I wouldn't call him a friend of Ren. They've never met, talked or have had any connection. This was a song a friend sent to Ren to listen to and it blew Ren's mind. Ren said it was the best new song he'd heard this year & he was shocked that Dirt had less then 2k subs. Plus none of his music videos have had anything over 80k views, in fact most are way way less. Ren put up a post to his fans to just listen to this man's song & if you loved it as much as he did, to please show this man some love & sub & follow Dirt as well. Ren said he'd like to see him succeed & his talent thrive, and now that his own music is finally getting noticed that he'd love to pass it along, "A rising tide should lift all ships". Since he put that post up Mr. Millar has gone from 1.8k - 7.8k over night and growing. Plus from under 20k views to over 46k on this video as well. You tell me how many artist do you think would be as selfless as Ren boosting up a total stranger instead of only promoting his own work for his own purposes. 😇Ren, Such a big 💖
I agree, the two have never spoken. I saw Ren's post about an hour after he did it and I was shocked that Dirt had less than 2k subs and then later that night, it was already over 5. He deserves millions more, as Ren does. Dirts story telling is awesome!! I've listened to this very song at least 15-20 times in the last 2 days. Dirt sent Ren an awesome message in response to the love Ren's fans have given him so far.
He's based out of Los Angeles, CA. So glad you guys took the time to check out his material. I've already said this elsewhere, but it's worth saying again - his voice and music cut through to your soul. I feel like I've been a fan of his music for years and I only just discovered his beautiful artistry, thanks to Ren. Can't wait for you guys to check out more. It's so hard to recommend one, because every one of them is so good.
I've screened his whole channel and can guarantee freshness and a honey pot of awesome... rack 'em up... Roll The Dice and Guitar Symphony! This guy is one of the best new artists I've heard in a while! He's from Los Angeles! I have a feral cat named Froggy.
The Wolfman pausing on the video and commenting "This is fantastic". When Ren sent us on a #renegade mission to check out @dirtmiller song. I had the same reaction less then one minute in. Like wow. I like how you mentioned the visuals having a post apocalyptic feel. The crow(I think?) appears in some of his other visuals. And I sometimes feel that his voice which someone mentioned as sounding ancestral is like a clarion call. Maybe give Water in my wine, He was a good man, Troubled by Silence and blind to substance a listen. Loved this reaction❤
Oh wow!!! That’s amazing! Congratulations on the ten years! I’m glad y’all are digging the tunes! I appreciate all the love! Also thank you! Its been a wild ride.. glad to be on the other side!
I agree that this is so loaded. There is something about the nasal twang to his voice that is so soulful. 🎶💐💜💐🎶 They were not friends but I suspect Dirt considers Ren his friend now. Dirt was a big discovery and I am so happy that you were the first to react to this video that I came across. Best wishes from Canada🇨🇦
Next one Guitar Symphony is a masterpiece. What I found out about Dirt Miller: "This is what I found out about Dirt Miller: Per Sound Cloud: "Dirt Miller is an American multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who has been entrenched in music his entire life. With a saga to tell about a life lived hard, and a recovery fought for even harder, Dirt's guitar virtuosity combined with his unique singing style and interpretation of humble melodies and lyrics paint a lush scenario of Americana soul. His early influences like Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, and Led Zeppelin, echo in his songs. Music that comes from pure instinct and deep roots in American folklore and blues history, influenced by the majestic lands of this country and spirituality. Dirt Miller’s music (Co produced by Composer Max DiCarlo) is comprised of real instrumentation- cellos, violins and percussion creating a surreal world of images and emotion. Telling the human story with eloquence, fierceness, beauty and a personal edge that hearkens to one's inner soul, Dirt showcases a dynamic mastery of technical guitar playing matched with a gritty sultry voice that is sure to cut straight to your heart strings-always leaving you wanting more. All written from his true-life experience, the music speaks for itself! Dirt is represented by Manager Dianne Copeland (Copeland Entertainment) and by William Morris Endeavor (WME).
Thank you for reacting to this song. This artist is producing some amazing music and gets nowhere near the recognition he deserves. He has battled addiction and was homeless until about 18 months ago (He currently has a go fund me to pay for studio equipment he needs to produce his next album) “Water in my wine” is simply beautiful as is “He was a good man” I could go on. Please do more Dirt Miller ❤
That was good. Resembling ren style. Could say something here about it but you both pretty much said it all, reaction was right on I couldn’t add anything new. Liked it and you’re reactions to it. 🙏🙏🙏. Just a added note. After this Dan Vasc popped up again. He does covers everything from nightwish to Elvis. Love me tender popped up. Awesome. Might just show the person he is too. Any how. Thanks for this one.
@@SueSueandthewolfman yes I am. Therapy is in 2 hrs for today. Problem is all the pain and don’t know if it the blood clot or issues. Getting back in to dr seems almost impossible. Well there’s my whining babble of the day. Thank you. For inquiring.
I like y'all!!! Y'all silly!!! hehehehe 🤣 Water In My Wine by Dirt Miller next, plz I've had my skull crushed in a crash, I've been dead in a crash, and I've been struck by lightning!!! I relate to Kansas City so perfectly.
Absolutely the best version of Froggy Went a’Cortin’ ever! Dirt is American, but I don’t know any more than that. Dirt gets down to the nitty gritty, doesn’t he? Do you think his mudder gave him that name?

Great reaction. You should check out "He was a good man". An incredible tribute.
Every one of his ballads have substance & have you listening to them on repeat
Got here from Dirt via Ren, but honestly I’m on board with anyone randomly inserting references to Rocky Horror! New sub.
Great to have you Julie!
