Absolutely. Delta has business versions of the SkyMiles cards are intended for any business spending you may have. The benefit and perks are similar with a few additional ones on the business versions. But for the most part they are very similar. Having a business card is a great way to keep your business and personal spending separate.
If you have the Delta Platinum the first year, but product change to the Reserve before paying next year’s AF, would you receive the first class companion certificate?
I might be wrong, but I think you would have to hold the Reserve card for at least a year, to receive that companion certificate. You can chat with Delta or Amex and I would assume they could answer that one for you!
I wouldn't chat with Delta or Amex about this but if you hold any of the Delta cards and take an early upgrade that Amex offers you, you will get the companion certificate at the anniversary of the original card. 😮
Nice video, Questions on stacking cards do they have to be in the same persons name? I see I have the option to give out a platinum or gold card to a family member. If I choose the Platinum would the MQD's stack to my main card?

Yes. When you add someone as an authorized user, the miles and MQDs will go back to the main card holder!

I don't believe there is an option available to use those in combination. The companion certificate is great, but it is a bit limiting at times.

Yes they will! You do need to pay $175 for each authorized user on the Reserve Card.
Delta amex is not worth it. No lounge access
The Reserve Card offers lounge access. And actually really good access.
