Subaru BRZ - POV Track Day @ Road America

215/45/17 Falken RT660s, 17x8 Enkei RPF1s
STI calipers and rotors up front, OEM brakes rear
19mm STI rear sway bar
Custom side mounted oil cooler, with Setrab Series 6 - 16 row core
Saw max oil temp of 261F, ambient temps were 85F. I saw 278F oil temp on OEM cooler, similar ambient. Sorta meh, but good enough, considering RA is the hardest track on oil temps that I've been to.
Best lap was a 2:45.9, getting dusted by the higher HP cars in the advanced run group. Fun trying to keep up with a GT4 and ZL1 this session. Optimal lap was a 2:44.5 but I'm not a pro :/
Loving the BRZ. Every bit as fast as my prior owned 2013 and 2015 STIs on track. Even more fun on track and canyon roads. STIs are on another planet on snow, ice, gravel roads though.

How did you know the exact oil temp since the OEM oil temp is just a bar graph on the BRZ? Thanks!
