Edit: After the nerf they saw the error of their ways and un-nerfed the augment, but changed nezha's base range for spears to 16meters(it was 19) and its now highly scalable again with range! have fun

I'm been doing some slight cooking with the Ocucor and I now satisfied with the weapon performance, now the question is the subsume.
I am considering between Breach Surge, Nourish, and Dark Verse, and now Viral Tempest is also on the table, so I kinda want to hear what your thoughts tho

I never got why they nerf anything since its a PVE game. You said it, they nerf the fun out of stuff.

I personally will wait before I try it out, until the next hotfixes are live. Too many times I got disappointed by DE‘s nerfhammer 😂
they'll have a hotfix for this by tomorrow morning, mark my words. (I hope I am wrong, but DE nerfing fun is par for the course).
If they do then I wonder what their intention was with the augment in the 1st place, even if they make it 0.5 it will still be able to do the same thing with a little change to modding xD

But really though, they all got back into the office today from easter weekend, so if they're browsing the latest broken warframe stuff from their content release last week, broken things to nerf will be on the agenda today.
@@morning8590they probably wanted it to not work through walls, only line of sight. So, if they revisit, they'll probably make the status only spread to the speared enemies that are within LOS. Right now you can mod max range and nuke the map.
@@HDCybersunprobably depends on how the line of sight will work. If it takes only what is on your screen that would suck but if there only needs to be line of sight from the spears it would still work very well

has anyone tried this with thermal sunder yet? Since the heat procs should be spreading from everyone to everyone
adding archon vitality and blazing chakram could be absolutely wild
Edit: Wouldnt this also go crazy with melee influence on a weapon like the xoris that force procs electric (and can do corrosive damage at the same time) which will strip armor and then spread the electric damage possibly multiple times?
I might till after this weeks update to see if he gets nerfed before i invest i think.

Definitely, I've take the convectrix to level cap and that was a cake walk, so an AOE convectrix? yes easily :) you can take roar, but not really needed for convec it deals enough damage with CO and bane, but you can ofcoarse take roar and trample it more

I mean this augment let’s ne zha reach pretty close to the theoretical maximum kpm in survival on a full optimized build. I would understand if they nerf it
It does the damgae multiplier when they die not when they hit they ground
It does the damage multiplier on spear retraction, not when they die
The most they will do it probably cap the stacks to 100x
would pillage, thermal sunder,or fire blast work as well?
Yea they do work, the ability just takes over the statuses, so as an example the vastilok or latron wont work with their armor strips if you stip one enemy, but because corrosive is a status that would work, so pillage generally is big enough to cover the place where you speared enemies as well as fire blast it'll work just fine, and thermal sunder is really good with it due to the damage it deals heat wise :)
@@morning8590 thank you so much for the fast reply i tried thermal sunder and i didn't really have to use much of my weapon because some how i was able to run a good amount of strength with a tau forged shard(red) then some strength mods (umbral intense, blind rage, molt augmented) then constitution for small duration it was a different battle scene🤣🤣. im going to try another helminth to see its effects

Edit: I’ve been wondering about a nerf but I feel like one needs good weapons / modding to make this work so hopefully they leave it be 😬
Yea true, maybe they leave it just because it takes the investment from weapons into accound, fingers crossed! Yea i tried a few weapons like furis was also very good and the latron etc etc, fun augment to mess around with :)

It’s not fully DE’s fault, they want to make the community happy. While on the other hand the community thinks this game is a competitive PvP shooter for some reason and is always asking for nerfs.
Fully agree, its about fun, non-competitive as well, some of the community just needs to remove their heads out of their a**** and realize what they are asking for, if somethings fun, thats awesome, all warframes should feel amazing to play, not nerfed because some people cry about the warframe they main didnt get a fun augment, its always been a bit weird to me 🤣 I agree DE listens and thats great! but they need to be a bit more selective and less knee jerk reaction...

even with kuva bramma which is a terrible weapon for this job, it nukes anything that your spears impale (at least it did in my 2 hours steel path conjunction survival). but you have to go overboard with range after the nerf.
