n YB Tengku Zafrul ☺️
Malaysia no money, bangkrap already......!!
U all choose another country like Australia .
This is example, people who live within the circle
Yes ! 1st we need to abolish standard minimum wages and prescribe on Progressive Wage Model. Not all sectors need to be paid RM1500.
The Malaysian government also needs to become the 'middle man' like the Singaporean government did. No need to focus on producing but on processing medium and high end products.
So sad to let go our talents n have them work in SG then now we have to follow their models of doing things. How ingenious of us!
@@alexlim4508 S'pore talents come from countries all over the world. We are thankful to all who contributed to the S'pore economy.
Your Malaysia is based in Peninsula Only? If you want the true story. Dig deeper into Sabah and Sarawak. Find out why direct shipment is not possible and everything has to go through peninsula malaysia. You can see why your palm oil idea has a big hole in the middle
I wished our recycling department would be better, not just in KL but also our other states in Malaysia. About 10 years ago I came across a video of how people in more developed countries had plastic bottles recycling machine where you just put your plastic bottles in and it ejects money, as an encouragement of creating a more sustainable environment. I am aware of the vandalism here in Malaysia due to the poor culture, we can't even enjoy rented bikes because people here steals them, however, places like Penang successfully launch such facilities so we can work from these places first
Because of the economic crisis and the rate of unemployment, now is the best time to invest and make money to secure a bright and well future for our kids 💯
Investing for today is priceless because tomorow isn't promised, trading Bitcoin, gold, silver and crypto secure a better tomorow

Crypto is the new gold

@Shamal Bandara Oh really,I got confused also but, I was referred to Mr Creed Gilbert
We have lot of catch up to do. Without improvement on education system we r no where near our dream of being a high income country. The only early possibility is to go to work in other countries that have a high exchange rate and bring home Then we can become high income earners.
in southest asia the only country jadi tumpuan pekerja warga asing adalah singapore & malaysia.
Thailand and brunei.
Wait you guys are located at The Strand ah? I recognise the thumbnail
Please make a video on stock investing for college students or other investment strategies for college students . Thank you .
Tengku zafrul on Money tv OMG 👍👍👍
You know election is near when this type of news come out. Trying to polish their image before the final showdown
Can't believe such things cuz I'm an employee under GLC company with no fairness in salary rates between our branches...
nice sharing bro...well done
Domestically we are still OK..once we start trading with foreign countries..the Ringgit to USD value will have big impact to our cashflow.. does that mean we are the unnecessary victim of something external that we do not have full control
Malaysia all import
Before covid.. Malaysia economic not seem doing well.. and when covid hits.. it brings the whole situation to even more worst.. looks at Vietnam & Indonesia now.. before covid.. many investors from Malaysia already go to these countries
Get rid of the corrupt, improve policies and business climate, invest in infra, unite as one
Please brother, Malaysia Ringgit is 3.23 per- SDG dollar. Malaysia is a poor and less developed nation. A sanitation worker, in Singapore can earn RM10k in terms of Ringgit. Focus on education, let 100% school leavers get higher education or l see Malaysia fail and become a pariah nation. I do not see any future in Malaysia, unless it's citizen here desire for a change and want to make a difference in this land.. since 78% of SPM leavers don't want to further education, if shows........
Malaysia is amazing
Mr Z is a BN guy now, untrustworthy.
can you make a video about the current hype regarding world recession?
ok, FDI indeed create jobs for locals. Even Malaysia bankrupt today, our dear finance minister will also say Malaysia economy are good.
Malaysia wil always rise again
-A hero?
Yes... I'm facing problems to fill up my empty shelves. Paying bill. Noting for myself. Even my pets and strays I feed ,I had to cut their portion
Wow....finance minister in your show...its fastastic.👍
Bad for the poor (not only Malaysia but globally during this global recession era), but middle-class and rich feel nothing during this inflation what... so, all in all, Malaysia is prosperous as compared to other Asean countries whose government only side capitalists and selected billionaires
He lied to us... Say want to resign if epf on off are approved
Bye bye Malaysia,,,
From Indonesia
Malaysia economy will never make a leap as long as the present establishment is in power. Malaysia economy is depend on GLC and government public project. And all these only benefit certain people.
Property msia harga gila2 mahal ... tawke2 developer super rich
Now, I would like to see how MrMoney TV response to today's announcement for civil servants. Those benetifs etc.
Damn graphene from palm oil is a breakthrough
Malaysian 🇲🇾 more Lose in the Future economy because the Philippines 🇵🇭 get back the Sabah land ,,!! And the Philippines 🇵🇭 Will rich Country Again ,,!!
Corruption is preventing economic growth from benefiting those who really need it
Malaysia only turned south during the pandemic? In my book, Malaysia has been stuck, unable to advance for the past 30 years. Since 1993, the KLSE has only grown about 50%. In the USA, the SNP500 has grown 1000% over the same period. The stock market is important because our retirement incomes and wealth are linked to it.
Many company are hiring foreign worker for low skill and even for high skill worker...this is not good for Malaysian that we need to compete with foreign worker... government should limit the company to take foreign worker so that Malaysia has higher change to being hired...if not all the job will be taken by foreign worker and Malaysia need to find job in other country...this is not good for our economy too...since foreign worker didn't spend so much in our country and sent most their salary to their homeland....
foreign investors all talking about Singapore thailand Vietnam indonesia and Philippine not malaysia.
Hmm...Somehow I feel that the numbers doesn't add up or is it just me🤔
Creating just less than 100,00 jobs and all got related to gov and GLC, and he called that "jobs creation"?
Look, Malaysia has a TON of potential but you still have high corruption, favoritism and an incompetent government. Non Malay people are leaving Malaysia for better opportunities elsewhere. The policy that a non Malaysian person can not lead Malaysia says it all. (Don't get me wrong, I love Malaysia and I want her to be Singapore 2.0 but changes must happen.)
Although the government keeps working to stabilize the economy. Unsure the value of Ringgit Malaysia.
Hahahah. FDI is actually DEBT for the Economy....Investment are just another words for DEBT that needs to be paid back WITH INTEREST. No payback are called SCAMED like MBI???
bravo Malaysia , bravo brother Malaysians
If we have a clean government, we will grow.
wow. that's why Ringgit were so strong before Covid. I see.
Neste and its partner Petronas had supllied Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) - 30% Cooking oil (Palm oil) + 70% Petroleum to & had been successfully tested with a Malaysian Flight using SAF fuel last year 2021, Malaysia Airlines A330 freighter flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur and this year on June 2022 tested on passanger flight boeing 737-800 from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore (this one animal fat not cooking oil). for now the newly SAF fuel is quite expensive were about 7 ringgit per Kilo (aviation fuel are using kilos) vs JetA1(100 petroleum) about 5 ringgit per kilo, Petronas & Neste currently had plans to mass produced SAF fuel to supply aviation fuel to Malaysia Airlines and the region...
As a exmuslim 'ex malay' Atheist from Malaysia 🇲🇾,
I hope I can get leave this country permanently before things hits the fan.
All the best to those who choose to remain in this country though.
Bravo
