OK il just drop this comment here to clarify things. Gauss's passive BATTERY is the bar on your HUD, it goes from 0% to 80% before you activate your 4th, and 0% to 100% after. The NUMBER on your battery when you press your 4 is the REDLINE percentage, wich builds up to 100%. The Armor strip on your 3 is based on your BATTERY that is above 80%, scaling linearly. Meaning at 80% BATTERY you dont strip any armor and at 100% BATTERY you full strip. Your 4 drains your BATTERY constantly so you cannot full strip as you are not at a 100% BATTERY at any point before you get 100% REDLINE, because then your battery stops draining and you will be at 100% BATTERY for the rest of your 4 Having Corrosive projection bypasses this as you need to only strip 82% of their armor and the aura does the rest. Meaning you only need to be at 96,4% of BATTERY to fully strip armor, allowing you to fully strip enemies from the moment you press your 4, not having to wait for REDLINE to build up. Hopefully that makes some sense.
I think the new arcane coming with jade that gives str and duration will be huge with this build Also the double crit damage on frozen enemies may increase its potential as well
Yeah It's not actually "perfected"... More like "overcomplicated " There's short video on RUclips where guy easily explains how to nuke on gauss Better watch that one if you don't want to waste time on long ass build explanation that does the same things as other nuke gauss builds
@@apexgear2340 it's not overcomplicated bc of few numbers It's overcomplicated because it's waste you time on the same results as normal gauss build Like, really...korumn?
@kyaii I think Seismic Bond counts Kinetic Plating as a channeled ability because it can manually be turned off, just like Trinity's Well of Life, Limbo's Stasis, Mag's Magnetize or Nyx's Mind Control. There are some other REALLY WEIRD abilities that can trigger it, since it shares the "Channeled Ability" requirement with Arcane Intention. EDIT: I lied about Mag, it only counts for her Magnetize Hold variant, which is a normal channel...
I made a very similar build to this! for my melee weapon I opt for falcor/xoris though and build for corrosive+heat. corrosive is just to combine an element with electric so I can have heat by itself, since the explosion from both falcor and xoris force proc electric and hit multiple enemies very easily.
Now with more experience with gauss, I can see some major disadvantages this has compared to just a normal sunder build. Building for sunder allows you to go full into ability range, with 280% range giving a 33.6m nuke, which is quite a bit bigger than the 20m from influence. Sunder nuking also ramps up in damage exponentially. A good sunder build can kill any units below level 1000 in base sp with three casts (two casts of heat, one cast of cold) Normal sunder builds don't use a melee so you can use praedos for more movement speed. Plus this build subsumes roar onto his 1. If you really want that extra damage from roar, normal sunder builds can also replace kinetic plating with roar and opting for shield gating/arcane aegis for survivability. The biggest downside imo is definitely the range reduction. I appreciate the attempt at something new, but I don't think this is better.
HOW? MINE IS UNCONSISTENT AF, IS maybe because i need to be en 100% redline o smth? Could you send me your build or maybe a vid that show how works nowadays cuz i thought it was nerfed, lol

And Gauss will only get more powerfull with the status rework now that blast will do twice the damage when at 10 stacks, needing only half of the damage to kill everything around him
If you wanna try something with even silier damage numbers try essentially the same build on a status ceramic dagger with using dirgia as an influence proccer and max range on him with mach crash as his grouper
I've been using this strat with the Prova Vandal who also has forced electric proc on its slam attack, only downside is you can't use the Boreal mod, and since it has innate electric, you build corrosive heat instead of Viral. I'll try the Korrum out :)
Dropping in to say that you could now in theory swap out Boreal's Hatred with Melee Elementalist for 90% status damage instead of 30% (assuming the numbers of Elementalist aren't also wrong) I could also be misunderstanding how Elementalist works idk
Hi! Thanks for this interesting video! But there is a BIG problem on your build, the problem is THERMAL TRANSFER , if you have a heat build on your melee, when you cast cold thermal sunder with thermal transfer you get a cold buff on your weapons, so your melee now apply blast and not heat anymore, so you can't NUKE , if you use heat thermal sunder it apply more heat to your melee but now you can't use cold thermal sunder for the nuke because it will apply cold elemental damage again so you are stuck in blast elemental melee.
Build looks sick I’m gonna try it out tomorrow. Why do you run vitality and fiber on your nautilus? I’ve been able to run 0 survivability mods on my sentinels without them going down since they did the rework. You should try it out.
@@cornelmironb8421 No and yes, same with Falcor's charged recall explosion, Prova Vandal's slam, etc. They'll all work for activating melee influence, but the problem is that all of these attacks have electricity on them, which would combine with the heat to make radiation, unless you build for magnetic or corrosive with the heat instead of viral.
