    I like to see tricks that are unique to skiing, like big nose/tail presses etc., not just big trampoline tricks.

      @BruceOldham  3 года назад +9

      I personally agree man! Some times a big trampoline trick with a unique grab combo can be dope tho 🤤

    i’d rather only have like 5s and 2p2 with gilla ass style than trip 16s, wouldn’t mind having a dub 10 tho

    I prefer sendy stuff if I'm watching a competition, like Jesper tjader doing crazy stuff over henrik's chill, steezy stuff at knuckle huck, but if I'm watching a ski movie or something, I prefer more stylish skiing.

    I prefere style over send. But finding that good balance between the two is what should be winning the competitions. Just going extreme in one direction is never the best route in my opinion. "be water" :D

    Nice video! In my opinion style and send are on one spectrum. Style is simply perfecting tricks you already know. The only problem is that in order to do a stylish trick you need a lot of practice, confidence and time, but doing a sendy trick without much percussion and style is much easier and takes less time.
    I think it’s a question of “perfectionism” VS “progressivism”. It’s about what you favor, learning a new trick or perfecting the one you already know.
    So personally I can’t give any favors here. You need to focus on perfecting tricks you already know as much as you focus on learning new stuff.
    P.S.: You should keep going with “philosophical ski videos”. They bring up interesting debatable topics and I’m sure a lot of people will enjoy them.
    Have a good day!

    • @jhdkljghldkfjghsdlfk
      @jhdkljghldkfjghsdlfk 2 года назад +1

      @@silvanborra792 There are lots of different names for tricks. if your trick is true to definition of its name, then it is technically a perfect trick, just not artistically.

    • @silvanborra792
      @silvanborra792 2 года назад

      The problem is there are people who don't need practice for a trick to have style. So practice and perfecting a trick doesn't mean it has style. Let's say a frontside 450 out wich is perfect, is in my opinion not style but if you ad a shifty or a grab or cork it or look back or butter it out tuck your knees up or tap the rail makes it way more sick. Then i think you need to make it look controled and ad something from wich i mentioned. Style is very hard to explain and each person thinks differently of style. That's my opinion
      Peace

    Watching Andres channel, I can't help cringe at the style he approaches everything..for ME, it's way too structured, to boy band music lol, to "5am gym, following an eating program, cheesy gold chain, very mechanical, I will always be on the side of casual funky style with "fuck it send it" mentality. I love Henrik big time, the gangstar barking is getting old because I'm now old (43), but still love the guy!

      Honestly i really don’t like Harlaut and can’t eve tell you why.
      But i understand absolutely what you mean about Andri.
      For me he’s allways to focused „to win“ and being „the best“. In my opinion, he should have more fun to do what he loves then to win.

    • @BruceOldham

      Andri is just doing his own thing... I honestly think that people don't realize that without the structure, 5am gym, eating program, and mechanical type of lifestyle you will never reach what he's done, dude has the most World Cup Wins and Crystal Globes out of everyone! - In order to make that happen you have to make those sacrifices... you don't really need the cheesy gold chain tho

    Almost to point where the competitions need different events... one event for traditional ‘Air & Style’ - and one for ‘Air & Gnarly’...
    Maybe competitions could have one required style jump, and one jump has to be a required gnarly jump?!
    Might encourage more well rounded competitions, and more enjoyable to watch as well.
