Why is there a 'People Try' and then a 'Women Try' and where are the women in the 'People Try' videos? It's sad. Like, I know a lot of people think women aren't human but does it have to be so blatant and direct? Can't you at least pretend you think otherwise and they're people too (even if you don't mean it). It's considered socially unacceptable nowadays in lots of places to deny women their humanness.
They're a patriarchal society and have been for thousands of years. It's not the business of some privileged Westerner to wag their finger at them or dictate how you think they should live. Societies evolve over time and some take longer than others. Women in Pakistan have it better than their grandmothers and their daughters will have it better than they do. Just the fact that these girls are in school is a major stride for women in their culture. Until the last decade or so, girls weren't even allowed to get an education. You don't have to like the way they live and you obviously don't understand their culture, but at least try to show some respect for the people who are part of it. The Pakistanis are proud, hard working people and they do their best with what they have. I doubt that they want your criticism or your pity.
The women would appear on the main channel but chose to dedicate a channel for the ladies. I don't mind personally, but wished the channel owner would promote this channel more since the Tribal Women Try has fewer subscribers.
@@mskiara18 They explained at one point that the ladies were having a very hard time making it into the studio to shoot videos. Between their jobs outside of the home and taking care of their own families, the channel wasn't bringing in enough revenue for it to be worth their time. I think they jumped into making a second channel too quickly, but they were still very new to RUclips back then and wouldn't have realized that. I know that the channel gets in touch with them any time someone sends a gift, so they can come in for it.
