    Excellent! ON1 needs to do a complete series of the various types of photos that many of us more senior photographers have (e.g. Kodak Instamatic). Particularly interested in dealing with color images from damaged (e.g., heat) negatives. Thank s again for an excellent well-paced seminar.

    Really a terrific update.
    I just wanted to give a shoutout to Stevie who helped me (and I'm sure many others) with a driver issue preventing installation. I was worried that I'd not be able to get the update, but his perseverance found a cure for my driver issue. So, thanks!

    This program is a really incredible value. I’ve really enjoyed using Photo RAW over the last three months. It’s the first program I’ve used in a while that really gives me a feeling of enjoyment with the results and being able to play around. Not to mention the noise reduction AI is NUTS. Watching this till the end gives me hope for actually being able to figure out and use Curves. Putting the colors on there is very cool. Cheers, ON1 folks!

      +1 years of muscle memory in using that scroll wheel, and I rarely pan, so an option to select a default would be great, you can always use the keyboard to change to another if you wish. Would be great to add into next update please.... :)

    HI, I am phasing out Adobe, I want to switch to ON1 or another alternative. Is there a package that includes all of this in this video and what is the cost for standalone version? Your website is a bit confusing, each time I click to buy it shows a different price and I am not sure what is included in the APP it self from this video?

      @ON1Photo  Год назад +1

      If you’ve opened the image with a right>click Open in ON1 PHOTO RAW 2023 as this opens the image in Single Image Edit mode. Resize AI can’t be access this way. It will be grayed out.
      To open a file in Resize AI within ON1 PHOTO RAW 2023, simply navigate through browse and then select your image and click on Resize in lower right corner.

So glad, at the start of the year, that I lobbed for ON1. I recall - quite a few years ago - how frustrating it was to mask hair... it was enough to make one run out, screaming!😁😉

  • @vjurco
    @vjurco Год назад

    Yes, excellent update. I love those masking possibilities - tried on super crisp (hair/branch) objects as well as smooth blurred edges and it really works. In case it is not perfect there are plenty of more complicated mask tools - aka perfect btush, chissel masks or blur mask (locally or globally) combined with feathering - which can polish the result easily to perfection.
    However working on project with multiple layers and heavy masking (not AI only but manual as well, leads to real increase of demands on computer (real time rendering). And guys - there is really a significant improvement in such cases - would say 30%? Excellent!!! Not a Photoshop speed but great improvement.
    Plus, what is not visible, working with big catalogues (roughly 50000 files), "big" computer memory (64 GB ) plus everything on SSDs - all this will cause ON to eat easily for work more than 20 GB of RAM. 2023.1 has real problem once you get to the limit around 20GB occpied RAM - and was clearly seen how ON1 gets slippery and slowing down. Happy to say - memory management is reworked, and since the first day I had no memory problems so far. Excellent again !!!👍

    I'm a Photo Raw 2023 owner. Cool to see these new features in the new .5 version, however I'm very disappointed to see that Photo Raw 2023.5 didn't include support for the Lumix S5ii which has been out for aprox 4 months now. Please add this release an update patch or something immediately to address this. Also, why won't you include support for the High Resolution RAW files? What's up with that? Really hope this will be incorporated also or I won't be able to edit half of my photos in On1 Photo Raw, which would be a problem for me.
