I received mines yesterday. Cool design but I wish that it had more metal. The purple card is more substantial. I just wanted this card due to it being limited edition. I will eventually go back to the purple card

Nice video. I have two of this card and I also agree it is much lighter than I expected. The MQD headstart, MQD with spend, and companion pass definitely make this card. I just used it to spend to delta diamond. You did state the companion pass is only for lower 48, which is no longer true, it works for Hawaii and Alaska now. Also, you mentioned your surprise that there are not higher bonuses now. Fair, but these cards were revamped early Feb and they had higher bonuses (biz reserve was at 110k) until 3/27/24 when they went away. So they were just high across the board. And the biz ones are always about 10k higher, currently looks like biz is 75k and personal card is a weak 60k. I expect we’ll see higher SUBs again in the fall.

Well the Reserve Card is going to offer you $2,500 MQDs automatically. You'll need to earn $12,500 before you hit Platinum Status. You're two options are spend $12,500 on delta flights or spend $125,000 on your Reserve card in a calendar year. Alternatively you could open additional Delta co branded cards like the Platinum and the Business versions to earn more MQDs.
I just applied and was approved for this card … I only care about the 90k mile sign up bonus (after spending $5k), the companion pass and 15% off using miles which is better than nothing given the current state of ticket prices …. after the first year , I’ll probably cancel since Im not really seeing the value.

That’s awesome! It’s a great card. You get that companion certificate and the MQD boost for only $350. Not to bad. And 80k is a great offer!

It was very tempting, but i didn't apply, because i dont want to lose the delta gold and platinum welcome offers.

Love the card but the earnings are very mediocre.
Totally agree. It’s not great. If they added groceries, dining, or maybe 1.5x back on everything, I could behind using it as a daily driver.
